I live in the neighborhood and I come to The Bounty several times a week. It is my favorite place when I am trying to take a break from the status quo. I come here for work when I need to get out of the office, or on weekends when my toddler and I are walking around the neighborhood. Here’s why I love this place: — The furniture is over-sized, heavy and sturdy. When my 3-year-old son comes in, he struggles to find ways to be destructive. — Electric outlets a plenty! Just today, a customer next to me showed me there was one behind the bar next to the taps. If you’re there with a laptop, you will find a way to charge your laptop that doesn’t require a tripping hazard from every seat in the venue. — The patrons are typically a bit older(30+), and I find them very accommodating to moving so I can sit with my son, or sharing a table when we are both there to have a comfortable space to get work done or read a book. — Modern digital checkout displays, for fast, easy and discrete tipping as you are so inclined. — The quality of coffee and sandwiches for the price are very fair. The beer, in particular, is even better than fair, going for no more than ~$ 5 for a pint or ~$ 3.50(!) for the rotating special. — The baristas are good people. I have personally observed a barista gifting cups of coffee to a homeless patron. My son dropped his pastry on very clean floors, and the barista who had handed it to him appeared out of nowhere and offered to replace it free of charge. If you want to sit down after you pay for your order, they always bring your food or drinks out to you when it’s ready with a smile rather than expect you to stand and stare at your phone waiting for your name to be called. The Bounty is a very welcoming location with fair prices, good coffee, and people that treat you right. If you want a place to relax in Wallingford for a few hours, this is the place to be.

I can’t comment on the coffee or the food, but The Bounty is my goto place when I’m hanging out in Wallingford and looking to chill. They usually have a great beer selection and some kind of drink special. This is a comfy spot with great customer service. Love hanging out here.

I generally love this place; I’m here to work at least a few times a week. The coffee is decent, the staff is friendly, and there’s plenty of light and seating with big tables. Wifi is super reliable, and it’s conveniently located(with parking!). The beer and outdoor seating options are a nice bonus. I’d give them 5 stars, but lately anytime I go in it smells extremely greasy, to the point that my clothes smell really strongly after I leave. I don’t know if I just haven’t noticed it until now, or if they’ve changed how they cook their breakfast sandwiches(delicious, incidentally), or if with the cooler weather they’re just not getting enough ventilation. I’ve actually stopped coming in as a result — I can’t go to work smelling like grease :(I’ll be back in the summer when the ventilation improves!

Kind of a unique mix of café and bar, with super high ceilings and great location. It’s in my neighborhood so I stop by for coffee some mornings and a beer or two after work once in a while. Most bars, I wouldn’t feel comfortable sitting with a beer and reading my book, but here it just feels natural. The comfy chairs and wood tables set the tone. I think I’d hang out on the patio more, but the 45th/Stone Way intersection has gotten more high-traffic this year, and it kinda ruins the peacefulness. Only quibble– I wish they’d offer slightly more in the way of food. They have pizzas they heat up, and some stuff like oatmeal bowls and scones. I don’t expect them to put in an entire kitchen, as that would change the nature of the operation… but I think they could have a bit more and better food on offer without changing drastically. It would be super appreciated. Also, the popcorn machine is awesome and makes the whole place smell like popcorn, I wish they’d run it more often.

There are many things I love about The Bounty and one thing that I absolutely hate. I love the fact that The Bounty serves many purposes in my life. I have come here to study, meet up with friends for coffee, and watch late night Seahawks games over a pint of beer. The fact that the café converts into a relaxed bar atmosphere in the evening is a real plus. I can watch a Seahawks game without feeling compelled to day drink because it is a café and mini(beer) bar in one. Now here’s the frustrating part… The Bounty gift card system is a «punch card» style that only allows you to order in $ 1 increments. This means that if you purchase something that is $ 2.25 they will punch your card three times(a value of $ 3) or twice and let you pay 25 cents. They do not give any change. My girlfriend purchased many gift«punch» cards for me for Christmas, paying the full value at the time of purchase. It seems EXTREMELY unethical to then punch $ 3 for a $ 2.25 drink if I can’t come up with the exact change. Even though the café has already received the money when the gift card was purchased they cannot make change for me? This wouldn’t be a big deal if it only happened once or twice, but I have $ 20 worth of gift card punches and I’m essentially getting ripped off 75 cents for every purchase unless I have a pocket of change with me. Given the fact that my drink is only $ 2.25 to begin with this is a huge premium. I fail to see how this is legal. It needs to be changed. Overall I really like The Bounty for the relaxed atmosphere, great service, and well made drinks. And I especially like the fact that it provides an alternative viewing spot for Seahawks games. Just don’t buy the gift cards.

