I’ve been having my haircuts done by Nevuah for almost two years. I had been referred to her by a dear friend of mine because my original hairdresser had moved out of state — it had been a little over a year since my last haircut, so my hair at that time was super damaged, dry, coarse, all in all, not healthy! I love my hair long but I had to make the decision to cut a good chunk of it to nourish it back to health. When I first met Nevuah, she listened to me, made recommendations, and ultimately gave me a nice shoulder length haircut(it was a drastic move for me — but it was too cute, that it didn’t feel that way!) I continue to have my haircuts done by Nevuah, she’s simply an amazing professional. My goal is to go back to my original length(almost there!) and have a «V» shape… A couple of haircuts ago I told Nevuah about this and every single time I go now, she has been shaping it little by little. I’m happy to say that my hair is now healthy, smooth, and has a nice shine. My haircut price is $ 75.00 — and it’s totally worth it! The studio itself has a welcoming feel, open space that exhibits purity, and the team atmosphere is definitely one of a kind! You’ll always be greeted kindly and be offered water or tea.

I was given a referral by a friend to Reframe Hair Gallery. Living in Marin, Sebastopol was not the area I wanted to travel but they’d received so many great reviews, I decided to check them out. I had the pleasure of seeing two gals on my visit. I met with Dakota first for highlights. First let me say she is awesome. Personality plus. I just loved her. I felt like she understood and heard what I was asking for and hoping to achieve. After I was finished up there… over to the shampoo station LOVE hair washing time! Little scalp massage, deep conditioner and now I’m ready for my cut. Nevuah asked a few questions, got some feedback about my current likes and dislikes and she started snipping away. I sat with my eyes closed for most of it. Part of me was a little scared, okay a lot. I hate trying new places and if it’s bad, IT’S BAD! Six weeks of hats. When she was done cutting, blow dry I opened my eyes. I was so happy with both. The cut was super cute, like way cute. Flow-y and fun. She did an amazing job. The color. Gorgeous. Dakota had to foil the hell out of my red tresses but nailed the champagne blonde I was looking for. I was so overwhelmed I thought I was going cry. hahaha So elated. Held it together ;) Go see them! And show them my

The salon itself is gorgeous. Super high ceilings and beautiful décor. They also carry Davines hair products which has an amazing line. I had an appointment with Dakota a couple of weeks ago. She did an AMAZING job on my blonde ballayage. I just love it. Its so well blended and incredibly soft looking. Great job.

I have been so happy with Nevuah since I starting going to her 2 years ago. The first time I met her I had long hair and was tired of it and asked her to cut it short. She didn’t get worried, she just talked to me about whether the styles I liked would work on me and she went for it. She is very skilled and did a great job; I get compliments all the time on my cut(thanks to her). Love the changing art gallery and décor as well!

I have gone in twice now for a haircut from Nevuah. She is awesome. My wife also went in for a color from Dakota and loved it. Reframe is our go-to place for hair.

Reframe is a lovely salon. I have seen Miss Dakota three times now for various cut & color things and I’m always happy when I leave. I highly recommend.

I wanted to go here because of all the good reviews. I did not have that experience. I went there and paid basically $ 300 for a color correction(I forget who did my color) my San Diego hair stylist could of done for $ 150. She could not believe what they charged me. I asked for balayage and instead she gave me brown with 90s blonde streaks. Nevuah spent maybe 10 minutes cutting my hair. I asked if this was considered a trim because she spent so little time on it. When I was getting rung up for my $ 300 haircut/color I got glaring glances from her. When I went back down to my San Diego hairstylist she showed me that the colorist did an extremely lazy version of highlighting my hair. I basically had polka dot highlights. I tried to make small talk about my hair because I’m really insecure of a thyroid problem(makes your hair super brittle), and instead of being sympathetic she asked what kind of conditioner I used. Overpriced, snooty, and lazy.

Nevuah is hit-or-miss. I had a good haircut the first time, went back for my next($ 75) and it was so bad I had to wear it up til it grew out. I asked for subtle, long layers to reduce volume. She cut my curly hair 2 inches shorter in the front and cut it blunt in the back, then styled it so I looked like I was wearing a powder wig, no exaggerating. Victorian doll curls and all. I wear it wavy anyway, but she didn’t ask. I would not advise having any high-dollar treatments done here. At least one of the stylists cuts corners & they don’t stand behind their work. I had a keratin treatment done here that didn’t take. I showed my hair to another stylist who told me it didn’t look like a keratin treatment had been done on my hair and when I described the process they told me that it sounded like it had been done incorrectly. I contacted the salon & asked to speak with the stylist(didn’t want to get her in trouble), but she never contacted me. Many salons will give both a refund & a redo, but Reframe has a strict no refund policy and offered me a complimentary $ 50 conditioning treatment to make up for my wasted $ 400 on that keratin treatment.

