The real highlight of this place is that they offer a flat white! Nowhere but Starbucks serves a flat white in this country and I really like that this was on their menu. The menu is extensive and offers a lot of interesting touches. Things like natural peanut butter, leaner breakfast meats, healthier grains, and lots of delicious coffees riddle the menu. This is a great thing as the food and drinks were very enjoyable. The food and drinks are served by some extremely friendly people who seem to enjoy their jobs. They interact with customers(regulars and first timers) on a personal level and make the dining experience fun. These interactions were another highlight of this café. They have plenty of seating options, both inside and outside. They have great views of the rock formations in the area while you are eating and drinking. Overall, this café is great. They offer some unique menu items executed to perfection. The high points are the flat white and the engaging staff. I would highly recommend this café for breakfast while in the Sedona/Oak Creek area.

Good coffee! 8 mins to make a sandwich one of the staff told us, but we waited for 25 mins!

The service was absolutely amazing! I ordered a hot chai latte and I am very picky about my chais but I was very impressed. It wasn’t too sweet and not too spicy and the design on top was absolutely beautiful. I also enjoyed a fresh baked blackberry muffin and it was scrumptious. The seating was very comfy and the atmosphere was very calm and perfect for a relaxing morning tea or coffee. Apparently they are building an ice cream bar? and I am only sad that I wasn’t in town when it was open, but it is definitely just another reason to make another trip back to Sedona! Absolutely would recommend!

Cute little place. Actually it’s not little. There’s a lot of room and tables inside. I didn’t have anything to drink but my wife had vanilla latte liked very much.

Great service and good place for a quick breakfast. We stopped by on the road and the server was really nice! I got the spinach and ricotta croissant and the zucchini pecan cinnamon mini loaf. Both delicious! The croissant was slightly greasy but warm(because they toast it for you!). They have a variety of options and more hot breakfast options if you’re looking for a bagel sandwich or breakfast burrito!

I found this place on Unilocal and book marked it as a place I should stop by when I was in town. For some reason, after using multiple GPS apps I couldn’t seem to find the place easily. But once I did we were good to go. We walk in and there is plenty of space in there and no line. They were really friendly there and the coffee was just okay. They are the kind of coffee shop that likes to add spices to their drinks. And by that I mean nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. My friend ordered a typical drink(can’t recall what is was) but he had been ordering pretty much the same things everywhere we went in AZ. Iced coffee and usually mocha or vanilla and they all taste pretty much the same. However the drink he had was a little off and for me and him personally we thought it was a little gross. We didn’t like that extra spice flavor they added to it. But that was just us, some people might enjoy that. I also wasn’t a fan of a lot of their desserts as there was a lot of vegan things. I’ve tried many vegan items in the past because my coworker is always having me taste food and trying to get me to convert. But I just don’t like the way most vegan items taste. If you’re really into vegan or spices in your iced coffee then I guess this place is for you. It just wasn’t what my guy and I were looking for.

Great spot. Very good coffee(I’d give it 8.5 or even 9 out of ten). I loved chilling in the leather arm chairs by the window with the view to the beautiful red rock mountains. Very well maintained. Friendly staff. Kudos to the owners.

Our favorite coffee and baked goods in Sedona. The freshly baked items are gone by midmorning. Personal favorite is the blackberry pecan muffin. Yum Yum Yum. If you like croissants do not get the chocolate croissant but instead get the plain version. If you like coffee don’t get an ordinary cuppa coffee but instead get an Americano. Very dog friendly if your dog is small and well behaved. They are constructing a new gelato area inside the open expanded space.

Really love this place. They offer Milkademia non GMO vegan milk and its FANTASTIC. Impressed with the interest in gluten free and vegan options for the food section and also the vegan menu options. first Friday night of every month will be open mic night as per the sign, looks like this will become a nice little hub of action, music, art and GREATCOFFEE. Stoked. Highly recommended

We stopped in multiple times while in Sedona. Ordered regular coffee to go, it was fresh, strong(just like I like it). The baked goods were really the best though. The peanut butter cookies were amazing, not too sweet, chewy, just yum! We also had a very good chocolate muffin and a really tasty blueberry scone. This place is a good daily stop for coffee or a treat anytime.

This place is an absolute joke and a Tourist trap to the max. Most unorganized place to get coffee and pastries. They can’t keep up with any orders when they have a single a brew group. Maybe invest in a second espresso machine? That might help speed up the disarray behind the counter. Espressos were sour and just terrible. Color was great and nice crema, but the flavor was out there. My ultimate pet peeve is cold food. And this is the place that gives you your hot food first then wait 10 minutes for your espresso and coffee. Typically, at any coffee shop, food comes after coffee. If your prices are on the high end, at least have a system in place. Drawing flowers on hot chocolate or cappuccinos shouldn’t warrant high prices. If you are nearby, maybe go to the gas station for coffee instead and save your money.

