Pizza Boli’s

This is an update from my last review. I’ve since then decided to order from them again and it’s been great as it normally is the majority of the time. I still think they have the best pizza in town and hope to continue getting delicious cheesy pizza from pizza Bolis Severna park.

Good pizza. We like the crust and the sauce. Toppings have all been good. Fast delivery.

Please ignore anything lower than a 4 star rating for the SP Pizza Boli’s. My mom and dad have been eating SP Pizza Boli’s for over 10 and maybe 15 years. My parents are old school and anything less than awesome is dropped like a hot potato. For eat in; they like Ledo, cause it has lots of seating (nice).
For delivery, there is none better and more consistent than SP Pizza Boli.
On a call in, we got 2 large pizzas, cheese bread, mozzarella sticks and 2 liter of Sierra Mist. All this was about $ 35.00 delivered on a Sunday night at around 1800 local.
Smells, looks and most importantly TASTES awesome. (or I’d drop ‘em like a hot potato)
Driver was courteous and efficient. Kids love the cheese bread.
If I could buy another star for $ 5.00, I would.
Note: Again, if something in SP sucks — poof! it’s gone. There is good reason that they have flourished for so long. Bön Apatite!

Let me start off by saying, my duplex is 3.2 miles away from this particular Pizza Bolis location.
This past Saturday, boyfriend and I decided to order pizza since neither of us felt like cooking or going out. We’ve had Pizza Bolis before from a different location, and while a smidge pricey, it’s always absolutely delicious. So we figured it made sense to order from the one near my place. Absolutely the worst decision.
We ordered using the online service, and it said about 45 minutes, no biggie. All we ordered was a medium meaty pizza, and thankfully chose the pay cash option. My phone number was included with the notation to call upon arrival. An hour later, we still had no pizza, and no call. We gave it a few more minutes since it was a Saturday night, and then called the store.
The person on the phone informed us that the driver was lost, and had tried to call us (not so). He said they gave him directions and it should be only a few minutes. As soon as we hung up with him, my phone rang, it was the driver. As soon as I answered he got irate, and I passed the phone off to my boyfriend. The driver continued to get angry and berate us, yelling that we didn’t know where we lived (what?!?) and that he had crossed 97 cause that’s what the store told him to do and we were wrong. Then went on to angrily ask why we had ordered delivery when no one can find our house, and that he was going back to the store. He hung up. At this point we’re closing in on 2hrs. I called the store to inform them the driver said he was returning there, and that we were canceling the order. Before I could finish my sentence, the phone person immediately cut me off, was extremely rude and hung up on me. No apologies, no common courtesy, nothing.
We won’t ever order from this store again, this was an utterly ridiculous situation, which didn’t need to go to the extreme that it did, had the employees not had a complete melt down over the smallest of obstacles. We didn’t even care that the pizza was late, we were just hungry, and tired. Their behavior was absolutely unacceptable.

We had the great displeasure of ordering from the Serverna Park store last night, online, sent at 7:12. After calling the store after an hour, they informed us that they were «swamped» just after our order. That’s hardly believable on a Wed night, and if they were busy AFTER our order, its hard to see how that would have effected it. In any case, if finally arrived at 9:00 PM. As we both turn in early because of early mornings for work this was past our time for turning in. Our greatest mistake was not cancelling the order the first time we called, because clearly they had forgotten or not noticed it coming in.
Never again. Its hard to see why they’re still in business.

I love Pizza Bolis’ pizza, but this particular location SUCKS!
The staff is incompetent and there is no customer service whatsoever.
First incident– I ordered using their online program where I specifically chose a large thin crust cheese pizza. 45 minutes later, I was delivered a hand tossed pizza. I printed out the receipt to show the driver and he shrugged. When I spoke to the manager he told me I would have to wait another 45 minutes for their mistake? No thanks. The manager told me the next time I called and ordered from the same number that I would receive a free pizza. When I ordered a month later, I was told that they could not honor it. Are you kidding? I wrote an email to corporate where they gave me voucher to use for our next order.
Today, Friday, July 30 2010, I called around 12:15 to order 2 pizzas. I was told to pick them up in 10 mins. Because I was busy at work, I didn’t make it there until 20 mins later only to find out that their oven is broken. Yes, let me take your order and tell you to pick up in 10 mins when we have no capability to cook pizza?! And the fact that they couldn’t call to let me know that the pizzas wouldn’t be ready and that they had no idea how long it would take be helpful???
I would stay clear from this place and order else where.

Good inexpensive pizza and breaded wings.
