Well, it’s Valentine’s Day weekend and I don’t have a Valentine so what do I do? That’s right! I buy myself my own chocolates. I came to Unilocal looking for a place in my area to get some nice chocolates for myself. That is when I came across Coco Couture. To make it even better, Unilocal is offering a $ 5 for $ 10 deal. I love finding deals, especially when trying something new. Score! Coco Couture is a cute little shop that sells a nice variety of chocolates and ice cream. Lately, I’ve been having a serious chocolate craving(I’m not the craziest over chocolate; I enjoy it from time to time but I’m definitely not a chocoholic) so I went for the truffles. I chose 7 truffles: pistachio, vanilla, checkerboard praline, toasted coconut, coconut curry, dulce de leche, and bananas foster. So far, I’ve only tried the vanilla. I picked the dark chocolate version which is filled with a vanilla filling. Delicious! I loved the different designs on the chocolates as well. The checkout process was seamless. I had no issues with my Unilocal deal and afterward, I had to pay about $ 4 and some change so I was a little bummed that you had to make a minimum purchase of $ 5 to use your debit/credit card. I don’t usually carry cash unless I need to but the lady who assisted me(owner or co-owner possibly?) told me that it was close enough to $ 5 and let me swipe without putting me in a position to feel like I had to get something else. To me, that is great customer service because they are willing to work with you. I can’t tell you how many times I was done shopping at another place or placing my order at a take out restaurant and had to begrudgingly add something I really didn’t want just to use my card. I look forward to coming back to try the ice cream and the Old Bay chocolate. This is a great place to go treat yourself or buy gifts for someone.

Hidden treat! Love it! My daughter found out about this place while searching«best desserts» in the area. I am so glad we stopped in. Impeccable service and delicious fine upscale treats. I think you will be hard pressed to find better tasting chocolate anywhere in the area. We first sampled the chocolate covered oreos and chocolate covered strawberries. Both were were amazing! But unfortunately we were in the mood for ice cream. I ended up with black raspberry ice cream which blew away the substandard version of Brewster’s down the street by a mile. On our way out the door we noticed they also sold gourmet dog treats. No brainer. We certainly will continue to visit regularly. Support local entrepreneurs and their businesses!

It’s odd. One table with two chairs, not a lot of ambiance. Tons of back office space and bright lighting, like the whole space is too big. The chocolate candy was good, the ice cream was obviously just shipped in from somewhere — nothing too homemade and not even many flavors. I was hoping for something much cuter and more original. What else can I say — it’s Pasadena?

The chocolate made here is the finest chocolate around and it may just ruin all other chocolate for you. It is supreme in quality and I challenge anyone to find a local chocolate shop that takes the same care in making all of their creations. Try a nutella cup, or stop in just for the peanut butter cups. Truly superior!

Love this place! I’ve already been back twice for gifts to give. Their chocolates are delicious and very affordable especially when you compare them to places in Crofton and Annapolis. And you just can’t beat the super friendly service! Love this place!

I found Coco Couture while looking for froyo shops in the area and their Old Bay chocolate convinced me to check them out. The location was easy to find, the owner was very friendly, and the chocolates and ice cream we got were all delicious. The lavender chocolate was my favorite and I can’t wait to get a box of them… and chocolate gives me a horrific headache, but they’re that good. If you’re curious about the Old Bay chocolate, too, go! You won’t be disappointed.

I found out about this place through a Facebook post by Little India Café so my husband and I decided to stop by yesterday evening. First of all the shop is adorable and overall the atmosphere is very chipper and friendly. My husband had an ice cream cone while I spent forever debating over which chocolates to get. I ended up getting an assortment of truffles that were a little pricey but we’ll worth it when I tried one at home. They did have a deal where if you but twelve truffles you get one additional truffle for free. I’m very excited about having a local chocolate shop and I’m actually planning on returning this week to buy more truffles as a gift. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by for a sweet treat. I know on August 12th they are having a Princess Party in the evening where the ice cream will be buy one scoop get one free!

The first thing you see when you enter this fresh-faced new sweets shop is the fiberglass cow seating and the wall that looks like melting chocolate. The first thing you actually notice, however, is the wonderfully friendly service that the owner and her daughter provide from the moment you walk in the door. Their in-house made ice cream flavors run the spectrum from old standby flavors like cookies and cream to unique creations like«take me out to the ballgame»(peanuts and crackerjacks in vanilla ice cream, you know, like the song). The ice cream blends could be creamier, for my tastes, but the unique flavors make the trip worthwhile. Another unique aspect to this place is their offering of a «flight» of four tiny scoops of different ice cream flavors to allow a variety of tastes, while keeping the total portion of ice cream to a waistline-loving 8 ounce serving. Far more interesting than their ice cream, however, are their assortments of chocolate truffles. There, the creativity of the owners is in full play, with creations like old bay truffles shaped like crabs to earl grey tea to wasabi ginger truffles. Also available are chocolate-covered fudge sticks – good, but over too quickly in my opinion. There are only drawbacks to the chocolates that I could detect. First, they do not currently offer any sugar-free flavors(which the owners plan to start doing soon, so this should no longer be a negative). Second, they are a bit pricey, at $ 2 per truffle, with no quantity discounts(e.g., $ 20/dozen or $ 35/two dozen). I guess that helps if one is trying to keep portions under control, but it is a deterrent to bringing home a box to share. I wish this new confectionary well, and look forward to seeing how their business evolves as they settle in.

Stopped in this shop yesterday and really enjoyed it. Loads of delectable chocolates to choose from and nice selection of ice cream. I did the 4 boat sampler which is a great compromise if you can’t decide. My favs were the praline caramel, coconut chocolate and the ball park flavor. Delicious! I got a variety of chocolates to take home(there were some samples out to help you decide). I haven’t eaten them all yet, but so far my absolute fav is the hazelnut toffee truffle. OMG it’s good. I wish I had more. May have to make a trek back for it. ;-) This is a family owned/operated place. Good luck on your new store, wish you much success!

What a local gem! Love the ice cream and the chocolates! Super friendly service and love the décor! The COWch is very clever and love the dripping chocolate walls! The Flight was such a clever idea for indecisive people like me who can’t make up their mind on which flavor to get! Their specialty flavor called TAKEMEOUTTOTHEBALLGAME was delicious. That and the coconut flavored, oh and the smores, were among my favorite flavors. Oh their Old Bay chocolate was very tasty! We will definitely be back.
