La Nails

When I’m in town visiting my family we always come to LA Nails. The staff are courteous and attentive. The technicians are personable and always up for a conversation. On top of all that, they do great work!!! I would definitely recommend this nail shop!

This is the only place in the area I’ve gotten my nails done and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. They’re professional, friendly and most importantly– clean! I’ve had probably four or five pedicures and they’ve all been great. I’m not into nail designs and other extras so I can’t comment on that stuff, but I can tell you that they use good quality products and tools– the chairs are also really nice. Get a frequent customer punch card, a glass of wine, and enjoy yourself.

Came in today just for the simple task of removing gel nails. One of the employees greeted me and sat me down although he had two customers at his table. He filled a bowl with acetone and told me to soak for a few minutes, which was weird because most nail shops use cotton and foil during a gel removal. But I went with it and waited.
A few minutes turned to 20 minutes of my hands soaked in acetone. I started to chip the polish off with my finger nail since my fingers were getting numb. He comes over and tells me to continue to dip and chip the nails off myself! :-/​If that were the case I wouldn’t have come to pay for a service I could do myself. I got up to leave and offered $ 3 for using the acetone. He told me its ok and not to worry about a charge. Thankful he at least didn’t charge me but I’ll probably never go back.

Been to a variety of nail places here in the Fort Walton area! This is one of the best by far! (Better than Jade nails) not as expensive or as out of the way as Diva (but owned by the same people I’ve heard). Came here the first time for a French pedi (my first one here) and it’s barely chipped three weeks later. Complementary drinks. Here today for my first French Mani with them.

They are very friendly and give great service. I have been going here for 10+ years but left a year out due to management change. I been back again and they still know me by name, and remember the service I usually get. The only reason I didn’t give a perfect rating because they don’t always speak English. I wish they did, the past management never made me feel awkward. They serve water or wine while you get pampered.

Since they got rid of the old (wonderful) staff with some strange hush-​hush operation (they will never answer when asked where the entire old staff went), this place has gone WAY down hill. Instead of the friendly, funny, personable, English-​speaking staff they once had, LA Nails is now just like every other nail salon. They act like they’d rather be doing something else and they always fib about how long the wait is. Plus half of them speak little to no English… difficult for communicating. They still offer a drink (including wine) while you are there, but this doesn’t make us miss the old staff any less. Bring back the old staff!!!

Do not get any of the deluxe spa pedicures. These are an extra $ 10 – 15 than the basic pedicure and not worth it. It’s pretty much the same as their basic pedicure but you don’t don’t get three exfoliating scrubs on your legs. Waist of money. And the lady who did my pedicure was very quick and you could tell that she missed a lot. I won’t be back unless it’s my only option to get a pedicure.

Great service. Clean location. Kind people. I love my nails, but even better than that was their service after I broke a nail a day later. I stopped back in and asked if they could fix the crack. They took me as a quick drop in appointment, fixed it perfectly and didn’t even charge me. Highly recommend!

nope… wont go back… gelish polish peeled off in 3 days

I love the gel manicure I get at LA Nails. It lasts over two weeks and the staff does a great job. Prices are very reasonable. I usually go on a walk-​in basis and they are very accomodating. Every once in a while I get a pedicure also and I am very happy with their services.
