Went there the other night and was not impressed. We had dinner and my steak was blah. No flavor at all. It was a flat iron steak that was suppose to have a Rosemary seasoning but it had no taste. The mash potatoes were luke warm and under seasoned. My husband steak was a rib eye with a small amount of meat mostly fat. His mashed potatoes were under seasoned also. His drink tasted like perfume. Would we go back problem not The wait staff was ok and the place was nice but the food was blah. And it was not busy at all

Food-5/5 Service-4/5 Atmosphere-2.5/5 Overall-3/5 Our waiter started off our positive experience, he was kind, prompt and informative, he did seem to have trouble remembering to bring certain items like steak sauce, which is an important part of a steak venue. When our food arrived me and my guests could not be happier. We all ordered steak, as it seemed appropriate. The salads included were incredible, with a great dressing to lettuce ratio. The fries and mashed potatoes were also very good. Myself and my two guests all ordered 3 different versions of the sirloin and each was cooked to perfection. The price of the meal felt fair but could have been a bit lower. What brings down this review for me is the restrooms seemed poorly kept and unorganized. The hostess was unfriendly and a somewhat confusing parking lot were all factors. Ultimately I would give this steak house a positive review but it has elements it could improve on, but the food is top quality.

When you don’t want to spend the next mortgage payment at the Capital Grille or Fleming’s Longhorn will do just fine. If you go in without the expectations of a high end steakhouse, you can spend a hundred bucks and get a couple of decent steaks, drinks, and apps. Service at the bar has always been very consistently good, always very attentive, drinks always kept full. We always avoid the early rush and get here around 9 when the place is clearing out.

Ok so we decided to stop here for dinner and we’re almost completely dissatisfied. First off the calamari which my son loves was awful loaded with grease like they dumped them Grier into the plate. Second the meals I ordered prime rib it was 1⁄3 fat I ordered it medium it came out blood red I also ordered some mushrooms on the side they had no flavor at all .My wife ordered the ribeye and it was very tuff and her sweet potato was anything but. My son ordered the steak frites was edible. The only saving grace and reason I gave it 3 stars was the server she couldn’t be anymore helpful or pleasant.

FORLUNCH! Not one for national chain outlets but this one was new and easy on/off 195 to meet people do we gave it a try. We’ve now been there three times so, I guess, it’s time to give it a shout out! Place is only a few months old so everything’s new. Seats comfortable, booths and tables, Large and comfortable bar. A few silly affectations like a giant LornHorn head over the bar but, hey… I’m particular about restrooms., I hate a busy place with one generic room. This place has two accommodations, two sinks and two high powered hand dryers. They obviously planned for comfort rather than the minimum adequate to meet Health Dept. regs. Like other places. Being a creature of habit, I get the same thing each time. They have a series of lunch specials for $ 8.00, 9:00 and 10.00. I get the $ 8.00 burger which is a 1/3# burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions and your choice of cheese cooked your way. Unlike other places, they will cook«medium rare» and they know how to do it right. In addition you may have a salad or a choice of soups. I get the Broccoli and Cheese soup, the cheesiest I’ve ever had! Additionally, as if you needed more, there are home made potato chips on the plate. Finishing that off is a beer glass full of soda which is also included. So, you get an incredible meal, well worth 15.00 at other similar places, for only the 8.00 plus tax and tip. I can’t address dinner since I haven’t had it and my choice for a steak would be a more upscale place but, given the quality of lunch, I wouldn’t simply rule it out sometime. So, wrapped up in a nutshell, a great place for lunch.

Although we had a forty five minute wait one Friday night(a mistake on our part for not making a reservation!) we waited and suffice it to say, I was pleased we stuck it out. Ordered the salmon dish and it was delicious, the perfect portion and the price was decent. Would come again!

Not impressed at all. My wife and I always sit at the bar to have dinner. We have been here once before and it was not good. But we wanted to give it another chance. Place has a cold feel to it. I had the flat iron steak and wife had a sirloin. Both steaks were blah. Had a few glasses of wine each. Bartender was boring and not attentive. Wont be going back again If your into chains, id much prefer outback or texas roadhouse.

