Hadn’t been to Applebee’s in a long time, took my son there today. Meh. Got a Berry Sangria, which was good, but as someone else on here said, very little alcohol in it. We got an order of mozzarella sticks and they were just ‘okay’… just the hard, kind of cold kind that I don’t really like with hard cheese in them. I’ve had GREAT, soft melty cheese mozzarella sticks at other places which were MUCH better. My son got a bacon cheeseburger, which was good… it was a big burger and cooked properly. I got the Thai Shrimp Salad, and the name fits because it’s a ‘shrimpy’(small) salad for the price(which is $ 11.29)… was at TGIFridays a few days ago and they give you a MUCH bigger, better salad for the same price. The waiter was okay, but he failed to take our dirty plates off the table until the very end of our meal. We had to eat our lunch with old plates from our appetizer on the table… yech. Used to really like Applebee’s, but it’s definitely gone downhill as far as my experience showed. I’ll be spending my money at TGIFridays again in the future.

I go to the Applebee’s in seekonk, Massachusetts with my bf once in a while and we live in providence, RI. We ordered a 2 for 20 $ deal and we got three cheese chicken penne, mozzarella sticks, and the bourbon chicken and shrimp. My boyfriend only ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp for the shrimp and we got home and there was no shrimp. I called the store and told them what happened and she apologized and then put the manager on. He told me my options and I wanted to come back and get a new order, the crispy shrimp. The managers name is Jamin. He was so helpful in every way. When I pulled into the parking lot he was waiting for me at the door he saw me get out of the car and walked outside and asked me if I had the wrong order I said yes and he brought me inside and he gave me the new order with a very good amount of shrimp and fries and sauces. And also gave me my money back for the whole entire order. In My whole entire life I have never seen such great management. He definitely deserves recognition for this. Please thank him for me. Jamin is his name again in the seekonk, Massachusetts store.

I guess you could say I’m a regular at Applebee’s. My husband and I usually spilt the two for $ 20 meal. The service is usually good and the food is consistent. I’ve never had any issues except last night. We sat at the bar which we never do and were pretty much ignored by the bartender. I found it hard to get her attention. I’m sure this isn’t a normal every day situation at the bar and I would still recommend Applebee’s!

Always a great burger… I usually get the Brunch burger which has Fried Egg, Hash Browns, Bacon and Onion(inside the burger) and Cheddar. It;s pretty much that the best burger around, and on Mondays, it’s $ 6!

I’m really loving Applebee’s. After my grandma begged me to go multiple times I gave in. The burgers are quite good. They are cooked well and are still really juicy. The burger bun is sweet, buttery and perfectly complements the burger. The all day brunch burger is quite unique. Comes with over easy egg, hash brown, bacon and cheese. The boneless wings are amazing! The sweet Asian boneless wings are sweet and spicy. Just enough of both. The regular boneless wings taste good with the honey mustard sauce. The fries have nice seasoning and are crispy. The mozzarella sticks are very cheesy and give that perfect melted cheese effect when you try to rip them apart. The pretzel appetizer is also good. Food has gotten way yummier. It’s been nice going to Applebee’s. Hoping to try the riblets next time.

What a complete disappointment this visit was. My mother and myself decided to stop in today for a quick lunch. Now I am never one to complain but this visit really left me no choice. Though the service was OK, it was not enough to save this experience. We walked in and got seated right away to a dirty table, wet from a spilled drink and crumbs all over. As soon as I sat down, I got a strong whiff of urine. I hesitated on saying anything because we were seated next to elderly women and wasn’t to sure if that scent was coming from them. We started with the nachos. ICECOLD nachos. It was more like a salad with tortilla chips and 5 shreds of unmelted cheese thrown in. My mom ordered the chicken Caesar salad. Great taste wise, but put into a huge bowl only to be filled halfway. I ordered the lunch combo with a chicken Caesar salad-which was fine– and a chicken fajita roll up which, you guessed it. was COLD. After going back and fourth with my mom on debating if we should say something about the urine smell(again, we really don’t like to be complainers) the elderly women left and the smell still stayed strong. The scent was literally coming from under our table. After feeling like we ate our whole lunch in a public bathroom we felt it was too late to say something. We paid our bill, thanked the waitress and just left with the vow to never go back AGAIN. Don’t waste your time.

