Wonderful food. Thursday steak special is amazingly good and such a deal! Everything that we had(housemade prime rib chili, 7 cheese mac n cheese, fries…) was so good. First time here, but we will be back. Nice setting, good prices, great food.

One of our coworkers recommended this restaurant to me and my husband and we were not that impressed when we went there for the first time. It took TOO long to get our food, but we ended up getting a discount for long wait, and the food was decent(not like The Emerald’s…see my review on that restaurant). And then we went again for Monday special, burgers, and it was pretty good. It used to be $ 5 but now they increased price to little less than $ 6. It is worth paying for that burger though. I think it is so far my favorite place in town to go for burgers. :D I also like Wednesday 50 cent wings and $ 1.75 ribs. Few days ago, I tried wings with their hot and sweet sauce that normally comes with shrimp appetizer and it was pretty good. Sometimes service was slow, but most of time it was fine and servers were pretty attentive and nice. Although we did not have a good impression at first, now we like it.

It is a shame the staff here are incredibly rude.

I was fully expecting this to be some shanty watering hole for the locals, but I walked in and the place was very nice. The food was really good, the staff were all friendly, and they have awesome specials. I had the steak special one night, and if I had another opportunity I definitely would ask for it again. The only downside is it’s a local town that does and will run out of food, which is acceptable for such a small town. I recommend getting there at or around 5 when the specials begin to ensure you get your food. It’s well worth it.

We tried this place twice. The staff was more interested in visiting with the regulars than taking our order. Its dark, and ugly inside. Although they are known for great burgers, ours were very plain. we won’t be back.

Outstanding! Great beer, great burgers, great service, outstanding value! We loved Oasis so much, went twice in a 4 day visit to Sequim! The second time was for the rib special and what a deal for mouth-watering, fall off the bone yumminess. You can even order a single rib! Great beers on tap, great food– wish I could come back to watch some football here– but would they still be so kind if I wore my COLTS shirt???

This place was WAY Out of our expectations. We came up for an event irrelevant to this place but ended up here and we’re completely surprised!!! Not only was the staff so friendly, the food was even better! Try the prawn po’boy, absolutely amazing! I ordered the diner burger but that shrimp sandwich was even better! First time here but definitely will be a next time visit! We stayed to play pool and darts and ordered little things off the menu, everything just as great as the first! Please visit soon! We will be! Coming from 200 Miles’s south! –Jaime and Tim

Found this restaurant on a quick visit to Sequim. The clam chowder was unique, with fresh dill? Shrimp and chips were cooked perfectly, with very fresh cocktail and tartar sauces. My husband’s fish and chips were also perfect, with a crisp panko crust, not fatty or greasy. The service was great… we were asked several times how our meal and drinks were. Highly recommended!

Had dinner and some beers here Memorial Day weekend. This is a very nice bar and the bartenders do a good job. I had the Philly cheesesteak with fries and a few Rainier beers, no complaints. My traveling companion had the bbq sandwich and more than 1 beer and also had no complaints. I’ll go back here next time I’m in Sequim!

Had a hard time seeing it from the road but when we pulled in we thought«is this the place”(It’s in the corner of a mini-mall). We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service that the staff provided. We were in town on business and were treated as if we had been there all our lives. It was burger night and they did not disappoint. The home made ranch is solid.

I came here because my mother lives in Sequim and I was in town for a visit. She swore by this place so I didn’t think much of it. When I walked in my first thought was«Mom, what the hell are you thinking?» but she’s usually on her game so I gave it a shot. Shortly there after I wanted to be the one shot! The service was slow, awkward and just plain not good. She would disappear for long periods where she could be seen having a great time behind the bar while our food sat in the window getting cold. I was told that the prime rib was really good and their clam chowder was fantastic… I’d love to tell you how they are but they had neither. None. zero… nada. I was ready to go at this point but mom insisted that we stayed… crap! I ordered a burger and fries and asked that the fries be upgraded to chili cheese fries. We may be able to salvage this meal yet. The food arrives after what seemed like(because it was) an eternity and the burger looks ok but I see I have naked fries… no chili, no cheese. I inquire about the garnish that was to accompany my fries and she retorted«Oh, the cook said we were out of chili! It’s Friday night and they’re out of everything I’ve tried to order… LAME! I eat my burger and it’s just ok. A fairly generic burger I could have made at home for much less. I did try a wedge of my cousin’s quesadilla with chicken and it was pretty good. We wrap up eating and see a sign across the room stating«Try our home made desserts.» so we inquired as to what the desserts might be… You guessed it, OUT of dessert! The owner came by and inquired about our experience and mom stifled me so I bit my lip which may have been a good thing since she frequents the joint. She said the waitress must be new because she’d never seen her before and I replied«Well then they should know she sucks so they can hire s suitable replacement»(dirty look from mom for that one) Anyhow, when I return to visit mom next time if she insists on eating here I’ll let her eat alone. One and done for me.

