Service was attentive, though food took a bit of time. It was well worth it! I highly recommend trying the onion rings. I haven’t had ones that flavorful or immaculately breaded!

Excellent service and fabulous food. Quite a surprise… a pleasant surprise. If we lived here, we’d come here every week!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would… The oyster shooters, sliders, fried chicken, salmon and all the cocktails were just excellent. Maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever had!!!

Must admit I was a total Adler wood bistro guy when it comes to traveling to Sequim on business, BUT, I have found a new great place. Food great and fresh. Got to taste a lot thanks to sitting by the owner. Lamb raugu was great, chicken aujus and beef medallions wonderful. Glass wine list well thought out and researched. This is my new spot. Great service and food.

After trekking out to the Dungeness Spit Lighthouse, my spouse and I were incredibly hungry and ready for a good meal. We thought about going to Alder Wood Bistro, but they close really early and we weren’t going to be able to make it in time. So we ended up at Blondie’s because they’re open later and had high reviews. The food and service were both great(Amanda was our waitress). We had the beet salad, lingcod fish & chips, and the Mac & cheese. The beet salad was my favorite, the ponzu sauce added a nice citrusy pop to the dish. Portion sizes were spot on for the cost and quality. If we’re ever back in Sequim, we’ll definitely swing by Blondie’s again.

What an amazing find and pleasant surprise on our stay in Sequim! The front desk woman at our hotel recommended Blonde’s and we are so glad she did. It was a busy Mother’s Day Sunday and yet we were able to get in and enjoy a truly memorable dinner. The small plates were each superbly prepared and in combination made for the perfect meal. The crispy skin salmon with a miso reduction was the best tasting salmon I’ve ever had. The beef medallion with demi glacé, the asparagus and the flourless chocolate cake were heaven. And the Blondtini was a to-die-for concoction of gin, blood orange liqueur and orange Curaçao! Thanks to everyone involved with Blondes for a wonderful evening.

The food was delicious and portions are generous. I highly recommend the Jack Mac n’ cheese. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason they received 4 stars instead of 5 is the state of the menus. It is a small thing but a pet peeve of mine. Your menus are the first impression your patrons get, when they are torn, crumpled, and dirty it is a bad impression.

This is one of the best restaurants on the peninsula. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the ambiance is classy-casual, and the food is consistently high quality. My mom works until 7:30 or 8pm all week and even when we come to eat at 8:30 with them closing at 9 they never discourage us from dining in. If you are looking for exceptional food and service stop in and treat yourself!

Great ambience and service. Came for a quick bite with my mom while working in Port Angeles. Looked at the reviews and agree this place is great. I had the Wedgie and my mom had the Caesar both were delicious. We shared the steamed clams. No complaints and I will definitely be back next time I am out this way.

Pleasantly surprised. We came in late. Dinning rm was closed so we sat in charming little bar area. Full menu available. Steamed clams were excellent as was the fried chicken and onion rings. Singapore Sling was wonderful in a chilled copper goblet. Staff was very attentive and nice.

I was excited when we pulled up to Blondie’s Plate and found it was a restored old church turned restaurant, I just love that look and of course, love that they saved an old building from destruction ! The fact that we walked in on a Sunday evening and they had a Bloody Mary bar in the ‘church’ was a bonus. Blondie’s also serves many craft cocktails, beer & wine. The restaurant itself is kinda small and they had some overflow bar seating. The very nice server explained the menu, potions, ect. It is basically larger than normal tapas. We ordered a smoked fish flatbread which was very tasty appetizer and I ordered the crispy skinned salmon swimming in miso which was tapas size but perfectly cooked med/rare with crispy skin. Soo good! My hubby ordered the lamb shank, this was plenty big as a meal for him! For dessert we tried the bread pudding, I don’t often order much dessert let alone bread pudding? But this was fanfreakintastic!!! Do get dessert here, this was not tapas size, but shareable! I definitely will be back next time I’m out that way!

Great last minute find in Sequim! Gorgeous setting in restored church. Inventive meals in a «sorta» tapas-like style; the servings are too large to order too many plates. Only a few complaints/suggestions: Risotto should be looser, as ours was thick & glued together. Also the lobster mushrooms were far too few & glopped together. Much nicer if sautéed & placed a top for appearance. Desserts were disappointing. Their version of bread pudding was uniquely made with croissants, however pressed so firmly into a solid, moist, brick form, that any lightness or fluffiness of the croissant was lost. It truly tasted of undercooked & under sweetened dough which was then topped with under sweetened whipped cream. I would NEVER order this again. The salads, flatbreads, & miso salmon, & lamb shank was amazing though! Waitress Amanda was awesome, full of energy, & clearly liked her job.

