Beck is a fabulous hair stylist. She has always given me just the right haircut. If I’m in the mood for color, she knows just what to do. I have always come out of her salon happy as can be! Thank you, Beck for all the fine work. And she is a kind, wonderful human being as well!

I adore this this little salon/​art gallery. Rachel is fabulous. I have really long/​fine hair. She does fabulous highlights and cuts. There’s been times when I’ve been able to wait over two months for a touch up because the cut and color grew out beautifully.

Audra cut my hair, it was fantastic. She gave me her professional opinion, was precise and took her time. Plus, she is open on Mondays, Wohoo! Her art work is what brought me to the Gallery. All around a great experience. She specializes in men’s and short haircuts. Thanks Audra!

Pay no attention to the disgruntled review regarding this establishment giving «barbershop cuts». I met the Cutler family years ago, and had recently heard Bill’s daughter, Rachel, was doing hair. I have been to many salons in my lifetime, but this one is by far my favorite.
Rachel is sweet, professional and very talented. I have long hair, and am very cautious about cutting it. Rachel understood my fear of getting my hair cut, gave me great long layers, and cleaned up the ends. I left the salon looking fabulous and was super pleased. The environment is peaceful, and sophisticated. I highly recommend this establishment.

Bill Cutler is a genius with hair and also really fun to be around. He understands how to pick the most flattering haircut and his paintings are gorgeous!

I searched for a long time to find a good hairdresser in this county and even avoided getting haircuts out of fear (after several truly bad ones). A friend (with consistantly gorgeous hair) recommended Rachel to me.
I have never had a better cut in my life. She poured over photos with me and was patient as I explained that I wanted haircuts that my fine, wavy hair would never do. We worked out a compromise and she went to work.
Amazing. My hair never looked better. She somehow managed to make it look thicker and worked with the waves, rather than telling me to straighten every day like every other hair stylist had. She gave me the exact cut I wanted but I had no idea I wanted it. She is truly a magical hair wizard!!!

Cutler Gallery is both a studio and a salon for men and women. The place is clean and tidy and there’s usually some awesome groovy jazz on the stereo. There’s plenty of artwork to look at while you wait or while your getting your hair cut as Bill Cutler uses the space to paint when he’s not cutting hair.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Bill for over 3 years now and I won’t let anyone else even try. I constantly get comments on my hair cut and am more than happy to recommend this place to anyone in need of a trim or a completely new style. Call ahead if you want to make a specific reservation or just walk in and see what’s happening.

Rachel is amazing. She listens to what YOU want, and thoroughly analyzes hair and makes miracles happen! She is on the «cutting» edge of how to cut hair in modern cuts, that work even on my thin, fine hair.
When she later colored my hair, she was sooo attentive. She didn’t set my under a dryer and forget about me, I was in her chair the whole duration, as she every few minutes, checked on the progress and felt it was the right time for a rinse.
She is great at hair, she is sweet and caring to what you what, she is professional and her years of experience growing up (3^rd generation) with hairstylists, plus her extensive learning from a mentor in San Diego, makes her the best I’ve found in a very long time (and I’m no Spring Chick)!

I was so happy to stumble across Rachel, her father being the person who had given me my first haircut when I was 14 years old I thought to give him a try to find out she was there so I went with it. I agree with all these reviews, she is fantastic! I referred her to three people and every single one of them LOVED her and their hair style. Even the most picky of my friends… so you know she is something to Unilocal about.

Rachel is simply amazing! I had been going to a very high end salon in Sausalito for 8 years and decided it was time to find someone closer to home. I tried several of the local hairstyling salons but always ended up disappointed. Wow, what a breath of fresh air Rachel is. She is artistic, honest, reasonably priced and truly listens to what YOU want. I get cut and full highlights. The whole experience is positive. And if you are like me — very, very picky about their hair — you will be as overjoyed as I was to find Rachel. She is a gem. Just don’t tell too many people — we don’t want her to get overbooked! ;-)
