Service is poor due to both Kitchen being slow to process larger parties(6+ people), and younger wait staff that can be not as service oriented(basic steps of bringing water, bread, explaining specials, etc.) GOTO Springfield Grille… its only 2 miles down the road and has a great staff and menu for the same prices.

SUPER pissed at Siba. My last experience here was NOT good. I found a hair in my food, and although the manager was apologetic, I think she should’ve comped the flatbread I had ordered in its place. In addition, our waitress charged us 4 dollars for a small side of marinara. How did I know this you ask? Because I looked at the check and saw that she charged us for an order of «veg du jour». When I asked her what that was, she claimed it was for the marinara. If they usually charge customers for extra marinara sauce on the side, why isn’t it an option on their register? Why isn’t there any indication of that on their menu under sides? Why didn’t the waitress mention that when we ordered? Now, you may think I’m making a big deal out of $ 4, but it’s a matter of principle to me. So yeah, never coming back here ever again. Such a shame because I’ve had good experiences here in the past. There are tons of great restaurants in the area with fantastic customer service like Springfield Grille soooo that’s that.

Our first experience was a 5-star, our second was a 1-star. We left the second time very disappointed with the food. My food was ice cold and I said something and the server didn’t seem to care. We never saw a manager walking around.

I love the ambience and food here esp. the chocolate chip cookie sundae dessert! I think they have sinful sundays when desserts are half off. My fave entrée is the spicy shrimp penne. My fiancé loves their garlic mashed potatoes, and his fave here is the lamb lollipops, which is part of their tapas only served at the bar area. I haven’t had an appetizer here that I didn’t like. I recently tried the shrimp bruschetta and that would’ve been an entrée portion. It was delish esp. with the bread soaked in the sauce. They have a pretty good drink menu, but I would stick to the wine or drinks you know you already like compared to trying out their cocktails. My fiancé had the sidecar, which was too sour. You can’t tell whether they actually put any crown royal in it. I tried their seasonal cupid’s cloud martini, which tasted ok but had an after taste of cough syrup/robitission. ugh. It was a cute presentation though with the meringue. For the most part, the service is good, but I did come here one time and the service was slow.

Despite my best intentions, we’ve been back to Siba a couple times(at the request of friends) since my last review and my stated pledge never to set foot in here again. Alas, I should have stuck to my guns. This is just an awful place. We went to meet friends here last night at the bar for a birthday celebration and things haven’t gotten any better. The bar layout is a disaster and its impossible to move around if you get more than 5 – 6 people there. And the waitresses trying to serve the two misplaced dining tables near the bar have an impossible task. Ridiculous. What a sad, sad place. I was honestly tempted to ask the people who were there why exactly they came. What could they possibly see in this place? I mean, the food is on its best day just mediocre. It’s not a bargain, it’s not tasty nor does it offer anything special. The service is not good either. So WHY??? And to top it off, I ordered a draft beer for my wife and I. Total $ 15 before tip. Not a premium beer and not even served in a pint glass. $ 15? Are you kidding me? Must be the atmosphere I’m paying for… Right… I WON’T BEBACK!!!

Appetizers: Calamari and Banana stuffed peppers. The Banana stuffed peppers were the star here. Main Course: The NY Strip Steak with an Orzo Salad for the side. The Steak was cooked perfect and was super juicy. Nice flavor. The Orzo Salad was fresh and a great compliment to the Steak.

We have tried Siba twice, and our experiences were pretty much the same both times. The Saturday evening«entertainment» is a detriment, not an asset. The place is crowded and noisy already. With the guitarist/singer, it is impossible to hold a conversation. Heck, it’s difficult to even order your food! The food was OK, but considering what they are charging, OK doesn’t cut it. Not when there are other restaurants that charge the same(or less) and the food is a good deal better. Service was spotty both times we were there. I seriously doubt there will be a third visit. Perhaps the owners think that they don;t have to try, since every restaurant in Cranberry seems to be busy. They may be right, or this may catch up with them. Time will tell.

We were excited to meet some friends for dinner at Siba. The atmosphere here was nice. Unfortunately, dinner was a disappointment. The service was slow, and our waiter did not check in often. My son’s meal came 10 minutes after all of the other food. My daughter ordered the New York Strip. It was cooked as ordered, but it was so bland. My Chicken Marsala was good overall, but the chicken was a bit rubbery. The«jumbo» crab cakes were a not good at all, and for nearly $ 30, the portion was small. The mashed potatoes were the only really tasty part of the meal. The menu did not impress. In fact, our friends said that it used to have a much wider selection. For the price of this meal, I would have expected much better quality. We will find another local place to enjoy next time.

I live within walking distance of Siba and unless a friend says meet us there for drinks or the girls do a lunch get together, I avoid it. Why? Overpriced and underwhelmed. It’s really a pretty restaurant but the food needs to step it up! Every now and then I’ll get something that I really like then the next time I order it, the quality is subpar. Servers are consistently inattentive and distracted. We used to meet people at the bar after work and all of us remarked about that. The last 2 times I met the girls for lunch there, nothing had changed. Diners actually care about service and food! When it becomes a 50⁄50 flip of a coin on whether you’ll have a good or a bad time in a restaurant, especially one where we’ll be paying $ 100 for dinner and drinks, I will go elsewhere.

I love visiting for lunch. They have a fantastic ceasar salad. I’ve ordered it to go several times because I love it so much. I also really adore the lobster BLT sandwich. It comes with a little cup of the lobster bisque so you can dip your sandwich in it if you like. Loaded with bacon and big chunks of lobster. The sauce has a great little kick to it. All in all, one of my favorite places to do lunch. And I love to sit on the porch on warmer days.