Wow! What a fabulous little find in the middle of Sequim. We were spending the night in town after a weekend in Victoria and we were all craving something different. We were able to settle on Blondie’s Plate because the menu is so unique and diverse that there was at least one item that hit the spot for each of us. There are so many mouthwatering and unusual dishes on the menu, we took a longer than average time to order. We decided on 3 plates to share, so that we could maximize flavor sampling. First was the Jack Mac N’ Cheese, which was delicious but be warned. It is RICH. I suggest you share with someone because if it you eat it all at once it can be a bit overwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, it is BOMB, but may be a lot to handle in large portions. Next was the Fried Chicken which was amazing. It was my favorite dish of the night. It really is an art form to make fried chicken to this level of perfection. Finally, we ordered the Crispy Skin Salmon, which comes bathed in a ginger miso sauce. I was so close to drinking the sauce out of the bowl after the salmon was gone but my mom gave me that look of «don’t embarrass me, people know I raised you» so I stopped. But it was really good and if you tasted it, I don’t think you would judge me. You might just be jealous because you wanted to do the same thing but I did it first. Come to think of it, maybe that was my favorite dish of the night. What I am saying is, this place is DELICIOUS and has a great staff with relaxed atmosphere. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive and even gave us little facts about Sequim and what to do around town(apparently, it’s known for its beautiful lavender fields)! If I was one of the 7,000 residents of Sequim, I would be a regular at Blondie’s Plate.

I stopped by Sequim coming back from Canada on the ferry and decided to eat here with my mom and sister. So glad we chose to go here. The restaurant is quaint and adorable and the service was more than amazing. The restaurant is small and we were so lucky to be able to get a table. While we were eating the restaurant filled up quick with so many people making reservations. My sister and I both got some cocktails. I got a citrusy one and my sister got the Manhattan. Since she recently turned 21, she was not expecting it to be so stiff and the waitress, Amanda was so nice and gave her a new cocktail on the house. As for the food, it is tapas style so it is meant to be shared. Even with that said, the portions are still pretty large. The three of us shared the crostini, risotto, steak frite, and onion rings and we had PLENTY left over. The crostini was the perfect appetizer and the beer battered onion rings were absolutely to die for. The risotto was absolutely delicious. The portion size is very large so I would definitely consider sharing this with multiple people. I love risotto and it can be pretty difficult to find a good one, I never would have thought I would have found a great one in a city I can’t even pronouce correctly. The steak was cooked to perfection and wonderfully seasoned. I live in Orange County/Los Angeles and have eaten at restaurants featured in magazines and boast famous chefs. I still believe Blondie’s is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I have been back from my vacation for 2 weeks now and I still think about how delicious this meal was and how I wished they had a Southern California location so that I could try their Jack Mac n’ Cheese. Cannot wait to visit Washington again because this restaurant was AMAZING.
I really want to give Blondie’s a 5-Star but since I only had a drink it probably wouldn’t be fair. It was quite the fantastic drink served by a lovely lady though! Ferrol can make a Mule(Moscow and Marley) like nobody’s business. My Moscow Mule came to me nicely garnished in a copper mug. The vodka(which I may or may not have been skeptical of) was great as was everything else in the mug. Our bartender was friendly, funny and wise beyond her years. Whatever they’re paying her it’s not enough! She offered up menus which at first I declined since we were only there for a cocktail and were to be then on our way. I had a change of heart wanting to see the offerings and everything on the simple yet elegant menu looked fantastic! The menu prices at first seem a little above the mark until you find out that all, or at least almost all, of the ingredients are local and of the highest quality. You truly do get what you pay for. Keep in mind it’s small plates so a heaping helping may not be coming your way. I must return to try some of the food but sadly it’ll have to wait for my next trip to Sequim as this one was far too short. I did leave with a great cocktail, a peek at some great fare and could have left married and been ok with it! Caution: It’s a small place and can be flooded with the locals that frequent here as well as tourists. the word is out! Be prepared to wait and if you’re lucky you might get to sit at the bar!

Tonight I had the Jack Mac ‘N’ Cheese — topped with buttered bread crumbs, roasted tomato pesto, with the option to make it spicy with the following options: sriracha, red pepper flakes, or chipotle. I opted for the chipotle(thanks to some inspiration from our server). I was very happy with my decision. If sunshine had a flavor, the Mac ‘N’ Cheese from Blondie’s is what it would taste like! Bravo! BTW, the airy, yet crispy chips with clam and onion dip never ceases to amaze me.

If I could, I would rate Blondie’s a 3.5. Found this cute, little diner on Unilocal as my boyfriend and I were coming back from the Olympic Game Farm. The diner had a charm to it and I found it cute and cozy! We ordered the Pan Fried Oysters served with lemon aioli, Mushroom Risotto, and Miso glazed Salmon and thought every dish was good to great! The portion was filling at a very reasonable price(well, the oysters wouldn’t have been at a fair price if they weren’t on HH. For HH, it’s $ 9, but $ 14 full price and definitely not worth it for only 6 oysters). Everything came out at perfect timing with great service from our server. My only complaint — every item from the floor to the check book and the plates were every greasy. Not sure why that is but everything seemed to have a spot of grease on them. But, I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area as there are other options on the menu that piqued my interest and the flavors of the first meal didn’t disappoint.

A very nice dinning experience. The Mac & Cheese was amazing, as was the fried chicken, & crab cakes. Wine was excellent. Service was prompt & friendly. The food was not«typically» Spanish but the tapas idea was. Recommend for a lovely evening out.
