Stopped in after a golf tournament at Firefly, and I really wish I hadn’t as Luxury Box is a sad excuse for a sports bar. The men’s room was out of soap(eww), the ‘restaurant’ is ugly, depressing, and on a Friday night was only 25% full of young kids, and our pizza was a tasteless mess. We ventured into the basement and while the pool tables look nice and new, I couldn’t fathom ever coming here and playing pool in a windowless basement. On a positive note, this could be your place if you’re meeting someone via Tinder and want to be anonymous, as the darkness and lack of patrons will ensure no one sees you.

I cannot believe this place could actually fail until I showed up. The staff was so young and inexperienced you have to beg & find them outside while smoking or playing on their phone just for a simple draft beer. There for 3 hours only was able to get 2 drinks. Pool hall is joke bc they don’t have a bar or bathrooms or bar service near it. Anyone could double profit there with common sense. So disappointing

We came the first game of the Patriots playoffs. There was no karaōke or emphasis on the pool tables downstairs so I’ll leave them out of the review. We arrived before the game started and ordered 216oz coors drafts, pulled pork sliders, and chicken caesar salad wraps and waited for 20 mins before getting another beer. The pulled pork was a 3 of 5 the wraps didn’t have any caesar in them, but the fries were like fish and chip style, so very good! Pretty surprised they didn’t do a raffle or something, they missed out on a great opportunity! Pros: TV where ever you look, great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, friendly staff: waitress made up for a lack of service with fireball shots someone ordered but didn’t want, 35 oz beers, decent options for healthy types like my GF and I. Cons: waitress served the table behind us without refilling our beers, Caesar wrap was without caesar dressing, overall slow service during the game, asked waitress for the wifi password but never received it. TV has some issues at the beginning of the game but got sorted out by halftime. Overall: wasn’t great, wasn’t terrible, right down the middle for me. A good ol’ local townie bar!

Can’t even give it a star, don’t waste your money… went there recently with a certificate and they refused to take it even though they are still selling them at . place was empty and freezing. food wasn’t bad but waitress refusing to accept our certificate that was purchased turned me off completely…

One star is three too many. Stopped in for lunch this past Sunday, to use up a Groupon credit the wife was holding on to. Signage, website, Unilocal– all state they open at 11:30AM. Walk in the door with the wife and two children at 11:45, and sure– they’re open. Supposedly. They just haven’t cleaned anything up from the night before. Tables covered in dirty dishes, floor piled with refuse. No chairs down past the bar. Vacuum cleaner being run, in a desperate attempt to prep for the day. Problem is, they were already supposed to be open. The time to get cleaning was 10AM. And the time to get someone else’s dirty dishware was the night before. Simply an unmitigated disaster, and frankly– a health hazard given those dirty plates sitting out all night. Not interested in sitting in someone else’s filth at the offered booth, we immediately left, and the Groupon has been cancelled for refund.

Went here for a Pats playoff game. 1 star for amount of TV’s and the other is earned by the fun atmosphere from all the great New England fans. Other than that, there is nothing luxurious about the luxury box… Ordered a nacho plate and buffalo chicken dip, both microwaves, poorly microwaved. Beer was ok, glass I was given had lipstick still on it… Ended up ordering Chipotle and eating in the parking lot while listening to game on the radio!

We found Luxury Box purely by accident. Eight of us ladies planned a night out at The Old Grist Mill but as we gathered there, we found it overcrowded and OLD! Yes, we are a BIT close to middle aged but the Mill was full of GEEZERS. A couple of ladies texted the rest of us on over to the Luxury Box. It was dead, dead, dead when we arrived which was fine with us because we were goingvto make our own Christmas party! We enjoyed the quiet time talking, eating, drinking and playing games. As the night wore on, it picked up big time with karaōke! Surprise! Really good fun. The waitress split our checks and got it ALL straight. She was very pleasant and patient, occasionally misssing but we always found her… so, no complaints. The food was okay… bar food but well cooked. The fries were excellent, the nachos just meh, the burgers big and okay, the greek salad was generous. I was happy to see that they had a cocktail menu… something the Old Gits Mill didn’t have! I enjoyed the Mango Madness three times. A ‘vacation in my mouth’ indeed! The bathroom was fekkin spotless. So, a decent bar with edible bar food, a good atmosphere and competent waitstaff. The patrons were fun… and ALIVE without oxygen. Try out karaōke night sometime!

I’ve been coming to this place for decades, through all iterations dating back to when it was«Carpano’s». When it was Tort’s it was awesome. Great food, drinks and service. Now as Luxury Box it has gone completely down hill. The last time I went with some friends I had to get up and goto the bar to ask them to get me someone to clear the empty plates and glasses off the table and to get refills after waiting 30+ minutes. The service is terrible. I don’t even know if there is a way to describe it because I feel terrible doesn’t do it justice. Someone needs to buy this place and just turn it around to what it used to be because it used to be so great! Such a shame.

Stopped in to catch last call on our way home Friday night. Two female bartenders ignored us initially but did take our order within a few minutes of arrival… looked like they were counting out the drawers but a quick smile of acknowledgement could have gone a long way. I had a mixed drink, date had bottled beer. My drink was good — his beer was warm! Yuck! They had karaōke but it was basically one group of friends that were hammered(one girl could sing really well but the guy singing with her — just drowned her out) taking turns and then one dude singing bad rock ballads… yeah…last call can be a good thing in this case! This place used to be a high energy spot to meet friends, have fun and get your drink on… but it is exactly the same as it has been… for years… could you maybe clean the place and hit it with a fresh coat of paint at least?! It feels very dingy these days! To the point that you look around and go — if it looks this neglected out here — what’s that kitchen looking like back there!!! Still a good spot to stop off in summer for a drink or two on the patio… I just hope they do something to make it feel clean and welcoming again! Sadly, not much luxury left at this luxury box! …

I went in with my daughter to watch the Bruins game. The food was terrible and the service was slow.

