5 stars for the view. The Doe Mountain trail is quick 1.5 hour hike in West Sedona. In context to difficulty it is a moderate trail, climbs about 400 feet or so — fairly gradual incline. From the top the views are gorgeous, in the distance you can see Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and Courthouse. The mountain is a table top and hikers can chose to walk around the cliff edges. Highly recommended.

A gorgeous trail with amazing 360 views at the top. I’d say it would take an hour round trip without the photo ops. See photos — it’s a trail not to be missed in West Sedona!

This hike has amazing views when you get to the top. I think this is hands down the best hike around Sedona! its not to hard to do and you get tons of nice views to take some pics

This was my second hike in Sedona and I really enjoyed it. The scenery was amazing and the hike was pretty easy. This is the trail that the Arch is off of and that segway is amazing.

The main reason my husband I come up to Sedona is for the hiking. This trip we decided to check out Doe Mountain and ended up hiking the Aerie and Cockscomb trails which essentially circles Doe Mountain in 5 – 6 miles. The trails were easy-to-moderate in difficulty level and most of the other people we saw on the trails were on mountain bikes, but the trails themselves were not crowded on the Saturday morning we ventured out. The Aerie Trail offers amazing views of the other Mountains and you can even see Jerome in the distance so bring your camera(or phone) as they will be safe on these low difficulty trails!
