Went on Father’s Day at five o’clock with a reservation. They were not very busy, many empty tables. Was seated and after five minutes had no one come to take drink order or even great us. There were many people walking around, did not appear to be short handed, gave them three more minutes and then decided to leave. Very disappointed with this being Father’s Day, dropped the ball Heinz. Went down the road to Outback Steakhouse with a 40 minute wait had Excellent food and service.

Went here for the first time this evening. The prices are fairly high for most items(the cocktails in particular are expensive even for Cranberry), but we expected that going in. I asked the waitress what she would recommend and she suggested the«Father’s Day T-Bone Special». I decided to order that and regretted it as soon as it showed up. This«Special» cost $ 40 so I was expecting a decent piece of meat. The steak was paper thin, slightly over-cooked, and tasted like it had been cooked in a pan rather than grilled. I was told when I ordered it that it had special seasoning on it. Whether there was supposed to be seasoning or not, my steak had none. For $ 40 they basically served a 15 $ Diner steak. The kind of steak a Waffle House would serve with steak and eggs. The potato was HUGE(bigger than the steak) and presented nicely but severely undercooked in the center. My wife’s chicken was also underdone in spots. Our waitress was very nice but the service was very odd. When we were not quite half way done with the entrees, she came out to ask if we had room for dessert. We said probably not and she returned a few minutes later with the check. We felt like they were trying to rush us out. The manager did comp the steak and agreed that the piece I was served was absolutely not a $ 40 piece of meat. He also gave us a gift card, but the prices combined with what you get for those prices mean we will likely not be back.

We(my wife, mother in law and myself) drove an hour and a half from Ohio today just to eat at the new Hines Ward Table 86 Restaurant. The food was excellent! I had the Pittsburgh Salad, my wife had the Chicken Pot Pie in a bread bowl and mother in law had a half Rueben with Beef Vegetable Soup. She enjoyed the soup so much we had to get a bowl full for her to take home. Our waitress Jill was very pleasant and efficient. And we met Howard(co-owner with Hines Ward) who was extremely nice. Highly recommend a stop here. We will be going back!

Love it every time I come here. Spinach artichoke dip and Mae Oon Shrimp are to die for. Beer is pricey but would do you except for the area and atmosphere.

Went a few weeks ago to meet a friend for lunch. Very nice and chic on the inside. Service was ok. Food was ok. There was nothing wrong, but wouldn’t go out of my way to return. But considering the conglomerate of chain restaurants in the area, this is an ok choice.

Tim’s service was fantastic! The food on the other hand, very, very average. Food all seemed to lack flavor. Plating was terrible. Kitchen time on a Friday night with about 60% filled was horrible.

Great service. Steak was rare for an order requesting pink. Bread pudding really good, but better if warmer. Kudos for the stir fry veggies. You won’t have trouble getting in for dinner, no wait. Hines is proud, and should be. Would recommend darker lighting for bar AND restaurant space.

The overall atmosphere is a classy/bar feeling. The food menu is your typical american cuisine with choices of seafood. I ordered the turkey bacon swiss baguette. I was not pleased with my meal. The turkey was dry, the presentation of the plate was horrible and my broccoli was cold and not seasoned. Service:Our waitress was pleasant. She was personable and checked on us quite frequently. Even though my food was not great, I did not want to complain, but it didn’t resonate with me too well, so I decided to tell my waitress when she brought out my check. I told her that I normally voiced my opinion if I do not like my meal, but I am trying not to be like my mother, lol. But she felt bad and wished that I spoke up sooner. I questioned her about their bread pudding dessert and she spoke highly of it. To fix my feelings, she put in the order for me and did not charge me. Even though I was not looking for any freebies or anything, she went above the call of duty to make me satisfied and she did. They have an extensive menu for drinks and their happy hour is great. I would recommend this place for a calm evening of drinking with friends and family.– Oh, try their bread pudding :)

So mediocre. Really sad service, actually really bad service. Went for a bday celebration with family, party of eight. Immediate service and our table was so bad, we didn’t even order wine. Maybe we were written off because we had a large party, but we called ahead and had a reservation. Food was literally passed within inches of my face to other members of my party all night. Terrible. Server handed me plates to pass around the table. Really? Will succeed just because it has an nfl players name on it, but there are so, so many other local restaurants that are so much more deserving of your time and money. I’m not impressed by a name… if I’m paying for a meal? I want something good and original. Not this… go elsewhere.

Because Heinz Ward is such a likable person and beloved Steeler, I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I’ll start with the positive. My cousin really enjoyed her salmon salad. She said it was very good. My mom and I did not care for the lobster tacos. The lobster was not flavorful at all. There was also too much slaw.