Services here was poor and the food here is okay. Wasn’t that great. I’ll give this place another try, hopefully it’ll be a better experience.

I decide to go here about 530 today for dinner because I felt like some good steak! We were greeted very nicely by a pleasant woman at the door we will call here left forearm arm tattoo. She was very nice and personable! Then we were seated by a women with red hair and she was awesome too! I was taking off my jacket and I almost hit her with it! We both laughed haha! Our waitress was boring and left from time to time to hang out with a bunch of other waiters and waitresses at another group table! She was never around when we needed her like she had better things to do… Not good! I am not saying she didn’t get us our food or check on us but it felt like she was rushing us and that’s not good business! Food was awesome but service was not good at all! I will definitely go back but I will request another person to assist with the order. You figure if you are spending at least 100 dollars on a meal at least pay attention and act like you want to be there! You never know who you are helping! We were going to have dessert but it took another 10 to 15 minutes to get her to take the order when she came back she just dropped off the check go figure. No Bueno 11÷16÷15

Seriously, what happened to this place? When the place first opened they had excellent service, delicious food and a pleasant environment. Today was atrocious and I’m sad to say will be the last time we go there. First of all we arrived with my 84 year old mother who cannot walk that well, parked in the handicap spot only to find a Jaguar parked(unattended with the car off) smack in front of the door blocking the handicap ramp. We had to help her up over the curbing, I saw another woman with a walker struggling as well. When we came in I informed the hostess that the car was blocking the ramp she said, «oh Really, how many?» Two men were chatting in front of the bar, one I recognized as the manager my husband saw him roll his eyes when I mentioned the car while the other gentleman looked out nervously. He left shortly after getting into his Jaguar. We were seated close to the door and ordered fairly quickly but that was the only thing that went quickly. After going through 2 helpings of the complimentary bread the waitress came over and asked my husband what he ordered because she said she couldn’t read her own writing. We watched as other tables who came in after us were served and leaving, we still had no entrees. It took over 90 minutes for us to get our food. My creamed spinach was undercooked, still crunchy and they left the sauce off of my husbands sandwich. Everything was extremely salty as well. We didn’t dare send it back at this point. We watched the manager flit around conversing at nearly ever table but ours. You ever feel like you walked into a place where you just didn’t belong? Well that was how it felt. When we finally finished again the waitress was nowhere to be found, we had to hunt her down for the check. Once we got the check she disappeared again and we had to ask the hostess to get her so we could pay. None of the staff were smiling, what a cold unfriendly environment. In an area like this where you can literally throw a stone and hit the next chain restaurant I would say if they continue status quo they won’t survive. Fine with me, bring in a Texas Roadhouse please.

I REALLYYYY wanted to like this place. I’ve heard so many good things about them, but my husband and I were very disappointed! The wait was 55 mins after being told 20⁄25 mins. Ok I could deal with that, but then the wait for our food was another 45 mins. I ordered the special«all American 6 oz sirloin» and it was mediocre, but the appetizer that came with it was good. My husband ordered the Ribeye with a baked potato and he didn’t care much for it. The ribeye was extremely fatty and thin. Our waitress never stopped to ask if everything was ok. She did just come back with another glass of soda. What annoyed me too was the waitress saw we were done and I thought she was coming with a bill and then disappeared for 15 mins. I had to finally ask someone to call her out for our bill. So needless to say, the service sucked(just our waitress) and the food & wait time is definitely not worth the price!!!

We waited two hours for food. Dirty dishes remained on tables and angry patrons had numerous complaints. The manager Tyler hid by the kitchen and didn’t want to come out. He was«helping» the chef in the kitchen. Another man(bald) worker stretched his arms out and said«I’m sorry you had a bad experience… sorry you feel that way»(condescending). Then he said,” the door is closing in 2 minutes and if you forgot something inside you can’t come back because the doors will be locked. The manager said the food was on the house, but we were NEVER served main courses. We received salads that were either missing ingredients or contained ingredients that a member in the party(highly allergic) received. Tyler kept saying the food will be right out. We NEVER ate! It was the WORST experience. I took several pictures of the MANY dirty tables surrounding us. Totally unacceptable. I received an email and phone call regarding this incident from customer relations. Next, I received a call from the Director of Operations. He was very apologetic and offered a gift card to the members of the party. Additionally, he plans to personally visit and have an educational conversation with the individuals who contributed to our negative experience. Thank you.