I gotta take the star rating down a bit after last visit, as I don’t think I’ll head here again when I need a place to tuck away to do some work or reading. There was a large rowdy party going on, people yelling etc. It was what one would expect in a bar in Belltown during happy hour. There’s nothing wrong with a bar in Belltown, but that’s not where you’d head if you wanted to chill out in a coffee shop. Other customers in the place who were not part of the party, were trying to move to further corners, some left. It looked like it was staff-organized, or at least they knew the staff.

Definitely some of the best espresso in Seattle that I’ve tried yet. Although it’s not particularly a cozy place, the windows and large room seem to generate a productive work environment. Also not as expensive as some other nearby espresso joints.

The coffee and pastries were pretty standard. The place looks nice but is actually very loud. The ceilings are high and the walls are bare which makes for an environment that is akin to a basketball game. I came here to study but it was so ridiculously loud that I couldn’t hear myself think. There are a number of other places to choose from so I’ll not be going here again.

Coffee and beer. Need I say more?! This is the ideal local coffee shop where you can also fill up your growler. Their breakfast sandwiches are tasty. And for $ 5 you get one with your Americano. There are plenty of tables to post up for the afternoon. I also heard they play video games.

What an awesome little place to hang out near Greenlake. I love the concept of a coffee house that also serves alcohol in a quiet atmosphere. Sister and I came here for some beer and pizza and were very happy. They have fewer than ten beers on tap, but the choices were very good(there was a beer from Big Sky brewery woo!) They have a deal of one pint of beer and one pizza for $ 10. The pizza was good for the price. My sister has gotten their coffee and liked it a lot.

Needed a quick brekkie, and couldn’t decide if we could park across the street on a Saturday morning, so we did. I got a breakfast sandwich(with ham and pesto) — small, but a good deal at under $ 3. Fortunately, I wanted something small. I was thoroughly entertained by the size of the«short» chai latte I ordered. I think it was about 8oz. As it turned out, that’s all I wanted, but it was so small it was kinda cute! Also, the chai was nice, good foam on the top. There was a nice Americano + breakfast sandwich deal — would recommend for sure! Strange that this place only has 6 reviews! Review more!

Love it! Coffee, wine, beer, sandwiches, wifi… pretty much a dream for someone who works from home like I do. Especially since it’s just right down the street from our place. There is nothing to not like. It’s awesome that they serve alcohol but you don’t have to deal with the bar/pub crowd and noise. Things are coffee-shop quiet and they have plenty of outlets if you stay longer than your battery lasts(which I highly recommend).

Beer and coffee all at once… what’s not to love? This place holds some prime Wallingford real estate on major intersection across from Walgreen’s. They have a couple not super comfortable but totally deal-able tables on their patio and a combination of bar and booth seating inside. The staff is super friendly and the WiFi is free. its a fairly popular place so you may not get a prime table to set up shop and do some work, but all the folks here seem to appreciate that you should be phone-less and chat away from folks trying to work. Their sandwiches are good but they inexplicably don’t have many of them so they sell out quickly. I’d throw in an extra star if they had better baked goods because the ambiance is way better than your local coffee joints and indoor seating is more comfortable. All around a great place to go get your beer/caffiene buzz on and chill.

I heart this place. The baristas are warm and friendly, the espresso is great, the breakfast special(americano and bfast sandwich, grilled and delicious, for $ 5!) is awesome, and they screen free movies on Fri nights.

It seems that this took over the coffee shop of the past here. Nice little chill environment. Besides the typical coffee and fatty pastry stuff, it appears as if they have a decent sandwich selection amongst other things. Additionally, they have 9 beer taps and growlers to-go!!! There are several tables and a chill laid back ambiance. Found a nice new local place to chill…