I tried this place this past week. It’s definitely a step up from the previous establishment. The Asian ribs were delicious, as were the chops and the Mae oon Shrimp appetizer. Burgers were decent, too. Came here with my mom, and she really enjoyed the experience. My moms Korean, so she loves Hines Ward(lol). I don’t even think she watches football ;) The wait staff were attentive and quick, and the manager(I forgot his name… big guy. Seemed really nice) was very polite and professional. Genuinely seemed to enjoy his profession and made some very good suggestions to us. Seems like it’s a very well run business. Definitely a nice addition to the Cranberry twp. area. We will definitely be back. :)

I stopped into Table 86 for the first time tonight with my wife and daughter. We decided to head over somewhat spontaneously so we utilized the Open Table app to get ourselves in «line». I love this app, as we knew we had about a 30 minute wait for our table and took our time heading over to the restaurant. Once there, we walked right in and were seated within minutes, much to the chagrin of others who were waiting around far longer than we did. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. It’s a combination of nicer restaurant, yet has big screen TV’ s everywhere. People seemed dressed casually. The wait staff were wearing jeans. Once seated, our waiter came over fairly quickly and took our drink orders and appetizer order. We order the tempura shrimp appetizer(Mae Oon Shrimp). I STRONGLY recommend this appetizer. If you love shrimp, I guarantee you will love this appetizer. For dinner I ordered the Korean BBQ’d ribs. The rack is of a decent size, meaty and really good. The BBQ sauce was sweet and not overwhelming. My wife had the turkey burger, which was massive. She loved it. It came out hot and was very juicy. My daughter had the Margherita flatbread pizza and she couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. I would have rated Table 86 higher, if not for a couple of service issues, which did not take away from our experience overall. I had ordered broccoli instead of the fries, but was delivered fries(quickly corrected) and my wife ordered a salad with her meal, which never showed up until after we were done eating. Our server, while attentive at the start, slipped a bit after our food was delivered and I waited a bit longer than I would have preferred for my check. Overall, I really liked Table 86 and would definitely recommend it, and I will surely go back. I’d actually like to try Hines Wards other restaurant next door(Vineyard?).

I was with 4 other colleagues, everyone got something different. I got a black and blue burger, I asked for it cooked medium. The food took some time to come out, we were there about 8:30. Not to busy. The burger wasn’t properly cooked, I don’t send food back. What’s the point. I was very dissatisfied with the food. Service gets the two stars here. Our server was polite and did a good job. I don’t think I will be back. Cook the food right the first time. Let others complain about the food and give it a second chance.

If you like to loiter inside of a restaurant and watch other people eat mediocre food Table 86 is the place for you. After a lengthey wait we were wisked away to another waiting area disguised as a table. 2 ½ hours after pulling into the parking lot I had the MVP burger. Ive never had a really bad burger so it was a new experience. For not starving to death at the table management gave us half off the bill without us having to complain.

This is our 2nd visit, for lunch. The atmosphere, cleanliness and politeness of the staff are all first rate. Unlike most places in Pittsburgh, Table 86 addresses two of my biggest pet peeves: They take AMEX and they have their beer list PRINTED. Nice job! As for why I gave them 4 stars, it was the food prep. The fish and chips were fantastic, the first time. This time, you could tell there was older oil in the fryer. The fries weren’t hot and they were dark brown. The fish was just ok. I was disappointed. The burger was very good, but the fries… Next time, I’m trying the Korean BBQ Ribs. I’m thinking the 3rd time is the charm for an A rating. 84% out of 100%

We decided to try out the happy hour scene at table 86. The space looks a lot larger from the outside but it’s decorated very nice. Not sure how many people it would hold for a Steeler Game. The bartender was super nice and we ordered the Heinz Sangira which was yummy. I ordered the smoked wings. Everything was reasonably priced. The wings had way to much smoke flavor. I couldn’t taste chicken at all. Overall I had a nice time I would go back but I will order something different

I went to this restaurant on Friday night. They have done a nice job changing the look from the previous place. The menu is very creative and surprisingly affordable. We had the shrimp tacos which were excellent and the wedge salad was very good. Although I forgot our waiters name he was very helpful and he made wonderful suggestions. Even with my gluten allergy he was well versed with this allergy. I will definitely return. Beers were reasonably priced.

Front area looks like the previous establishment with minor layout change: more dining space and TVs at the bar. Totally different menu. I would say good for groups. Last time we came here with a party of about 12 and sat in what looks like a private dining area, past the bathrooms. I tried their burger before, but it was nothing special. The last time we came, my hubby and I tried the grilled wings for appetizer, which was a fail and tasted plain by itself. The ranch definitely helped. For my entrée, I had the grilled mahi mahi. Server recommended medium well, and it was perfectly cooked! The aoili was delicious! It came with brocolli and rice pilaf, which were both good and well seasoned. Rice pilaf was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we shared the one pound chocolate cake(my hubby loves chocolate desserts). It was good but not worth $ 12 unless you’re sharing with 8 people. Our other friends got their own dessert, so they only helped us a bit. LOL. One of our friends ordered the bread pudding, which she let me try, and that one was delish and again cooked perfectly! Service was Ok.

