Good food(hot and sour soup, fried rice, moo shoo vegetable)… and welcoming great service. Will go back again for sure!

I was so glad to walk in and see the same friendly owner, greeting us by name even recognizing my sister who comes in from Arizona once a year! The menu was different but the Sizzling Rice Soup was even better than it was before. My sister loved her usual Crispy Scallops and I ordered Tofu Lo Mein. Couldn’t have been happier!

Delicious, went in for lunch today and tried the cashew chicken and pad thai lunch special, it was amazing! So fresh and flavorful with just the right balance of spiciness and sweetness, the pai thai is PERFECT, it is on the drier side which I LOVE and not overly sweet. As always the owners are amazing, Amy is such a sweet, genuine person, who always remembers my co-worker and I and comes and sits down and catches up with us when time allows. I got a special awesome extra for my birthday today. Try Amy’s Lemon Drop, you’ll be glad you did! Thanks Uncles Lee’s, keep up the good work! I’ve change my mind and deleted an old review, I think this place is BETTER food-wise after the remodel, love it!

De-lish! Been there twice since they re-opened under the new name and I’ve enjoyed the old fav General Taos as well as a couple new ones! The calamari is very, very lightly breaded excellent appetizer. The curry noodles are loaded! Hard to choose between the tried and true(Dry Sautéed String Beans, still awesome) dishes and the new menu items. Guess I’ll just need to keep going back! Yum!

I always loved China Village but Uncle Lee’s is a big improvement! The food is still so yummy and now there’s Thai food too. Super friendly staff and always a pleasant experience :)

This is my families FAVORITE Chinese restaurant. A lot of locals have been worried about the restaurant being closed. We spoke to the owner in the very beginning of December and were told they were closed for remodeling and would re-open. Great news! They recently added new signs on their door(just in the past week) announcing they will be reopening very soon! We cannot wait and will be there for our favorite food as soon as heavenly possible!

My family loves China Village! We have been coming here for years because of the great food and friendly service! This is my favorite Chinese food place! I would recommend both for sit down and take out.

Food was good, customer service even better. From the moment we walked in, the service was welcoming. We would return.

My family and I visit infrequently and have gotten to know some of the people working there. Very nice staff and great food at a reasonable price. Family friendly restaurant and typically fast service. It’s not the absolute best Chinese food I have ever had but it is very good and very tasty!

Eaten here about 6 times over the last few years. It’s not close to home so we’re infrequent patrons but have found it clean and delicious albeit a bit spendy. Tonight we arrived about 7pm, the place was quiet and about half full. We were seated then ignored. We flagged down our waitress who took our order then unapologetically informed us it would be at least 30 mins until the food would arrive. I thought I had mis heard her! I asked why and she said«very busy». It wasn’t visibly busy and I was flummoxed. She offered nothing else and left. We debated briefly and chose to leave. I told the owner on our way out what had happened, and she just sort of agreed that yes, they were busy. Very very odd. With a little encouragement or a free glass of wine we would have stayed, but they didn’t seem to care one bit.

Absolutely great, personalized service. Good food, good pricing, this is one great place to relax after a weeks hard work and enjoy a meal in a good family environment. BTW, did I say the food is really good!

This was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The food was cold, didn’t taste like Chinese food at all and the price was outrageous for the amount of food I received!!! I will never return!!!

Been here about 7 or 8 times in the past year. Adorable and courteous owners who are great servers. Love having our free, fresh pot of tea and waters always refilled. Always quiet and calm here with soothing music. I come with my boyfriend to escape the loud, busy restaurants. The combination dinners are the best deal, so if you are not alone, it’s cheapest for you to order that, because here everything is homestyle. Hot and sour soup here is fantaaastic.

I give China Village 5 stars. I have been going there for years with our family, and its wonderful. The food is always good They have the best crispy eggplant and to die for walnut prawns. Service is excellent always friendly. If Amy the owner is in, introduce yourself and the next time your there she will remember you. Give it a try and you wont be dissapointed

The food has no flavor, unless you consider the bland taste of old cooking oil a flavor. The food was chewy, and not fresh. There was hair in my tea. The tables were so sticky and dirty, I wiped the table down with baby wipe, and even scraped up sticky dust residue from who knows when. I decided it wasn’t sanitary for my one year old to sit through.

My friends and I called an order to go. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, BBQ beef, chicken friend rice, egg rolls and wonton soup. Keep in mind that we’re feeding 5 people off of this. Total comes to $ 42-seems high but it’s good food right? We go pick up the order, take it home, open it up, and it’s a dinner for 2. 2 of everything and a tiny box of rice not even worth $ 5. Then we open the sweet and sour and it’s chicken katsu. We assume we had our order mixed up so we called and they said that’s the way their sweet and sour is. That is such BS! And to get more food would cost another $ 32. Talk about biggest rip off ever. There wasn’t much else we could do, so we just ate what we had which were scraps. It isn’t anything special; I was expecting a meal suit for the emperor or China for what we had just gone through. Should have ordered pizza…

So home sick with the flu & what sounds good to me? Chinese Food. Specifically Hot & Sour Soup. So hubby jumps in his car & goes here to pick us up some Chinese grub to go. The Hot & Sour soup was awesome! Just what I needed to kill those sick germs. Then some BBQ pork with sinus clearing hot mustard. Finally a little shrimp loaded shrimp fried rice with my favorite Happy Family. Lots of scallops this time. :) Can’t wait to eat the leftovers tonight.

We came here while my son was admitted at Children’s Hospital. Three of us came in, wearing our hospital visitors badges, planning to pick up a nice hot meal to take back to eat in the hospital room, before visiting hours were over. After placing our order, we waited for 50 minutes to eventually get our order. I had to check in twice, each time they seemed surprised that I might be concerned about the order. Meanwhile, a family of four, who came in after us, were happily eating their order. Then, after shelling out $ 50, and driving back to the hospital to eat it, we discovered that the food was not what we would describe as good. None of us finished any of the dishes, deciding that going hungry was a netter option. In retrospect, the hospital cafeteria, that seemed so lame, was actually a better choice. My recommendation here: STAYAWAY!

My family and I used to go here ever since I was born. We went here so often we became friends with the owner, who is the sweetest person you will ever meet! Now that many of us were back in town we thought it would be fun to go back for old times sake. And boy this places hasn’t changed one bit. The menu is the same as I remember it, the tables and booths are all the same and thankfully the owner is still there and she even remembered my family and me… sharply pointing out that I «was the baby.» I’m amazed she recognized me! We got some of our old time favorites including the hot and sour soup, moo-shu pork, prawns in black bean sauce, sizzling chicken, and Buddha’s delight. The hot and sour soup is definitely one of my favorites. It’s perfect for the cold fall and winters in Seattle. The prawns in black bean sauce is also great. The plum sauce for the moo-shu pork is awesome so make sure to ask for more if you need it. The service is good and very quick. Plus you get free tea and fortune cookies! The menu is very extensive so I’m sure you can find your own family favorites.