Dakota did my color and she was amazing as well! Since I have super dark Asian hair the color took longer to penetrate into my hair than normal. But I am soo happy with the end results!

We saw Dakota. She cut both my kids’ hair and did a beautiful job. Really great cuts. Super cute. Dakota has a great bedside manner – kind, engaging and a good listener(re. hair cutting requests). You’ll be pleased with her workwomanship. I’d go to her were it not for me already going to a hairdresser I really like already. I like Dakota’s work enough I would consider a switch of hairdressers. The whole vibe at ReFrame is nice. Friendly and casual.

Dakota is the best! She’s been cutting my difficult cowlick filled hair for over a year now and I’ve never left unhappy. She listened to my concerns from the get go and always asks questions to make sure we’re on the same page. She’s easy to talk to and always bright and cheery which makes getting your hair cut something to look forward to. Her fade is always spot on too. Check out my profile picture for an example of her skills. So what are you waiting for? Go see Dakota for your next cut.

Dakota is an amazing hair stylist that has been doing my hair for a few years now. Her cut and color is always fantastic! I really appreciate the time she takes to figure out what I want. She excels at the consultation piece, which I feel is key in getting your hairs did. Also she is always up for giving my super straight hair sassy beachy waves! Dakota is also just super cheery and easy to talk to. I always look forward to getting my hair done. When is the last time you felt that way?! Even though I have straight hair, I know she is awesome at cutting curly hair because A. I SEENT it and B. She’s got curly hair herself that makes me super jealous. Go see Dakota!

Everyone has off days, which is why I returned to ReFrame, to give Neuvah another chance. I had read all the great reviews and really wanted to be their client. I spoke with the receptionist about my very lame experience and poor cut, and left my number thinking Neuvah would give me a call, but she never did. Very disappointing.

I have problem hair. It’s wavy in parts, curly in parts, kind of frizzy, and I deal with thinning hair related to medical issues. So my hair is a very sensitive subject. When I moved to Sonoma County I knew I needed to find a new stylist, but was concerned about whether I’d be able to find someone who could handle my hair. I happened into Reframe Hair Gallery one day and got a cut from Nevuah. I was *so* delighted with every aspect of the experience — her beautiful, light-filled salon; the easy and fun conversation; and of course, the amazing hair cut. Every time I walk out of Reframe I feel a huge boost in my confidence. Nevuah is a true professional, and uses her skill and expertise to work with my funky hair situation in a way that few others can do. I am so thankful that I found Nevuah and Reframe Hair Gallery!

I have had the same hair stylist for 10 years in Berkeley, but since I moved to Sonoma County, I decided to seek out someone more local. I read very positive reviews of Nevuah on Unilocal and decided to book a haircut. Note: This occurred a few months ago and I have been reluctant to leave a negative review, because I don’t want to be mean, but after my neighbor had a similar experience, decided to go ahead and leave feedback. First, I have curly hair and brought in a photo of the curly hair style I had and wanted to keep. I have seen my hair cut many times, and I was a bit baffled, because she hardly did ANYTHING! A couple slices and snips, and 20 minutes later I was out. And the cuts were randomly weird that misshaped the curls. Second, she never smiled. Her affect was blank and robotic. Third, the haircut cost me $ 85.00. I felt robbed. This weekend, my neighbor told me she just got a terrible haircut that cost way too much. I asked where she went and it turns out she went to the same stylist. Hence, I decided, to leave this review today.

Emily Hunt is the best hair colorist! She was able to take my hair from deep red to ash blonde in two sittings, with my hair still happy and healthy! She is fabulous and has great energy! Thanks again Emily!

I came here for the first time last summer, in desperate need of a cut and someone to fix my grown out faded home dye job. Avena did a fantastic job cutting my hair exactly how I like it, and getting the color and highlights absolutely perfect and natural looking. I have been back to see her twice, and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Avena at Reframe Hair Gallery!

Leslie Richardson is by far the best colorist in Sonoma county! I work in the industry and know quality work and she has the touch! Always ahead of the color trends, she takes the time to make sure it’s perfect, and is just so sweet! Her cuts are always amazing and she gives a killer blow out! You’ve got to book with Leslie!
