The guy who picked up the phone was an ass! I asked him how long a pedicure usually lasts so I could plan my day. He says to me «you have had pedicures in your life before right? don’t you know how long it takes!!!» What a jack ass!!! If this is the phone guy I can’t imagine what the place is like!

Dirty little place stuck into the back corner of The Meadows Plaza. Brought my 13 year old granddaughter in to simply get her ends trimmed ended up with a charge of $ 50 with an admonition that running the credit card for the service does not include a tip. Absolutely ridiculous prices. Avoid this at all costs

I walk in and place is empty, I have to look for a person, I have to ask the cost of a haircut. The site says haircuts for men $ 18 and up(I don’t have much hair) they say $ 25 and $ 18 is for men with alopecia… are you kidding me… I tell the guy about Unilocal and he smiles and shrugs his head. But he did say have a nice day… When you don’t have a vested interest in the business you could care less. P. s they say they beat retail chains… really? Dude we are talking a quick cut.

Went for my first time today and walked out with a giant smile on my face ! Thanks to Tashia(sorry if I’m spelling it wrong) what an amazing person. I have alopecia areata which causes me to have some hair loss. Before going in I had no confidence until Tashia helped. She knew exactly what I was dealing with and told me different ways to style my hair and she cut it so my hair wouldn’t show where i had loss the hair. She gave me amazing advice and didn’t treat me as just a paying customer. I will definitely go back and consider if your in the area and want your hair cut and styled this is the place ! Thanks again Tashia !

Just got my hair cut again by NIKO. And he threaded my eye brows. He never disappoints! Staff is always great and the salon is so clean. Owner Rob is fantastic, and truly cares about his staff, customers, and salon. Love this place! Thank you, Niko and Rob!

I know I’ve reviewed this salon before, but I have been here a few times now and am still amazed at the quality and artistry of the services I get. Sachiko is a genius with color and her artistic eye doesn’t let her settle for anything but a perfect result. I added a haircut this time, and, again, Sachiko just wowed me. Such care and attention to every detail. My hair looks great!

Walk in cut with Saichko Great cut! She took her time in detail due to my straight hair. Convenience for me at work

Be careful of this place. They pray on those staying at the hotel next door that arent familar with the area and their bad practices. The owner makes up his own prices after the services are preformed and writes it on a tiny slip of paper to hand to you. When questioned about the difference in pricing than what was advertised and initally stated, the owner, Robert, acts like a fruit loop without a solid answer but is instead very insulting to clients. He hurls a couple insults as well as some pretty far fetched irrelevant statements. Very bad business practices.

Awesome haircut by Niko. He has incredible attention to detail and took over an hour for a mans haircut. He was so meticulous and professional I was very impressed. I will definitely go back to him

If you want to forget what a bad hair day is visit this place. I did Japanese straightening here for a few weeks ago. Also, I got light haircut and couple brilliant advices how to take care about my thin, fragile, frizzy hair and which products better to use for it. Now my hair shine, soft and manageable! Want to say thank you for professionalism and friendliness to Noriko, who spent almost whole day with me and to Rob who gave me very detailed direction by phone :) You guys deserve good clients and prosperity. Good luck and see you soon!

I hate to give a bad review because my stylist really tried, but I received one of the worst cuts ever just a few days ago. I have extremely curly hair and the stylist cut it dry without any layers– just a blunt cut on the ends. It looked ok while blown out, but now curly it doesn’t fall the way it should. It’s incredibly puffy and I’m so disappointed. I really wouldn’t trust this place. Oh, and I agree with another poster about creepy guy at the desk… Again, really feel badly because most everyone there was super nice — I just look ridiculous.

Noriko was awesome. Probably the most friendly hairstylist I’ve ever had. I got a cute layered cut that fits my low-maintenance lifestyle. Even though I’m most likely moving from the Hudson County area in the near future, I would definitely come back if I’m in the area. Note to those trying to figure out where this place is: It’s tucked in the shops in Harmon Meadow. Your best bet is to park by Red Lobster or the theater and walk over.

This place is great only because of the people who work there. I have been going to this place for a year now and have tried couple stylists. Rania is one of the best and I’ve found her to have the most passion. She takes pride in delivering a great service along with an amazing haircut. Side note: The guy sitting on the counter is creepy and always is starring for no reason. I find him very suspicious and/or über creepy.

Had heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place so wasnt sure what I was walking into but took a chance. However, just got my haircut by Sachiko and I give her 2 thumbs up. She was very sweet, patient and professional. She was also highly skilled and understood what I wanted. I have naturally curly hair so finding someone who knows what they are doing is tough, but she nailed it. I highly recommend her and think she is totally a hidden gem when it comes to hair. I will definitely be returning to have her cut my hair. ;) Thanks Sachiko!

Needed a haircut and this place is so close to my house. I didn’t make an appointment and was taken right away. Rania did an amazing job and was super nice. I will definitely be going back!!!

Great place for nails! Suzie gave the best gel manicure that I have ever had. She is nice and friendly and gives a very relaxing hand massage. Highly recommend!

Sachico is an amazing artist. I highly recommend going to her for cut and color. My highlights are incredibly natural looking and my hair is very healthy! I also love their online website and email reminder system. My wife has been going to her for 3 years and recommend her often to friends!

I went to this salon as it was the closest one to the hotel I was staying at. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had… painful and slow. Definitely don’t go with a friend as there was only one person performing pedicures despite the 2 chairs. The person at the front made it sound like we could both get pedicures at the same time and be done in 30 minutes… Try an hour and 15 minutes later after she made me bleed and did not apologize…

Omg let me just say this is the worst manicure ever. The people here are nice but my nails look awful. I’m hanging out at the plaza cause I have some time to kill. I see a sandwich board saying that this place does manis. Awesome, I walk over and they take me in with no appointment. The girl who did my nails was sweet as ever but the whole thing was all wrong. She started off by taking off my nail polish, removing only a fraction of polish from my nails. Then she gets this cuticle remover and starts scraping around the cuticle bed and it was rough! I winced to myself cause I thought she was gonna make me bleed. She then goes to put lotion on and can’t get the pump to work. I’m thinking to myself, when’s the last time they even did a mani? The lotion bottle pump didn’t work nor did the acetone pump. She puts lotion on my hands and then wipes my nails off with a DRY towel. No alcohol or acetone on it to make sure I had no oily residue on my nails to ensure the polish will adhere. And please tell me why the nail polish was so gloppy and thick? I have bubbles, ridging and dents in my nails. I might as well have let a 2 year old paint my nails blindfolded. By the time she was done I didn’t even want to wait for my nails to dry. I just paid the $ 15 and booked it outta there.