I’m writing this review for good reasons. I went to luxury box with a few friends to grab some drinks, since I work in the restaurant industry I know what to look for in an established bar and restaurant. Service was horrible and very depressing. Food was mediocre at best. Then to top it off I went to luxury box to apply as a bartender since i saw an ad saying they needed it and was filling out an application at the bar. When I asked to speak to the hiring manager a bigger guy came out and said well I can’t hire you cause the uniforms I have are for girls. So please beware of this place horrible service check, sex ism and harsh working environment check, find another place to spend your hard earned cash? Yes.

I’m on the fence with this place. I’ve had several great nights here… But, for the most part, it had nothing to do with the place itself. Let’s talk ambience. It’s a sports bar. Plain and simple. Big TVs, projector screens, huge beers and beer towers. Scantily clad waitstaff, pub fare and live music. I’ve seen several bands here. Some fun and energetic, others who attempt and fail. There is also a large deck in the back which is normally full of smokers. They have a wing special on Monday nights which I’ve been to a few times. Good size wings, a bunch of sauces and fairly quick kitchen. This is the good. Now… The rest. The servers are awful. The door staff are miserable. The bands are more bad than not recently. Case in point. I took the family down for wing night a few months ago. When the food came, I was putting ketchup on my sons fries and the bottle completely exploded in my hand. Ketchup went everywhere. I got up because the server was nowhere to be found and asked for some napkins. She came over and when I explained what happened, she said«that the second one this week». Didn’t offer and apology… Or show concern at all. And believe me… It was everywhere. Other times I’ve been there with friends and had waitresses for to bring us drinks, door guys all but drag us out(mere minutes after the lights went on). I don’t know — I still find myself back from time to time. Less in the past few months, as my friends band hasn’t been playing there lately. But I’m torn. It’s not a BAD place and the wings are tasty… But there are more options closer to home without the downfalls this place has.

I came here with some friends for karaōke and had a pretty good time. The place was nicer than I expected and the bathroom was very clean. Our waitress was cool and offered to split the check for us, which I always love when a waitress offers to do that right off the bat. We ordered some fried pickles and french fries and both were yummy. Our waitress stopped by often. We all had a good time and I would definitely go back.

Went to watch a game Sunday. Great place. Good service. Dive bar look but with good food, lots of TVs. Sunday ticket. Good crowd. Too many Pat fans. Note: a «Stuffie» is like turkey stuffing but with clams. Good.

My friends and I visited this place for the first time Friday night. Why it’s called the luxury box ill never know, there’s nothing luxury about it. It’s an oversized dive bar. They were doing live karaōke on a Friday night which is all in good fun. Our waitress was pretty on the eyes but dumb as a box of rocks. She didn’t know the menu, and couldn’t even say some of the drinks. My sweet potatoes fries were burnt and the food was mediocre to say the least. A friend of mine ordered a beer and at the bottom of the glass we found a brown turd like looking fragment of god knows what. When the bill came. Thank god we looked. Our table had 3 separate bills. My bill had 2 extra whiskey drinks that no one had ordered. My friends bill had an extra drink that no one had ordered as well. I will never go back to this place and I advise if you do. Look at what is in your glass and pay attention to your bill before you sign off.

Their menu and website are both inaccurate. Sitting here now watching game one of the finals and ordered the Wednesday night half price appetizers. Waitress came back and said their manager would not honor the menu or website offer. Also told the waitress she could cover the difference of price if she wished to personally honor his outdated menu. Pathetic customer service by the manager and even more pathetic management and respect for employees. Waiters was excellent. I feel bad she has to work in these conditions.

Great place to watch a game or live band. Great wing sauces but ask for your wings extra crispy to really make them great! Love the habenero BBQ and spicy teryaki among others. Had a fantasy football draft there and it was great! Pizza is just ok but I had a large party there once and the chicken stir fry we got was great! Love seeing Run 4 Covers play there. The girls of the bar/waitstaff are great!

Most Horrendous bar experience EVER! Came in today with a buddy to grab a drink and lunch. We sat ourselves in the back area at a table. Waited about 7 minutes before the bartender yelled over to us and said«do you guys need anything» hmm why are we in your bar if we don’t need something? Anyways we asked for menus she brought them over and says«if you want something you have to come to the bar to order.» Didn’t ask us our drink order or anything just walked away. So we look over the menu and were ready to order and actually even went over to bar and she’s over talking to a guy who might have been a boyfriend? Either way we waited 20 – 25 more minutes to see if she’d come back and was nowhere to be seen. Nonetheless we left our menus and walked out. I loved this place back when it was Tort’s now its just in the crapper. I will never step foot in there again!

The neighborhood sports bar that has gone through a few name changes and countless owners has finally reached rock bottom. I’d love to see this place on a restaurant /bar make over show. While there are lots of tv’s to watch sports; often the staff isn’t aware of the sports schedule or which stations the games are on. I hope you enjoy techno/dance music while watching the Sox, Bruins and Celtics. Getting the audio can be like pulling teeth. The staff is very friendly, but can be slow. The food is bar food on the lower end. Don’t even think of trying the pizza’s. The biggest issue this place is having is an identity crisis. Is it a wanna be club? Sports bar? Dive bar? They invite under age drinking issues by having beer pong nights. Cheap drinks can bring in that unwelcome aggressive drinkers. Until things change around there, I’ll be looking for a new sports bar location.
