Dont book the sugar maple cabins unless you want to pay over 60% more than the previous year. Wyndham purchased these cabins last year and hiked up the price substantially. A 3night stay that was $ 579 is now over $ 1000 for 3 nights(same dates).

Our cabin had a broken bed. You literally rolled towards the ground. We received a new mattress two days in. But at over 200 a night it woulda been nice to begin with. Pull out couch was also broken, so no help there. Carpet had large urine stains and was torn up under the doorway so that the tackstrip was exposed. Couches-all three were souled and stained. We through the extra blankets over them. The first day there We called Wyndham. Previously called sugar maple cabins and they offered to move us 20 «mountain» miles away to a city I had never heard of or give us 10%off. Wifi never worked, DVD player was broken and surround sound was not functional.

We have been using Sugar Creek Maple Cabins the past three years. We love coming to the smokies just to relax. This company has always had great customer service and the best part is their website. It is very easy to navigate and find out if the cabin you want is available and the price. Best part is if your a returning customer they give you a great discount, just give them a call! We have stayed at Evening Majesty all three times and the kids love it.

The Gatlinburg area boasts dozens of cabin and chalet rental companies. I’d be willing to bet literally thousands of cabins are available for rent in that area. I’d also be willing to bet that the cabin we stayed at this fall was the prettiest, homeyist, and comfortableist of them all. We wanted a cabin that had a scenic view and that was clean, functional(i.e., looked like a cabin but also had the accoutrements of modernity), and cozy. Our one-bedroom rental, called«Bearly Mine,» met those requirements… plus it had a loft with a pool table, a hot tub on the back porch, and a fairly large kitchen. We enjoyed the place immensely. Pricewise, the cabin was well within the«average» range for comparable places, maybe even in the lower end of the range. We stayed three nights, and because of the particular dates we chose, we received a discount. The staff at the check-in office(not adjacent to our cabin, by the way) were friendly and helpful. The only possible negative was the fact that we did not receive fax or email confirmation that our faxed sign-up form had been received, which made us worry a little as our trip approached; however, the fact that we had to drive down«Boogertown Road» to reach Bearly Mine made up for that one flaw.(Well, it did for me, anyway. Heh-heh. Boogertown.)
