Wild At Heart

I shopped at Wild at Heart until this year when they began allowing someone who’s banned from teaching elsewhere to teach for them. Although I’ve written to the store they will not reply to concerns.
While their promoting an unsafe instructor I don’t feel safe as a customer.

The inventory if corsets/​bustiers, but no boots yet. Toys aplenty and very friendly staff. Babes in Toyland used to be my go to, but this is more local. Wish they had more classes. Fantastic customer service.

Very welcoming atmosphere. The lovely woman working at the time was extremely upbeat, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to make sure I was getting the right toy for my preferences.

I’ve visited a couple of other stores in the Pierce County area but recently got to venture north to visit this small gem in Ballard. I was greeted by a friendly gal in a Batman shirt who was wearing a Batman name tag so I guess I now know what the caped crusader does for a day job! She was very helpful in assisting me with what I was looking for and questions I had about some of the products. They’ve got lots of ‘old favorites’ like the Hitachi Magic Wand as well as many items from smaller and local companies, which is awesome.
Wild at Heart definitely has staff that is knowledgeable and intimately knows (no pun intended) the basic and specialty products that they carry. There’s lots of items that I had questions on and their staff was mature, attentive and more than happy to help explain stuff that can always be a bit embarrassing for some. There’s even a book/​education shelf that has helpful reading material! I’ll definitely be back.

This is my go-​to sex store in Seattle for anyone who is looking for incredible local resources, a variety of lingerie, fantastic literature, and *real* kink supplies (not the cheap knock-​off floggers from China). The staff is not only knowledgeable but also passionate about sex-​positive education and community resources.

Living in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, I discovered Wild At Heart a number of years ago, and have been delighted to both shop — and browse — often at their wonderful store! The owners and the staff are all lovely and helpful, while not being intrusive or overbearing like some other sex toy shops. One of their best assets — the store is bright and light and spacious, even though they’ve got a TON of merchandise. It’s a really comfortable shopping experience.
They have the latest and greatest sex toys and have items that will make both newbies and experienced shoppers happy. And they have a wide variety of locally-​made products — and I’m all for small businesses that support other small businesses! Yay for that!
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that the Wild at Heart employees are also really knowledgeable and empathetic — I’ve recently gone through breast cancer treatments, and they’ve helped me get to know new product lines, especially with their wide variety of lubes. I’ve considered Wild at Heart a huge part of my post-​chemo/​post-​radiation treatment plan! And we’re so lucky they’re local!
I highly recommend you make a visit to Wild at Heart soon! Even if it’s just to browse! I’m betting you’ll find something you like (and or need!!) in your price range! Happy shopping!

Good selection, very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The girl behind the counter was super helpful! I came in looking for vibrators and she let us know how they organize their stock, where to look for higher end vs lower end vibes, etc. Most of the vibrators I looked at had a sample out so you could test the vibration strength (major plus), and the girl mentioned that if there were ones I wanted to test but didn’t have a sample she’d be happy to take them out of the box for me.
Overall such a great selection and a beautiful shop! I definitely left with more than I expected to and will be back again for more.

Enjoyed going to WAH the other day, the lady behind the counter was attentive and very helpful. They have an awesome array of. goods ranging from beginner to advanced which was incredible! Ended up leaving with a ton of new things that im all too excited to try out.

I have been to the shop around 5 times, and the selection and service has always been great.
Today I came to the store at 12:05 (5 minutes after they were supposed to open) and they were still closed. I figured they hadn’t finished opening so I stuck around. I waited around 20 minutes, knocking occasionally, no luck. Pretty frustrating to have wasted my time. Not sure if I will be back.

A little bit of everything you would expect in an adult store. The staff is friendly, informed and approachable if you have questions about anything. Great selection of lingerie too!!!

I started visiting Wild at Heart almost two years ago. They continue to update their store both physically as well as the staff knowledge. I’ve been in other stores before but they always felt a little cheesy and obvious. wild at heart is both classy and loaded with tons of great stuff. They have the normal things you might be looking but they also carry local artists product. There BDSM section is great!!! I could go on and on about this store but I think you should check it out for yourself, you won’t be sorry :)

This is the best sex shop in Seattle in my opinion. They have a pretty good selection and it feels good to support local business. I always feel so comfortable going here by myself or with my husband. We went here today to purchase a Lelo product and Amy was super nice and helpful with all of my questions.

What joyful fun. I love Babeland, but I love having an alternative too. Both places are lovely. This establishment sets itself apart with playful display, a sense of humor, respect and love for women, and sense of healthy frolic. There’s no feel of «behind the curtain over there», and a great mix of educational books and magazines, along with all sorts of things I wouldn’t even know to imagine. That’s what I want in a sex shop. I highly recommend this store as a Christmas shopping site, particularly with regard to stocking stuffers. There are all kinds of amusing things to stuff into stockings, here. Including stockings. Really nice, antic selection of lingerie, leather, accessories, etc. Probably the most important thing about how it feels to be in this store has to do with the employees and their helpful, open, pleasant attitude — wonderful. I won’t tell you exactly what I went in shopping for — let’s just say that I found it, and it is grand. I bought some other groovy stuff too.

Very neat and well organized. Just went there yesterday with my boyfriend and the woman who worked there was very helpful. She was well informed about all of the products and made us feel comfortable. There’s a great selection of Leather apparel if you’re into that ;)

Quality is the key word for this store. QUALITY.
Most of the shops I’ve been to have a ton of cheesy bachelorette party supplies, lots of videos, and not much… ahem…functional merchandise. This store was the opposite — tiny section of party supplies, a corner of videos, and the rest is chalk full of high quality usin’ gear. They have stuff that I never would have imagined existed.
The ladies who work there are all very helpful and nice to talk to if you need advice or recommendations.

Sometimes you just need to go to an adult toy store. Babeland used to be my go to but now that I live north of Seattle it is just a bit too out of the way. Wild at Heart is still a bit of a drive but they have a parking lot and that alone makes it worth going to them over capital hill.
This place has a really awesome selection of toys, movies, books and more. I like that they carry several lines of bdsm items made by local artisans which are both beautiful and really unique. Oh they even have these wooden shackles: wrist cuffs, foot cuffs, neck & wrist cuffs, etc. that you can have made to order to the measurements you need. Totally worth it if you are looking for unique bdsm supplies.
Plus the staff has always been welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy.
Highly recommend coming to check this place out!

As a gentleman who just walks in, nay did I feel unwelcomed. I didn’t catch her name but the dark-​haired with neat glasses was very kind, professional and offered me copious samplings of the recommended lubes I was checking out — dang, my upper hand sure was ready for some. Did I mention her glasses? :D