I’ve always been a big fan of Longhorn but this one was a disappointment. I went here right when it opened and the food was very good, but the service was slow. I thought this was fine, sometimes new restaurants need time to work the kinks out. Since then I’ve been to Longhorn twice and its been a recurring problem. I’ve always ended up waiting a LONG time to be seated here. There always seems to be some kind of issue with the host/hostess where they wait to seat me even with a half empty restaurant. The servers all seem inexperienced, and I’ve had to send steaks back twice to be cooked more(they came out rare instead of medium well). There arer better restaurants to get a steak at in Providence. If you are budget conscious I would go to Outback down the road.

I’m so displeased that I made an account just to leave this review! We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday. We were told our wait would be 10 – 15 minutes for our party of two. An hour later, our name was called. Surprise! It was for another party of two, with the name! At this point, we had seen 4 other parties of 2 seated. So, we decided to leave. As I voiced our displeasure, the host vapidly nodded and mumbled«ok, bye then.» A+, would waste my time here again.

I’m in love with this place. The service and the food was excellent. I had never been to a longhorn before. The steaks were incredible ! Everything Ala carte but the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very inviting for a chain. There is mostly booth seating which I prefer. They are spaced well and it’s not loud so you can hear your friends . Our waitress was extremely pleasant and had a great smile when talking with us. She explained the menu to us in great detail. Our drinks were brought right over and our appetizer to follow. It was quick !! I am very pleased and will definitely be going back. Did I mention the steaks were Amazing!!!

Always looking for new places for lunch so we stopped in here and sat near the bar area bc normally the service is faster. The waitress knew we were on lunch yet the food took 45 min to come out. We all had just gotten chicken dishes and the place was not busy. The food was good but we did not have that kind of time, had to ask for to go containers. The manager came over and apologized for the wait and gave us a few free appetizer coupons which was nice but how do you expect to get the local lunch rush if we have to wait so long?

As far as chain restaurants go, I’ve always been a big fan of LongHorn. I was excited to hear that they built another locations close to where I live and last weekend stopped by to see what the new location had to offer. Sadly, it was a very disappointing visit. We went at 2 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was very slow and so was the service. It took approximately 15 minutes for our waiter to even come and say hi and take our drink order. The entire meal process from start to finish took over an hour and a half. On the bright side, the food was delicious, flavorful and cooked to our liking. We had the Firecracker Chicken Wraps to start which were great. For meals, we both had steak which was well cooked. I enjoyed one of their seasonal menu items the steak with garlic and provolone. I’m still a fan of LongHorn and their food, just not a fan of this location. I gave them three stars because I understand some staff may be better than others. I will try the location again, with the hope that the service will be more efficient and friendly.

So being a foodie I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants but I have to say this place has an awesome steak. I have eaten at a lot of fancy pants places and paid forty to fifty dollars for a steak but for 21.99 this cheddar stuffed bacon filet is one of the best. Great value too. You get warm whole grain bread that comes with some fresh butter. A side salad that’s quite generous in size. I chose a loaded baked potato that was filled with lots of bacon cheese butter and sour cream. My filet was cooked perfectly and had a peppercorn seasoning. It melted in my mouth with every bite. The best part is the bottom part of the steak hits the grill and the cheese gets all crispy and crunchy. Mmmm. It has some sort of brown gravy with it too. Wow. I ate at the bar and was greeted promptly and my food came out fresh and hot and quick. I have been to other locations and I find the restaurants are clean and the food is consistently good. If your looking for a great steak with a good value this is your place.

Enjoyable lunch. It’s very southwestern inside(horses, belt buckles, saddles, yee haa!) and the burgers we ate were perfectly cooked and pretty darn tasty. While I had a regular blue cheese burger, my brother had the Prime Time burger which arrives with a LongHorn branding on the bun. Say what! Needless to say, it made my burger look very plain in comparison. If I have one complaint it’s that they should offer a better beer selection. Their craft brews consisted of Harpoon IPA and Yeungling. Yeungling? That ain’t no craft beer!
