I highly recommend this place if you are in need of watch repair, or a battery replacement. This place has been around a long time, and the owner, Tom, is the friendliest guy around. We had a great conversation, and he replaced my watch battery in 5 mins tops.

The owner is so nice! He’s very personable and knowledgeable about watch repair. I love that he’s NOT overpriced like just about all the other watch servicers. I’ve gotten links added to wristbands and batteries changed multiple times. :)

TMP, named for the proprietor, Tom Payne, has replaced several watch batteries and a couple of broken watch crystals for me. He’s always done competent work at a fair price. Tom is a Certified Watchmaker and WOSTEP, the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program certificate holder. He can take care of you old or new mechanical watches and clocks, too, though some of the manufacturers, notably Rolex, have made it impossible for indy watchmakers like Tom to buy their proprietary parts even for decades old watches. He’s also taught watchmaking at a local community college.

I cannot say enough about this place since he’s been taking care of all my watches that are rare and precious to me. Perfection takes Time. He is the last of the real craftsmen that exist in this techy world of ours. A disposable world we live in. Buy it if it breaks throw it away and buy another one.
Well this can be true for those inexpensive watches but for quality timepieces that are irreplaceable, I bring them here for an overhaul.
It will be a shame when he finally retires. I hope he can recommend a replacement when he finally does…

i went to TMP Company today to have my watch battery replaced. The owner was pleasant and did the work very quickly, while i waited. The cost was $ 10 — very reasonable. i will be going here with any other watch repairs we need.

Took a watch to repair, but he couldn’t do it. Took too long, couldn’t get the part. Then wouldn’t order because shipping was apparently too much for 1 item. He also wasn’t sure, or really couldn’t figure out what was wrong, so I’m not sure the part ordered was necessary. He might know a little about watches and can replace a battery all right, but he provided bad service and was difficult to work with. The only saving grace is that he didn’t charge me for not fixing my watch. Waste of time. Recommendation: Avoid.

I went to get the battery replaced in my watch. The owner is so funny! He does a remarkable job while keeping the funny banter going. In the end, he charged me $ 10. I’ve had this battery replaced before and this was by far, the most cost-​efective one yet! I will certainly be telling folks about this shop.

I went to TMP Company yesterday to have one of my watches repaired. It needed a spring rod and a new battery. This place is just across the street from where I live, and I’m surprised I haven’t been in for so many years.
The service was personal, friendly and very quick. Reasonably priced, too. I got to chat to with the owner Tom, who loved to chit-​chat. It’s pretty rare these days, and he was very kind, and funny. I also got to put an extra pin on his world map.
Besides repairs, Tom also sells a good assortment of Citizen and other watches at good prices, even though I didn’t buy any. Tom is also an authorized Rolex Repair shop. Skill assured.
I like it, I will be back. Give Tom a fun «hard time» and you will be greeted with warmth and plenty of laughters.
