This restaurant has one of the best views in Sedona. Food is created to perfection and it tastes great. I dined here with my family. Many vegetarian options, I had cheese ravioli which was super yummy, made in a ricotta lemon butter sauce topped with asparagus. My husband had halibut and it was great. Good choices for kids meals. For dessert we had tiramisu which wasn’t very good. It taste more like a chocolate cake with coffee flavored cream. If you love tiramisu, I wouldn’t recommend this. The reason for 3 star review is we had a terrible server, James. He seemed very arrogant and had a «I don’t care» attitude. We ordered a bottle of wine, which we mostly refilled ourselves. He barely came to check upon us. Finally when he got our check, he charged me $ 7 extra for kids drink. I told him kids drink was included with their food. He said«is it? How do I know?» He got the corrected check which now had no total on it!!! It was bizzare. So I had him fix that. He finally brings me a check and it now has the extra charge for kids drinks again! Are you kidding me? Don’t you double check prior to giving it to a customer who has already sent the check back 3 times. He didn’t seem to care. I had to request the manager to finally fix it. I would recommend this restaurant as long as James is not your server. The rest of the staff is very good, the guys who got our food and refilled water were excellent.

The food is very bad. Service and views are good. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. For the price it’s just not worth it.

My husband and I ate here on our second night in Sedona because we were staying at Enchantment Resort. The bread that was brought to the table was flakey and light and served with a chive butter. We started with the meat board which had four different meats, several cheeses, chutney, two mustards, grapes, toast, and fermented vegetables. This was one of the best meat board I have ever had. Our next course was soup. I had the lobster bisque(a must) and my husband ordered the cream of broccoli. Both soups were light and flavorful. For the entrée my husband ordered the chicken which he enjoyed and I had the filet which was fine I was just too full to finish. Che-Ah-Chi is a fine choice if you are staying at Enchantment, however, I would not make the drive to this restaurant if I were staying somewhere else.

Good food and our server was very nice but besides our server the service is very unprofessional. The blonde hostess was particularly rude. We walked up to her to tell her about our reservation and she responds«ok go take a seat» without any indication where to sit or telling us where to get a drink. She later came to our table and handed us a bill that wasn’t ours and didn’t apologize after taking it away. She acted as if it was our fault. My tuna was very good but a bit salty. The food was definitely better than I expected but it is very pricey and the service does not generally match.

The view is magnificent; the restaurant is beautiful and the wait staff try very hard to please. It was Valentine’s Day and there were issues. Nancy Powell is the restaurant manager and I thought it only fair to share my complaints with her. She went above any expectation to address those concerns. Enchantment is very lucky to have her.

We had dinner there last night. The view is a killer. I had the onion soap special appetizer and could not finish. Way to salty. I do not use salt so my taste buds are a little sensitive. The rest of the meal was expensive and good but not great. When you ask top dollar for dinner I hold you to high standards. I will go back and probably stay with the specials for the night. My wife enjoyed her dish but like me good just not great.

After all the photos and some of the reviews, I was bummed with our experience here. Luckily, Sedona is so stunning that I was able to shrug it off pretty quickly. But, not quickly enough to not let other people know! The resort itself looks amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and has panoramic views of the breathtaking red rocks. That is where things stopped being awesome. We were there for a lovely weekend brunch. The place was dead. This should have been an important detail for us. Alas, we were there already. The service was pretty bad, especially considering how not busy they were and considering the element of fine dining conveyed by the website and the prices. Brunch is meant to be accompanied by bottomless sparkling wine or mimosas. We had to ask about it with the server making it seem like we were putting him out. The sparkling was, of course, not good quality; that seems par for the course with included sparkling. Worse than that, however, was its temperature. It was full-on warm. It wasn’t warm outside, so there’s no reason at all for the sparkling to be warm, except for a lack of any concern for details. An order of any of the brunch entrees(which we both got) also came with a ‘bread basket’ of both traditional and sweet breads. Again, we had to ask for it, with our server making it seem like he was put out. The chocolate croissant was tasty for sure, but the meal as a whole was ‘soured,’ so to speak by the terrible service. Our brunch entrees were fine. Nothing to complain about; nothing to write home about. But, for these prices, let’s step it up. When you’re not busy, let’s have a semblance of service. You have neither great food nor great service? Then, what? You’re just banking on ripping people off because of the great views?! Well, not on my watch, Che-Ah-Chi! Sedona has equal opportunity great views. Save your money and your driving time and go to one of 10 other places!

