I love this place. It’s on «my side» of Broadway, so I’ll stop by here for a latte or Americano from time to time. The service is quick and friendly, and I love the drive through option too. But I have to relay this story, if only for a few laughs. I stopped by here on Valentine’s Day to pick up a latte before heading to the Salish Lodge with my partner. I ordered a soy latte, but I’m not sure that’s what I got… Later that night it seemed like there was a milk mix up, and on the worst day possible! It killed the romance, but I could appreciate the irony. The only reason I hold back one star is because of that experience. That day I learned I learned the true power of a barista. And with great power comes great responsibility.

This place gets my vote for best vibe on the hill. I especially love the option to drive-thru. The new owner/operator«Rock» makes the whole experience a treat while serving up the always delicious Herkimer coffee.

This little coffee shop has been on Broadway forever and a day. They coffee is dependably good and they are open every single day. I’ve even gone on Christmas day when everywhere else is closed, cerrado, fermé! They use the Square payment system so they take all sorts of cards and Square releases their NFC payment reader, you’ll be able to use ApplePay or pay with your Android phone. Extra awesomeness to go with your caffeine.

I will catch a bus farther from my house in the morning just to get my morning coffee from TnT. Momo in the morning is also a great way to start the day! No matter who is working you get great and consistant coffee. Everyone there is a delight, unlike the snotty servers across the street

This is the kind of place that the barista knows your drink and works to forester a longer term relationship. I was waiting in line with a friend and as the barista was processing my payment, the barista saw the patron behind us and poured her drink(large coffee) said, «I know you need it now.’ Then when she hand over the payment, she said, «Charge me twice, because I forgot my wallet last time and he(whoever was working) let me have my coffee still.» The barista waved his hand and said something equivalent of it was a treat so don’t worry about it. She left a big tip. The bottom line is, I don’t know where else can you get this kind of relationship-oriented service in a big city. =P So it was refreshing to see it happen. The only minor issue about this place is, try to pay cash because there is an extra charge for using your credit card.

I love TNT! This little coffee shack is my favorite place to stop on my way to work or while wandering around the neighborhood. It’s very close to my apartment, so it’s convenient, and they have great coffee. Momo and Ashley are so friendly, when I’m feeling down in the morning I swing by TNT and their conversation and excellent drinks always put me in a better mood!

Now this is one of the best spots to go for coffee. Great coffee if you’re a snob like I am. Not only is the coffee wonderful but the people who work here are down to earth and friendly as heck. Definitely go here, recommend and will be returning!

Get over yourselves and tell the baristas TOTHEIRFACES that your coffee isn’t meeting your expectations and they would gladly fix it for you. Instead of getting on Unilocal and crying like 4 year olds that your milk was too warm. TNT, your espresso is strong and done right(not bitter) and its fast enough to get me going with my brew and be on time even when I am running late, don’t let the Broadway hipsters cramp you, yall are doing great!

MoMo, Edwin, and the rest of the staff are some of the nicest people on the planet and it rocks that they also make some crack-o-licious java(Herkimer, to be exact). They are speedy, friendly, remember your drink EVERY time, and will know your name after two visits. The fact that I can drive up at 6am in my pajamas before dropping the kids at school or at 6pm after working all day makes it even better. If you haven’t met MoMo, you are seriously missing out on one of the funniest, cutest, sweetest people on the hill.

The barista here is really sweet and a hard worker, and she is damn proud of the Herkimer Coffee they serve! Every time I’ve stopped by, the she skillfully makes a mocha and senses how much chit-chat I want to engage in. From her perch in the coffee hut, she gives and receives whats-ups and shout-outs from people passing by and it is clear this lady loves her job and her people in Capitol Hill. As for the coffee: I always get a mocha here, and it is tasty.

People and coffee that are friendly, walk-up and love my dog? Sign me up! I regretfully did not manage to get the name of the great gal who served me when I was there last week, but I’ll definitely be back. My drink was perfectly prepared to great conversation. She was so unpretentious and approachable! My faithful canine companion was treated to coos and treats and I got a great mocha! Five stars and two dew claws up for this great little establishment with great service. Thanks for the awesome service, TNT!

After spotting a line at Vivace’s sidewalk bar, we headed across the street to TNT. We ordered a «12oz., skinny, hazelnut latte» and a «macchiato.» The first question out of the barista’s mouth, «What’s a skinny?» I explained the skim milk, sugar free thing. After a good five minutes, he hands me a luke warm drink. I take a sip. Milk and syrup and absolutely no espresso. Whoops. Question two, «How do I make a macchiato?» Okay, buddy, do you really work here or did your friend step out for a minute and you’re trying to cover? How the hell did someone leave you alone in this booth? Fortunately, my boyfriend was more patient than I felt like being and he walked the«barista» through the process of making the drink. The sheer lack of coffee knowledge on display was enough for me to know that I won’t be back. However, even if the barista had known what he was doing, I wouldn’t return after I saw him wipe his hands and the espresso basket on an über dirty towel and his grimy apron and then manhandle our cups and lids. Lesson learned. Next time, I’ll stick it out in the line at Vivace.

This is a review of the kiosk on Broadway. 1. reheated milk — wha??? 2. didn’t clean the wand fully so my coffee tasted like burned grounds. 3. fraking attitude — you can check that shit at the door espresso was so bad had to throw it away. never again.

5 stars for authenticity. But 2 for same old Oregon Chai everybody else serves. +1 for friendly staff. Wait, how does that add up?