Went to the Seekonk Applebee’s for Monday burger night for a casual night out with my wifey. Waitress was nice enough but she couldn’t save the terrible meal for the incredibly slow kitchen. Took over 45 minutes to get a salad, a cold appetizer(how do you screw up Natchos?!) and an over cooked nasty looking burger. Asked for the manager, but we were told she was busy cutting steak in the kitchen. After replacement appetizers arrived stone cold and undercooked, we asked for the manager again, but she was still busy in the kitchen. We left disgusted after sending all the food back. Totally not edible. Totally never coming back to this Applebee’s ever again.

Stopped into applebees this evening with my wife and daughters. The kids burgers were literally charred. I ordered a rare steak which came out well done. Amanda the server was absolutely inattentive until there was a problem. Lori the manager took forever to get to the table and seemed to have no reason to be there They told us there was only one girl on the in the kitchen and that was the reason for the charred kids burgers and overcooked steak. They charged us for everything and then offered us free dessert. No we don’t want to wait for dessert after having to wait for meals to be remade. The level of service in this restaurant is awful BEWARE!

I like this Applebee’s — I’ve been in the dining room a few times over the years and have also used the car side to go option for lunch. I find car side take out very convenient — you can order online or over the phone. They tell you when it will he ready and you tell them what you’ll be driving. When you pull into one of those car side reserved parking spots… they usually come out with your order within minutes of arrival! I must give Applebee’s props — they know how to package take out and the containers are recyclable! No sweaty, soggy take out makes me happy! I’ve tried the nachos and the spinach dip with corn chips and found both to be good. I would highly recommend the oriental chicken salad(greens, grilled or crispy chicken, wonton noddles, shredded carrot and cabbage, shaved almond pieces and a side of delicious dressing)…definitely yummy with a nice crunch! I will also say that pretty much any burger is good but my favorite is the cowboy burger(burger, cheese, BBQ sauce, onion ring)…the fries are good — but if your feeling especially glutinous… pay extra and get the onion rings… they have always been thick cut and crispy! All in all as chain restaurants go — this ones pretty good. They do have a horseshoe bar you can sit at if you would prefer but I can’t say I’ve ever ordered an adult beverage at this Applebee’s.

We have eaten at this location before and it has been pretty good for a chain. Last week my wife ordered a hamburger that she ordered medium and it was cold in the middle. I’m in business and I’m the first to realize things don’t always go right, but it’s the way how it’s handled that is the test. The waitress was pleasant enough but no mention of a comp for her inconvience(took another 10 minutes, I was already done) no sign of a manager. Why isn’t he or she going around checking on their customers and why didn’t the waitress tell the manager. This happened once at Fridays and the manager came over in a few minutes and offered me a turkey burger on the house. We won’t be going back — – hello Fridays.

Service here is great. It was a pretty empty place when I walked in but they really made sure I was taken care of quickly. I had the mushroom burger. And they added some sort of sauce. I didn’t ask for sauce. I ate it to give it a try but I really don’t like many things on my food. And it made the bottom roll very soggy. Fries were good. I didn’t have any alcohol but they only serve Pepsi products. Another downer for me.

I went to Applebee’s last week for a project for school. I had a good time, the service was not awesome but the food was. the problems with the service were the following: first of all there was no host to greet us when we first arrived, we had to wait 5 minutes to get seated, second of all after we got seated we had to wait another 5 minutes for the server to come and introduce herself and ask us if we wanted any drinks and finally our server was not knowledgeable about the menu at all, when we asked if the chicken was gluten free she had to go and ask(give me a break). However the food was really good, we got sliders for appetizer and they were at the correct temperature and delicious and so were our entrees.