A good dining option among the limited selection of finer restaurants in the northern suburbs. Great ambiance and service. When I went during the holidays, I was impressed with the effort they took to adorn the restaurant. Quality furnishing. Lunch(less than $ 15/entrée) and dinner(less than $ 30/entrée) prices vary. Quality and bang for your buck are quite good. Food presentation is good. Appetizers: the stuffed banana peppers stuffed with hot sausage are prepared in a cast iron skillet and are phenomenal. The hummus, tabbouleh, and tzatziki sampler comes with flatbread served on a u-shaped boat. Entrees: pork chops and the pizzas are consistently very good. The olive oil white pizzas are a great change of pace from the traditional red sauce. Crust and dough are great, love the distinct oven flavor. Have enjoyed all of my visits and will definitely be back.

I had the Kobe Burger, and it was good. I like the burgers at BRGR better, but it was still much better than average. They had sweet potato fires that were OK. I also had a little salad and again, OK. The menu looked great, and maybe I just picked the wrong things, but I still think that BRGR is the better value.

Stopped in to try the wine bar and get a munchie or two with my sweetie. Was told this is a great place for a date. Love the atmosphere of the wine bar area. Great romantic ambiance with the gas fire pit. It is a great place for a date. The wine list is long and has selections from all over the world. There are about 3 dozen wines you can select by the glass. Since in a Tuscan Grill, chose an Italian wine that was good, however the wine by the glass prices are a little steep. My glass was almost as much as the bottle at the local state store. Enjoyed a Mediterranean flatbread that was very good and little larger than expected. The bartender was busy but did a good job taking care of us.

My wife and I went to Siba for our two year wedding anniversary. We have a 3 month old so we had to go pretty early but I made a reservation through open table anyway. The decorating and theme of the place is awesome. Perfect for a special dinner. Since my wife can’t drink I chose not to also however, because it was our anniversary they offered a free dessert which was nice. We got calamari which was great and then I got the bacon wrapper tenderloin and she got some spinach fettuccine dish. Both were very good and appropriate portion sizes. It wasn’t overly loud in there and the wait staff was fantastic. For dessert we got carrot cake and crème brûlée. The carrot cake was awesome. I am not a crème brûlée fan so it was nothing special to me. All in all a great night and we will be back for sure.

During a recent trip to the Burgh, I was disappointed by the menu changes at Siba. There’s a new chef in the house, so maybe I should cut him some slack, and yet I can’t seem to do that. The strawberry salad didn’t have very many berries(maybe three at most), but was tasty otherwise. The spinach fettucini with asparagus and artichokes was a bland dish overpowered by the heavy artichoke flavor and lackluster broth type sauce. Our waiter could tell we were sad by the recent turn of events and brought a carrot cake on the house. Nice gesture and yet not enough for me to return next time.

Rib-eye is a little disappointing for its price. The ambiance is great, but too expensive for any blue collar events. Nice wine collection. One star less for food, one more star for price

After a disappointing visit last fall, we have avoided our once«regular» dining spot like that plague. Six months later, BJ was willing to give them another chance. I went along for the ride… The bf had made a reservation via Open Table requesting our favorite cozy booth. Check. We were greeted right away by our über charming and super cool server Jose. He was prompt in the delivery our beverages. Check. I got a wedge salad and Spicy Shrimp, BJ launched into a complaint concerning his pork and our last visit. Jose assured him that his meat would be perfectly cooked also acknowledging that they now have a new sous chef. Our meals turned out to be fantastic. BJ’s pork did not have to make additional trips to the kitchen, so he was very happy. For dessert, we asked for our server’s opinion. He highly recommended the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding. It was delicious. We will more than likely be re adding Siba back into our restaurant rotation.

Stopped here on a whim while in the area because the outside looked intriguing and I’m always down for some good Italian eating. The décor is rustic modern-Italian, warm and inviting — a nice start to the lunch. :) We sat in a comfy booth and decided on soup and salad because I have to eat gluten-free. They do have some awesome-looking paninis and pizzas, but I can’t eat them. :(The horror! I started with the Tomato Bisque, which was a delicious, chunky purée. So good! I don’t normally like tomato soup, but I loved this. For my meal, I had the Steak Salad(locally known as a Pittsburgh salad) — with juicy, tender, AMAZING steak, crispy potato pieces, parmesan cheese, and tomatoes. Soooo good. I could eat this salad every single day. I’ve never had such good steak on a salad before. Normally restaurants skimp on the quality of meat because it is on a salad, but not here. Our waiter was very pleasant, our meals came out promptly, and I definitely plan on going back. The only thing bad I have to say about this place that the music choice was pretty whack. There was some sort of contemporary, smooth jazz/pop music on that was not very fitting of an Italian restaurant.

The prices here put it out of the everyday dinner category, so you want to plan an evening to come here. We stopped in without reservations on a Friday night and were seated promptly. I have the feeling that if we arrived later there would have been a wait. The restaurant filled up quickly as the evening progressed. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Our dinner choices included: Zucchini Fritti Chicken Funghi e Pomodoro Dungeness Crab Cakes Baked Cookie The Zucchini Fritti appetizer was very good, although we were unsure of how to actually eat it. It was very much like fried curly zucchini straws — too difficult to eat with a fork, too upscale to eat with your fingers. The taste was right on the money. The meals were both very good. I don’t normally eat seafood, but I enjoyed the crab cakes very much. You can tell they put attention into the presentation of the food as well as the taste. Portion sizes left us satisfied, but not so full that we couldn’t enjoy a baked cookie and ice cream for dessert. I like the atmosphere here. Live music began at 8pm and the artists fit the ambiance well. They were set up by the bar but we could enjoy the music at a comfortable level from across the room. Only downsides: we weren’t offered refills on our drinks and prices are high.