The Northmont Farms Wine Club had it’s annual wine dinner at Table 86. All five of the wines were matched well with our food courses. Three appetizers of fried zucchini, mini crab cakes and Asian shrimp were delicious and served with dipping sauces that complimented the flavors perfectly. The Italian Wedding Soup was the best I have ever tasted! Tender chicken, mini meatballs, vegetables and a perfectly seasoned broth! The fillet and salmon entrees were cooked to order. The chocolate mousse layer cake was almost as big as the dinner sized plate that it was served on — the perfect ending to compliment the Shiraz! The chef, wine sommelier, and wait staff were very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely return as the dinner was outstanding and affordable!

My husband and I felt it was pretty average overall. The portion size was adequate and flavor was fine(I had a burger and he had the fish n chips), but nothing to write home about. We also tried the nachos as an appetizer — it was $ 9.99 for chips with melted cheese, a few jarred jalapeños, some chopped tomatoes and sour cream. Seemed pretty pricey for very basic nachos.

Wish they had WiFI! Stopped at the Vines, which is in the building next door to Table 86, for happy hour with a few friends. There are a few good wines on the menu, nothing outstanding but some decent wines. The wines are a little pricy, just like most bars and restaurants, not sure why but most bars and restaurants tend to have a 300% or more markup. I guess that is why I tend to go to BYOB restaurants. We did get the cheese and meat plate that was good. I do not remember everything on it but a couple different cheeses and some meat with some mustard. Service was really good. After hanging out and enjoying some of the group left to go home and few went to Table 86 to grab a bite to eat and sit near the fire pit. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip severed with pita. The dip was good and what you would expect and get at many places. I chose the Pulled Pork sandwich, it is a house smoked pork with a Korean BBQ and some small onion frizzles on a brioche bun. I really enjoyed the sandwich with was not to sweet or spicy just a mild flavor. The price point was very fair, actually less expensive than a few other places I have been to recently. Service was very fast and friendly. Wish they had WiFi!

It was quite busy for a Monday night. The wait was over 30 minutes and the bar was full. We added our names to the wait, but two seats opened at the bar, so we opted to sit there instead(of course letting the hostess know that). Because the bar was busy, we were not greeted by either bartender for close to 5 minutes(but being we both have been behind the bar, we understood and did not get upset). Both bartenders were friendly and allowed us to sample a draft beer before ordering our drinks. Both of us opted for a bottled beer, even though the martini list looked wonderful. We ordered an appetizer with our beers. We got the Spinach Artichoke Dip. When it finally came out 25 minutes after ordering it, there was at least ¼ inch of olive oil sitting on the top. That grossed me out, but I gave it a good stir and ate it anyway. It was good(not the best I have ever had) and there was more than plenty. Our entrees took OVER45 minutes to come out. My husband got his salad WITH his meal, which he wasn’t very happy about. He ordered the Crab Mac n Cheese. Very large portion, but he said the crab meat was cheap and didn’t taste as great as it should have, especially for the price. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with NOONIONS. It came out and I immediately saw ONIONS falling off the sides. I cut it in half… picked the onions off and noticed the cheese was hardening and the burger itself was ICECOLD. I NEVER send food back, but tonight I did. Both bartenders apologized several times, especially because they had already had to check to see where our food was(remember, it had already taken over 45 minutes to get our food). They took it back to the kitchen with no hesitation. When it came back out to me(only 5 minutes later for a medium well burger…) I could tell the cook had thrown it into the microwave to warm it up(the bun had that strange texture to it that only happens to bread when it has been microwaved). I smiled and said thank you and ate it anyway. It was not the best burger, but was still decent. One of the bartenders came over and checked on us and let us know they had taken my burger & my husband’s salad off the bill. I told them that was not necessary, to which she said it was because a wait that long and food coming out cold is unexceptable. I thanked her and she went on with her job. When it came time to pay our bill(which had been reduced), we were pleased with the total(even before the food had been taken off). Remember people, the servers and bartenders do NOT make your food & it coming out cold or wrong should NOT be taken out on them! It is possible we will be back. My husband enjoyed it more than me. I think next time I will go with a pasta dish. Our service was good and everyone on the staff that we interacted with was friendly, but… it was just the food I was disappointed in.