Don’t waste your money here. Much better restaurants at Enchantment and in Sedona. Even though we were staying at the resort and had reservations, the hostess successfully ruined our experience. She made us wait one hour to dine even though the restaurant was deserted. Food was good, but certainly not a five star experience!

Go for the views from the restaurant, unfortunately not for the food or service. Both were average at best and the prices are high. The views on the other hand are spectacular! Well worth a look if you are not staying at the resort.

Three nights in a row I enjoyed the chefs pasta plates. Enjoyable but not exceptional as I was expecting. My boyfriend tried the scallops and though they were good, not crazy tasty as we have had other places. The view is exceptional. Service is excellent which makes it worth a visit!

We look forward once a year or more to visiting Che-ah-Chi for an «enchanting» Sunday brunch. We were anticipating this experience again on October 11. We made a special trip to Sedona primarily for this purpose. What a disappointment. Apparently you have changed the Sunday Brunch experience sometime within the last year since we last dined with you. The changes have not been for the better. We were very disappointed that you have changed your all-in-one brunch buffet to an ala carte menu with a small buffet with limited items. Whose bright idea was this? We always looked forward to the wonderful display of buffet items and desserts all for one price. On our October 11 visit we reluctantly went with the buffet however I had already ordered a Mimosa which I customarily drank when we dined for your Sunday brunch in the past. I was shocked that it was not included with the buffet and it was hardly worth the $ 10 price tag. The buffet was terrible. Nothing special at all. The scrambled eggs appear to be reconstituted from dry mix. Awful! What happened to your omelet station, roast beef station, crab legs, shrimp on ice etc. Very disappointing. Instead of an «enchanting experience» we had a «run of the mill» breakfast buffet which we could get anywhere. Nothing special at all. Needless to say our October 11 visit will be our last to Che-ah-Chi. Unless you bring back your outstanding Sunday Brunch as it used to be, you won’t be seeing us again. Very unfortunate and disappointing. You should fire whoever the«brilliant» person was who made that decision.

Dinner at Che-Ah-Chi was the perfect ending to our long hot August day venturing around Sedona. The food and service is a 4, but the view is a 6. You wouldn’t want to miss the stunning location while in Sedona, especially around sunset. The lobster bisque was terrific!

Husband and I are staying here for some much needed R&R. Decided to stay on property for breakfast this morning. We opted out of the breakfast buffet because –a) it did not look appetizing, especially the trays of food with no coverings and b) $ 24.50 /person seemed quite steep. Now the view is fantastic so worth some up charge, agreed. I opted for the Huevos Rancheros and hubby had the Arizona Omelette. Hands down, Mine was the best. Just the right amount of spice for breakfast, everything cooked great. Service is a bit slow, but we are in no hurry this week. All in all ended up being $ 51 in total so you’ll pay $ 25/person anyway unless you have some hotel package. Just coffee to drink, hadn’t moved on to the Mimosas yet! Now on to dinner, at which point this moved to five stars. First; don’t miss the lobster bisque, $ 8 for a cup but you won’t regret it. Cognac whip on top and mushrooms/chunks of lobster? Heaven in your mouth. Next we did the Burrata– check out my picture. Build it, toast, Burrata, prosciutto, Apricots, then drip the honey on top. OMG amazing. We finished with the Alaskan Halibut and the mushrooms. The Halibut was great, the mushrooms were good(we were told chef picks these somewhere on his own). Very good meal, service by Connie and team was excellent and boy, you can’t beat the view. We each had one glass of Pinot Grigio, total bill $ 116 before tip.