Maybe I have different standards for a coffee shop — others seem to rate this place very highly… here is my perspective: «Tourist trap — new name, worse experience» This used to be a local fav but it’s just gotten too bad to keep looking the other way on the absolutely poor way this business is run… All I can imagine is they capitalize on one-time tourist visits so have little care for the customer experience… Under their new name, things have fallen a lot. Pricing — OMG are they over priced. $ 4.80 for a 16oz latte. Whoa. Their menu board lists milk options without prices. They have prices for other items like syrup and extra shots so the presumption was the high price covered any of their milk options. NOPE! Very unpleasant surprise after waiting 5 minutes in line… $ 1.00 upcharge for soy milk. $ 1.00?! Nice of them to hide this huge upcharge… $ 5.80 for a soy latte… seriously?! Wait times — this place has always been slow and it’s only gotten worse. On our last visit(11a on a Monday) we waited in line for 5 minutes for our order to be taken. And it wasn’t a long line. Then it took them 8 – 9 minutes to prepare 2 lattes. So, about 15 minutes to get in and get out with two lattes. Taste — I used to think the coffee was really good here. So maybe it was the super bitter taste of their new prices and long waits, but they made me miss Starbucks. That’s a first for me as someone who loves the local, independent coffee shop… Noise — Don’t plan on having a pleasant conversation with your companions. Certainly don’t expect to work here(plus their wifi works about 25% of the time). Professionalism — Maybe this is just a pet peeve, but I really don’t like to see staff who are behind the counter eating their personal food. Staff were standing around eating and talking to each other in plain view of customers. I think it just looks unprofessional. Starbucks just opened a new(2nd) store in Sedona proper. Guess it’s worth the drive — literally would save me money even with the extra gas. Long time customer who has made his last visit… Visited December 2015

You guys… I’m picky with coffee shops. But this little place, stole my. Granted, I may have been heavily influenced by Sedona’s over-all majesty(the red rocks get me sentimental). But I truly believe this café to one of the best in AZ! CERTAINLY better than any I’ve been to in PHX! My boyfriend and I made an unplanned stop for hot drinks on our way to a helicopter ride(highly recommend helicopter tours, by the way). The staff was so friendly and helpful. The baked goods are made in-house and they have a full kitchen(hallelujah!). I ordered an americano and oh… my…sweet…Christmas…angels…I almost wept. The espresso was pulled perfectly: rich, roasty, sweet. You may not understand, but americano’s are mah drink. And it’s super rare to be served one that isn’t, well, burnt. If it were even slightly socially acceptable, I would’ve been tempted to kiss the blessed knuckles of the unknowing barista god of an americano crafter. I decided to curtail the risk of social awkwardness and just tipped them a few bucks instead. You get my point. Boyfriend had brewed coffee(no complaints) and a cranberry white chocolate cookie(delish). I had a yummy, mini pumpkin loaf(no complaints). Our second visit, I order hot chocolate(aka a truffle in a cup – it was that good), and a fresh, outta-the-oven zucchini loaf! The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. There are floor-to-ceiling Windows in the front of the shop. All-in-all, one of the best, coziest, delicious coffee dates I’ve had with my favorite guy. THANKYOU Oak Creek Café!

This was my husband and my first time in. I have to say all of the baked goods looked incredibly yummy(we didn’t try any as we were planning on going to dinner In about an hour or so) while we were in line I overheard the young lady at the front desk speaking to the man who was ordering his coffee«I’m Not sure what that Is, fraps are served cold» … Now, normally that’s be fine, but the manner in which she said it was rather rude and if I had been that man I’m not sure if I’d been as nice. Maybe he didn’t know very much about coffee? I just think there was a better way she could have said it without making him look like an idiot. I’m not even sure if she realized how she came off. Just something I observed. I know we aren’t always aware of how we may come off to others so I would say maybe she just needs a little coaching in that area. Anyhow, we ordered our coffee, I got the mocha latte my husband the chai, and they were both outstanding! I’d have given a better review but I’m huge on service. I hope that the next time I’m in I won’t have to observe anything like that.

Nice coffee shop, busy with a beautiful view of Bell Rock just down the road. The coffee was great and a nice selection of breakfast pastries. Enjoying a leisurely drive leaving Sedona and just stopped here to linger just a little longer with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the views.

Firecreek is definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Sedona. The coffee is easily the best in the town. It’s flavorful, a little bitter, and delicious. Their cold brew, which I believe is done overnight, is great. None of that pouring hot coffee over ice like some places do. They also make a mean iced mocha. I’ve never been disappointed in a pastry I’ve gotten there. The muffins are big enough to share and the croissants and scones are fantastic. I’ve never had lunch there, but their breakfast sandwich is consistent and filling(comes with cheddar, onions, spinach, tomato, eggs, your choice of meat and a bagel, and a side of fresh fruit). The service has always been friendly and they really try to remember names and orders if you’re local. Though the atmosphere needs a little work(it was an A&W originally and they have definitely improved the interior design since they opened as Firecreek), it’s worth stopping by if you want a yummy meal or drink in the morning!

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and her parents for coffee. We decided to come here after seeing the sign just outside our hotel saying that the coffee shop was ½ mile away and they roasted their own coffee. For some reason this place doesn’t open up until 6:30AM and we arrived shortly after that. The inside of this place is quite a bit larger than it looks from the street. It has two separate dining rooms, an area to order your coffee with a display case and then a small retail section where you can buy their coffee. What is also nice is that they have a coffee tasting guide hanging up on the wall as well as the profiles of all of their coffees. On this morning I decided to go with my standby, a large Americano. As a coffee snob, it was nice to see that they listed the different types of coffees on a board and on this morning the espresso was a Guatemalan while the drip was a Brazilian. I know I may be asking a bit much but if they went so far as to tell you the country of origin it would also be nice to see the roast that they took it to, whether it be a city roast, full city roast, vienna, etc. After a wait on which I happily saw the barista clean out all of the serving items each time he pulled some new shots, I soon had my coffee. The Americano that I ordered was both smooth and strong with no bitterness at all. Due to that, both my wife and I really enjoyed their coffee! The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I liked how they presented everything here and the coffee was really good too!

Everything we had here was good– cappuccino, iced tea, hot tea. The vanilla chai rooibos was excellent iced and the coconut white tea was also really good. The chipotle brownie, carrot muffin, and blueberry muffin were all amazing. The one con — this place is slow. Almost always had a line and the staff started to forget and mess up orders with the line.
