Enchanted Cottages

We stayed three nights in the Captain’s Quarters. It’s an upstairs queen bedroom with a seperate kitchen and bathroom (w/​a large claw foot tub). It was perfect for the two of us. Nautically appointed in the most stylish manor. We met one of the owners (Virgil) and he very cordial. He helped us with suggestions for sightseeing and dining. We would love to return in the near future.

We loved The Hollyhock cottage. It is so cozy and comfortable. Virgil and his wife have spent some thoughtful time making this cottage cute and charming. Virgil is more than attentive and helpful.

Super cute inside and out. We loved the outdoor seating area, it was so peaceful and a great space to sit and relax. The inside was perfect and so comfortable. The owners are very personable and helpful. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

I was in Long Beach for a family reunion, and my parents stayed in the unit downstairs on the same weekend. So I got a very good feel for both units, and they are BOTH absolutely charming, exquisitely maintained, and wonderfully warm and cozy.
The biggest reason I would recommend this place, though, is the owners/​managers, Virgil and Trisha. They were not just friendly and chatted with us every time they saw us, but were beyond accommodating — seriously, sometimes shockingly so – with every single thing we needed. I have stayed on the Washington Coast many times, and no other time compares to this, thanks to these two people and their fantastic accommodations. They are the sole reason I want to come back to Long Beach again, and when I do, this is where I will stay!
