Youngs Barber Shop

Moved to the area about 1.5 years ago and have gone to multiple places in finding the regular place to go. Found myself going back most to Young’s. Service is always good and wait times not too long. Prices are right in line with other locations.

They do a nice job for a reasonable price.

I usually go during the week in the morning and have little to no wait time. Saturday’s get pretty hectic especially the weekend before a holiday.
The better half always liked the haircut I get and so do I. They do a really nice job and are friendly. I have never had any issue with my cut or the service.
They offer other services such as beard trimmings. During the week some of the barbers have started taking appointments so if you are in a hurry, give them a call and see what they can do for you.

They close before their stated times. Their excuse was that they were on their feet all day. I find this unprofessional.

In my search to find someone else to cut my hair, I’ve tried Young’s a few times over the last several months. Now, I’m not that particular anymore about haircuts — I think hair loss and a change in attitude have helped me be far less selective! But I still have SOME standards — but just a few. Young’s almost measures up to my lessened expectations. Convenience is the primary reason I’ve continued to experiment here. You can go at most any time and get in. Cost is reasonable, the barbers are mostly competent (with one notable exception and I’ve learned to pass on her) and some of the people walking out of here actually look good! So roll the dice, take a chance! Remember, it will grow back!!!

It’s nicely located and they do a good job of cutting hair. Just don’t come here for conversation because you won’t get much. Everyone is nice enough, though.

I called them about a week and a half ago with a simple question. They told me they would call back with an answer. I have yet to hear back from them and I have been looking for a barber since mine moved a month ago. I guess I will never take any of my business there.

I took my boys (5 and 6 yrs old) here for haircuts two weeks ago. They do haircuts for walk-​ins without appointments. It’s a large place with lots of comfy seating, large TVs, a play area for kids, and of course a row of barbershop chairs with mirrors and counters. We didn’t have to wait and took our chances with the two barbers that met us at the door. They were very friendly with the kids and patient with my one son that has some sensory issues and doesn’t like to have anyone touch his hair. The barber just kept pausing whenever my son squirmed too much and calmly said «that’s ok, but if you sit still it will go faster.» Both barbers used a similar approach in how they cut their hair, and were very methodical. Their haircuts are much more precise than I’ve ever seen before. The boys look great in their new hairstyles! My boys liked that they got a lollipop when they were finished and it kept them busy while I checked out. Young’s has a computer system that they use to store the details of how they cut each person’s hair — blade numbers, style, and methods.
