Love this little throw-back diner. Family operated, it’s a cool place for breakfast. Love it.

I witnessed the most horrible customer service! Tonys Diner Refused service to a disabled single elderly man the day before Mother’s Day!!! This place is disgusting!!! Refused him because he was a party of 1 and not two or more! Pure discrimination is all you’ll be served here! DONOT support such a rotten business!

Worst diner ever, they refuse service if you are a party of one. They ask you to sit at bar even if you clearly are elderly and not able to. Stay away!

Incredible little local family owned breakfast and lunch spot. It reminds you of a 70s or 80s diner with the hospitality as well as the nostalgia. I could honestly say that they would never turn anyone away for trying to eat there alone but direct them to the counter instead. It only seats about 30 people and using a table of 4 for 1 person isn’t logical in any small establishment you walk into.

Great place to eat, if your by yourself grab a seat at the counter, tiny place only 30 seats don’t be that person to try take a table all to yourself

Just heard from a friend who I recommended go to Tony’s Diner in his quest for a regular breakfast place with good blueberry pancakes. GUESSWHAT! They won’t serve you as a single diner at a table. They refused my single dining friend this morning, a widower who has been breakfasting out alone for three years. Imagine how that made him feel. I will NOT go back to Tony’s Diner and will certainly not recommend it to anyone else. And now they’ve blocked me on Facebook. No worries. I will continue to spread the word.

Love this place for breakfast. The Breakfast combo woth pancakes, eggs, and sausage is delicious. It has a really cute 1950’s atmosphere as well. Definatley give this place a shot. You won’t regret it. The only time I was ever displeased was when they ran out of sausage, because it’s so good.

Old fashioned breakfast done right! Cheap and cheerful place to stop if you’re traveling on interstate 8. Don’t be turned off by the little 1950’s bungalow when you pull up. Go inside, meet Carmela and enjoy real potatoes and eggs!

Great fluffy omelette! Little pricy but you get what you pay for. Such a cool little place with nice people.

Tony’s diner is a cute local place in an authentic retro space. It’s family owned and run, and while there’s nothing fancy going on here you can count on breakfast classics done right and priced right. I especially love that they have foxon park soda in stock.

Average food for a slight price increase. Better than most. Kicks Diner 67’s bum from here to Riverdale. Now Riverdale is the joint to swing on by!

Always good food and great service. I don’t think there is any room to complain. Pricing is a little on the high side but the quality of food is much better than any of the other local diners. Egg sandwiches are so good! Homefries taste amazing. Enjoy

Best breakfast in Seymour. Not sure how Tony does what he does with those potatoes… I assume there is LOTS of butter involved. Love the chili dogs and the grilled chicken sandwich platters for lunch. Great slaw and fries. My kids love to eat here, a true family business. Easy parking, quick service and as friendly of a place as you could hope for. Foxon park soda never hurts either.

Tried a hotdog with the works and was very pleased. Split dog in a toasted roll. Nice staff who were the owners for the past 28 years. Glad I gave it a try.

On the first Saturday in December, I made my first visit to Tony’s. I enjoyed prompt, friendly service and a great breakfast at a reasonable price. And the owners happily agreed that I could work on my computer at the counter even through they were busy and space was limited. Happy to recommend this classic Connecticut diner!

We have been going to Tony’s for breakfast for about 20 years, they have been there under the same owners for 27 years. Its a small quaint diner with good hot food reasonable priced. Tony still cooks most all the food and his quality is awesome. They have limited hours basically only serving breakfast and lunch and are very busy on the weekends. There is limited seating so you may have to wait. Its a good solid place for breakfast and if you don’t have time you can get it to go.

There is no diner in the Seymour area that consistently makes us feel so welcome as Tony’s Diner, owned by the Librandi Family. Tony’s Diner serves as an unofficial meeting place for locals to eat breakfast, lunch, drink coffee, read the paper, chat with Tony, Carmela, Daniella, Mark and meet your neighbor. What more could you ask for in a diner? Buon appetito Business Hours: Tuesday through Friday — 6:00am to 2:30pm Saturday — 6:00am to 2:00pm Sunday — 7:00am to 12:30pm