We went at Sunset to have dinner and sat out side with perfect weather. The customer service and our waiter was amazing recommending a lot of things that he liked and are exclusive to Sedona. He checked in on us very frequently to see how everything was going. The food was really good had the house made pasta with Alaskan halibut and fettuccine with chicken. They have an amazing selection of wine also. If your are staying at the resort definitely recommend having dinner here.

Food was clean and good. Service was on par, but I expected it to be better. When we asked for a wine pairing with lamb, we were not expecting to hear«well just about any red wine we have». It just sounded so generic and boring. Top dollar resort should house top dollar service that’s full of knowledge. Aside from this incident, everything else was fine.

Absolutely horrible service. Seated inside with many open tables. We could tell they were waiting for a large party as a server asked to remove chairs from our table. That was the only server to approach until a bus person came by and asked if we had been greeted. We said no, and she returned with water. When we asked how she was this evening, she replied,“well I’m working”. Not what I expect out of this type of resort or restaurant. Did not have the chance to eat as we left after we were not even approached by a server for 10 minutes as 6 – 8 servers walked by continually. Had the Manager watch us walk out and thank us for dining. She didn’t even notice our table had nothing on it besides water. Great oversight. Consequently, sat in the patio and watched the large party come in and get a wonderful greeting with laughs. Given my husband and I both worked in Foodservice for several years, we understand what it takes to be successful. It is 70% experience and 30% food. This place has disappointed greatly.

We had breakfast here and ordered the Huevos Rancheros + the Waffle with Strawberries, whipped cream and a glazed banana. The Huevos were about what you would expect. Heavy on the beans with a couple eggs and avocado. The refried beans overpowered all the other ingredients. So-so. The waffle is a MUST exactly as it comes. It was unhealthy but outstanding — maybe the best waffle I’ve ever had. The whipped cream(vanilla bean?) and banana really push this one into another world.

Wonderful experience. First, the location is amazing. It was raining the night we went and we still had a great view. Our server was fantastic. I had a cocktail«the original» — it was outstanding. I started with the baby beets and my aunts had the lobster bisque — they we’re delicious. Everyone in our party had the filet which was perfectly cooked and delicious. We were stuffed at the end but managed to split a piece of the chocolate torte. Although the torte was good, our whole group wished the dessert menu had more options. Overall a great night. Can’t wait until I visit Sedona and Enchantment again!

Disappointment at dinner but breakfast was better. This is the signature restaurant at The Enchantment and expected a lot and did not get it. Staff very friendly and attentive, after one day know you by name. We had breakfast here every day and found what ever we ordered to be well prepared, presented well and tasty. Dinner another story. Seated promptly by friendly staff. Took our severs recommendations for our entrees. Fish over cooked, dry and tasteless. Prime aged sirloin very little flavor even with the sauce, the kale on top could not be cut with a steak knife. Youngest thought the chicken tenders only OK. Oldest said her filet was good. We expected much more and left feeling we had paid way to much for a less than average meal. This beautiful setting could stand so more in the kitchen.

Absolutely fantastic! Wife and I had a phenomenal dinner here! The setting, service, and most important the food was awesome! Set right smack dab in the middle of the red rocks, it couldn’t have been more unique and beautiful. Very romantic. We started with squash blossoms and they were very good. Then we split the beet salad(very generous portions on the split) that was a unique, colorful, and delicious starter. The entrées took it from very good to absolutely great! The rack of lamb was seriously the best I’d ever had! Moist, tender, flavorful. All you could ask for! Wife had the Wagyu beef. Also fantastic! Our plates were practically licked clean. I would most definitely return for another nice dinner and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. FANTASTIC! …we also had 2 breakfasts here — also very good! But the dinner is the highlight of the restaurant for sure :)