We visited for lunch and the service was fantastic. Our server, whose name escapes me, was an older gentleman who was so friendly and accommodating. He really made our afternoon. The ceasar salad was good and Chris had the blackened mahi sandwich. The mahi was cooked well, but a tad on the salty side for his taste. I really want to live this place but I just find the menu to be predictable and underwhelming. There really wasn’t anything that I thought oh wow I HAVE to try that. I imagine we will return because the service was truly outstanding and I want to try vines once I can have a glass of wine again.

I stopped by here a couple of Friday’s ago for lunch with two co-workers. Due to the mixed reviews I have heard about Table 86 I wasn’t exactly chomping at the bit to get there, however when one of my co-workers suggested it I decided to give it a try. I was interested to see the inside of Table 86 since I had been into that same building in its previous incarnation. There isn’t too much that is the same but as soon as you walk in they still have the firepit type area off to the left. I didn’t really get to see much else as we were led to the back and sat at a booth. The booth itself was rather cozy and I am pretty certain that if I wasn’t a trim guy, I would have had some issues. From the booth the only other things that I could really see were a couple of other booths and two TV’s which unsurprisingly had football related items on them. For my entrée I decided to go with the MVP burger. It consisted of a ½ pound party topped with pulled pork, aged cheddar, bacon and Asian slaw all on a butchers block with a side of French fries. I ended up ordering my burger medium well and whenever I bit into it, it was very pink and if I had to guess I would have put it closer to a medium rare. That was really the only bad part about the burger as all of the toppings were really good. The Asian slaw was tossed in a ginger vinaigrette and the pulled pork was moist and flavorful. Then the aged cheddar and bacon tasted nice as well. Last but not least the bun was toasted properly which allowed me to eat the burger without it spilling out everywhere. So overall it was a pretty good burger that in my opinion justifies its price tag. Oh and the fries were pretty good as well. What was also nice about this lunch was that our service was pretty outstanding. Our server was never away from the table for too long and really had her stuff together. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I went into lunch not really expecting much and left happy with the food that I had received and had an overall pleasant experience.

We visited for the first time tonight and really enjoyed ourselves. The hostess stand was the weakest link for us — had to get their attention, none of them greeted us when we came in(it was just my husband and I). Our waiter was fantastic, though. Food was good. The spinach and artichoke dip was excellent! The pita chips were freshly made and well seasoned. My husband got the MVP burger and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Both were well made and very yummy. Not sure if kids would do we’ll here or not. It’s casual, but does have the bar type setting. Overall, give the place a try!

My husband and I love to sit at the great big bar flanked by TVs which also overlooks the front of restaurant. Haven’t watched a Steelers game there yet but look forward to it. Food has been consistently really good and priced reasonably. The fried zucchini appetizer was memorable as well as the pork chop entrée. Look for Hines Ward’s signature dishes ending in .86 cents. By the way, Table 86 took over the Siba restaurant location. The beautiful copper fireplace is still there.

I wasn’t disappointed, but I wasn’t impressed either. The service was pretty good, though it did take a while to get our wine. The music inside the restaurant was very loud. We are out of places to try in the Cranberry area! With some of the negative reviews related to service, I was a little hesitant when my co-worker suggested for us to go to Table 86 for dinner. Admittedly, I am glad that I gave in. I had a glass of moscato, shared the Mae oon Shrimp app and the bread pudding. The shrimp was okay –think General Tso(breaded protein and then glazed with a semi sweet sauce). The waitress suggested that we substitute the rice pilaf for the asian slaw. Like I said, it was just okay. The bread pudding was dressed with a whiskey sauce… yum. I don’t know which I enjoyed better — the bread pudding or the moscato. ;) The service was pretty good; our drinks came quickly, our food orders were taken and came out quickly, we were checked on from time to time. They have a lot of TVs around the bar but they can only put on two channels at any given time. I would come back here again.

Stopped in to try the wine bar next door, which is also associated with Table 86. The décor has not changed much, if at all, from the previous wine bar. They have a small bar area when you enter, a bunch of indoor seats and some outdoor seating as well. The wine list was mediocre at best, especially if you were looking to buy wines by the glass. The bottle list was not much better either. They do offer various wine varieties across a few different countries, but the focus was California. No vintage dates on the wine list, so if you are looking to buy a bottle, you will have to ask the server what years they have. They do not have food to offer with the exception of a cheese plate. This was actually pretty good and for only $ 6.00. It had 4 – 5 different cheeses, some prosciutto, crackers, mustard and a small class with a nut mixture. The staff was friendly and prompt, willing to answer questions and prompt to refill waters. No issues there. The outdoor area, it was a nice evening, filled up rather quickly. Many of the people came from the restaurant and were waiting for their table upstairs. Music playing was mostly 80’s and 90’s soft rock, not my choice for a wine bar, but what do I really know anyway. Would I go back? Probably. Am I anxious to go back? Not particularly. The place really has potential, especially with the name recognition, but for me, it is not there yet.