I went in for a restaurant review project for Johnson & Wales. So to begin we started with an appetizer trio and boneless buffalo wings, but unfortunalty they ordered our appetizer trio wrong and only gave us spinach dip instead. But they fixed the problem quickly and brought us the rest of the food. Our server was very apologetic about the mistake and got our entrees out very fast after the appetizers were cleared. When our entrees arrived all of the food was good except for one of our party members found a hair in their food. But again they fixed it quickly and brought out a fresh entrée and comped her for her meal. The rest of the meal went smooth and we had a good time.

Service was great, Sarah was very attentive and nice. Food seems to have gone down in quality but prices are great. We were sandwiched between a brut and his wife bad talking the restaurant and how they weren’t going to tip their waitress to save money for Christmas, and old people that reeked of moth balls! Eww We got the 2 for $ 24 deal, included an app and 2 full size dinners. What a bargain! My portobello chicken was good but didn’t full me up, I guess that’s what I get for getting a under 500 calorie meal:) My husbands Mac and cheese was delicious though! Great, rich cheese sauce with a few pieces of bacon and honey friend chicken tenders on top. Yum All in all, the quality of the food was, well, not as good as we remember Applebee’s being, but good, not great. For $ 35 dinner including a kids meal and dessert, cheap meals are ok with me! I usually get the fajita roll up, next time I come I’m sticking to what I know is great!

I have nothing good to say about this place. Every time I order food from there, whether it’s eat in or take out its AWFUL. I have given it more chances than I should have but enough is enough. I began to think it was me but it truly was not. The food is gross and never cooked good. I don’t know why they ask how you want your meat cooked because it never comes out the way you order it. The managers don’t know how to manage the restaurant either. When my order was messed up all I was offered was a coupon towards a free appetizer which I never used since I decided not to order from there anymore. He really had nothing to say and looked like he was way too young to be managing a restaurant. He definitely needs some more training. Even their drinks are bad. Expensive and not enough alcohol. I had two drinks at $ 9 a drink and felt absolutely nothing. I could go on forever but I won’t. And I won’t be eating there again anytime soon.

I signed up for Unilocal to write this review. I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in 10 years, and now I know why. The last time I went there I ate some disgusting«riblets»(where do riblets come from anyway, cats?). I noticed the portions had been getting smaller as well, so I stopped going for a looong time. Went to this Applebee’s on a whim, and because I wanted to give it another chance. I’ve had a foggy memory of Applebee’s once serving good food back in the day, so I was hoping they’d have gone back to those better days. NOPE! I *do* remember Applebee’s having some delicious salads, so I had the Fiesta Salad. Now, I should have been alarmed at the fact their«half» salads are not appropriately priced as such… you still pay about $ 8, or roughly $ 2 less than the full salad. If anyone is brain dead enough to pay nearly full price for half a salad, they deserve what they get. The Fiesta salad I received was served on a plate, and was about the size of my fist with ¼ of a chicken breast diced on top. $ 10 for this. I asked our waiter if this was the full salad, and he apologetically said, «Yea it is. I know, it’s kind of small». My impression is that Applebee’s is trying to make a buck by ripping off it’s customers. There’s plenty of other options in the area for better food, and better prices. The salad wasn’t even very good. The pretzel sticks and beer cheese app was tasty, though. I can guarantee I’ll never be going back there when there are numerous other restaurants that serve better, and more food, with comparable prices. Go to Davenport’s and get a salad from them, which costs $ 10.49, and is about 3 times as big as Applebee’s portions and tastes delicious. Hell, go to TGIF or Chili’s, surely you will get more out of your $ 10 at these places!

Gorgeous bartender. I’ve been to this Applebee’s several times and have been lucky enough to have the same bartender. She pours with a heavy hand and I always leave feeling pretty good. The beer and drink specials were awesome considering they also happy hour and late night bar food specials. I suggest you go on Tuesday and Friday nights when she bartends. She created such a great atmosphere. The 6 big flat screens also helped!