Love the Oasis! I’m a food and atmosphere snob but I really enjoy the Oasis. Their food is inexpensive, yet delicious. I particularly like the homemade burgers, the chicken piccata, and $ 5.99 steak night. Their salads are simple yet fresh with yummy homemade dressings. We used to really enjoy their live music nights. Even though my husband and I wouldn’t be considered elderly, we enjoyed seeing the older people out dancing and enjoying themselves. We’re really sorry that our community has lost this fun live music experience, due to money hungry industry. But we still enjoy the great food. I personally don’t drink alcohol but my husband has enjoyed a few beers and mixed drinks here. I highly recommend this little hole in the wall establishment.

This place has really gone downhill since I last reviewed it. Food is now pretty blah, service is slow and uninterested, and the place is often very loud. Drinks thin and very overpriced. Nope, not going back. Wondering what happened. Are there new owners or what?

Great local place, bar and grill, food is a couple steps above normal bar type food. Local hangout but not in a bad way. The chef salad is huge, big enough for two people. Their clam chowder is very good and unusual.

Fair priced drinks. Music sounds awful in here, ceilings too low. Only place to play pool in sequim. Bathrooms are nice for a bar. Love that they have angry orchard on tap. They need to cut more people off, people falling over almost every time I’m there.

Went on a sunday night and had Whiskey sour… More like ice, sour mix and a splash of whiskey. This is after he got my drink wrong the first time that also tasted like a mix of ice, 7up and a splash of whiskey. I swear the only reason anyone was in there was because it’s one of the only bars left in Sequim From the looks of it everyone else’s drink was pretty watered down. Can’t say anything for their food but don’t go there for the alcohol.

We have been in the area for a month but just found this gem last night. Stopped by for the taco special, $ 1 tacos were good, but we were intrigued by one of the appetizers. We ordered the Polenta poutine — an interesting blend of fried polenta sticks with cheese curds on top covered in a rich brown gravy. It was really good and filling, best shared with a friend. Came back again tonight — had to try the 50 cent wings. They were ok, but the breaded ones just aren’t my thing. The other special was pork ribs for $ 1.50 each, they were fall off the bone tender and very flavorful. Service was slow but not due to the servers, just two bartender/waiters for 45 – 50 people. When the waiter did come over to take our order after a while, he was apologetic and very attentive for the rest of our time there. Just a great neighborhood bar where locals hang out.

Tried to go here for lunch but it was my whole family and they aren’t yet licensed for anyone under 21. They were still friendly to us and said the kids couldn’t come in but they were working on getting that changed, hopefully in a few weeks. We asked if we could order to go and they were happy to oblige so we got an order of onion rings. They were GOOD. We were looking forward to the Build your Own burger– sure it was great after having the rings. Will hopefully try it next time we’re in town.

Our visit to The Oasis was… bizarre. I guess we should’ve been clued in by the fact that the patrons in this«sports bar» on a Saturday night were all in their 70s.(We are nearly 40 and there was no one close to our age, except the staff.) I’m guessing that was due to the«live band», which was one old guy(mid-60s) playing oldies and doing a bad Neil Diamond impersonation. Loudly. On the other hand, this place would’ve earned 4 stars if the food was the only factor. My Chicken Picatta was nice. Not overdone, juicy and flavorful. The from-frozen onion rings were decent. The Scallops with Pesto Linguini were cooked well and it was very good, albeit a tad greasy. Our service could have been better. The place had maybe 3 tables when we arrived, but it got progressively busier. However, there were only two bartenders/waitresses and they weren’t very prompt filling requests. All in all, if you enjoy loud, badly done oldies you will LOVE this place. Otherwise, go on a night when there is no «live band».
