Been here a few times now. Seems to get better and better. Had the burger yesterday, delicious! They have recently redecorated and it looks great! If you are in the area and looking for a nice place for a great meal, this is your place!

Very good food, friendly hometown vibe. Can be understaffed during lunch and dinner rush, leaving people waiting too long. We had an angus burger with blue cheese and sautéed onions, and a pasta with fresh mozzarella, garlic and basil — both were well prepared and flavorful, good sized portions for the price.

The only thing WORSE than the service was the food!!! After waiting ten minutes just to have someone bring us menus we had to wait another 30 to get drinks and our order in. My friend got hash browns and sausage. the hash browns came out covered in grease but very raw not even warm when she asked to have them cooked more the waitress grabbed her plate without a word and rushed them away they came back 5 minutes later STILLRAWANDCOLD!!! I got a bagel with lox and there was a CURLYBLACKHAIRINMYCREAMCHEESE!!! Awful experience horrible food very poor service! AVOIDTHISPLACELIKETHEPLAGUE!!!

I was there for lunch today, soup was delicious, corn and clam chowder, I had a tuna melt with dill and capered cheddar cheese and tomatoes as on the menu on rye and it was great, they were busy and service was fine

Stopped here for breakfast this past Sunday morning. Was ten minutes after 7, door was locked, but someone came to unlock it when I had knocked. Place was«cute», it had been years since I had been inside, before it was the current ownership. I ordered French Toast w/a side of sausage, my wife went with a bacon, American cheese & tomato omelet w/rye bread. Meals came out in about ten minutes or so, I thought my was alright, nothing really special, pretty average breakfast. My wife had assumed that potatoes would come with the omelet, our waitress never made any suggestions when we had been ordering. In fact, she really didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all, we overheard her saying to the cook that she«couldn’t wait till this day was over.» Total bill was just over $ 25, a bit expensive for what we received. Also, the men’s bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Not very impressed with the Stacked Kitchen in Sharon, but basically it’s the only game in town there. A weak 3 star rating.

As mentioned by another reviewer, this location may not be blessed! I recall it being called the Waldorf when I came up to Lime Rock for the first time. Back then I only had the breakfasts and just about anyone can make eggs, home fries and toast that passes muster. Leap ahead to last Friday when I stopped in for dinner. My godson ordered a panini that he picked at and didn’t finish(skinny kid, not a foodie) and I tried the fried chicken. I also ordered French onion soup as an appetizer. The soup was ok, hot, with crunchy croutons but they layered and melted only a single slice of mystery cheese on top. With a better cheese, it would have been much more appetizing. The chicken was also decent but instead of crispy fried skin, it was soggy and not what I expected. The large piece of chicken was placed on top of a respectable helping of mashed potatoes and a side of spinach — both good. I ended the meal with a chunk of chocolate cake. It was all going fine until I pulled a long human hair out of the frosting — yuck! Note — one of the workers has a huge mound of uncovered hair. FYI — Hair nets and caps are cheap and I wear one when I work in our local soup kitchen. I think I’m being generous with my 3 star review but this is my first visit in a few years. Plus, the locals seem to love the place. Things could have been so much better if the chef used higher quality ingredients and showed more care in preparation. The waitress was very nice, the table clean, however, the cost was high — nearly $ 60 with tip. Probably a better experience can be had in the area so I will limit my next visit to breakfast, provided the workers are wearing hair nets…

I love breakfast here, especially when I am late to get eggs and I still get eggs… thank you Kevin!!! The New England omelette is my hands down favorite. My kids adore the burgers… they even love the salads! So, last night we had plans for dinner in Salisbury that did not pan out, due to 45 minute waiting times, and every place in town swamped, so we ended up here for dinner. The service was attentive and downright sweet. The kids had their burgers and salads and were happy as clams… They do cook the burgers correctly, which is key with children. So, I had steak frites(with truffled fries) with carmelized Brussels sprouts. The meat was tender, a bit more cooked than medium, but still juicy. The sauce was a Demi glacé of some sort, the flavor was a bit off… maybe a touch too much salt? The fries were the same as the kids, with a little truffle flavor… somehow, I envisioned them as fancier, but they tasted fine. The Brussels sprouts were not carmelized and were still crunchy… like undercooked. I had a glass of Malbec that was fine. My husband had the short ribs with carmelized root vegetables. He liked the ribs, tender and good flavor. The vegetables were carmelized, but way underdone, still very firm. The bill was almost $ 100 for 4. I know the chef was not cooking last night, because I am pretty damn sure it would have been MUCH better. But, the guy who IS cooking has to deliver, especially for $ 100. It was the details that were missed in this meal and they made all the difference between a win and a miss. This place has breakfast and lunch nailed… and there is a good concept for dinner… now up the game and deliver on the concept. The devil, as they say, is in the details… and the details make the dinner.

The wait staff was poorly attentive, however not rude. I had the edamame burger, which was a very creative combination and I must say tasted better than I thought. Not a very wide variety of food, which limited me as a vegetarian(a picky one at that). The meals seemed to be made slowly yet I could’ve made them myself at home. The place caters to the New York City residents who travel here and need some sort of high brow light snack

I came here for a last meal /date before leaving Sharon. They were moderately busy for a Wednesday close to closing time, but the server was very friendly and talkative, which I like. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries. Prices were good, beer was cold. The sandwich was made authentically(not spam and easy cheese) and had an excellent taste. Better than what I expected from a town that seems to always be asleep. I would go there again if I was ever back in Sharon.

My wife and I went here for breakfast after staying across the street at the Sharon Inn. It is pretty much the only breakfast place in town, but it was quite good.

I’ve been to staked 3 times, and I really want to like it, as there are so few restaurants in Sharon. The turkey panini was better than I expected. However, in my opinion, a panini should come with fries. I had to order those separately. The two times I was here for breakfast my meal was decent, but not great. During our first visit, although the waiters were friendly, they forgot to bring out a coleslaw salad that I ordered. After informing the waitress, it was still another ten minutes before it came out, and by that time we had both finished our meals. The worst part was that there was no apology. So, it would have been great if this place was awesome, as we would eat there regularly Unfortunately, so far at least, I have been underwhelmed.

Wonderful place, wonderful owner, awesome service, great food! We were visiting Silver Lake conference center to see our daughter and attend Fri prayer service, and after it finished we and the kids were starving. We stumbled upon this place at 9pm, but that was their closing time. People we inside, so we went in. Owner greeted us and was happy to serve us, even tho they were closed. We were so thankful! And wow impressed too! Great food hit the spot!

I’ve been a weekender in Sharon for over 30 years and the location Stacked selected is rumored to be cursed. So many restaurants have shut down there after a short time that I was inclinded to stay away — until I heard good feedback about Stacked Kitchen. I was really happily surprised by Stacked and will certainly return next weekend. I had the chicken avocado bacon panini and it was delicious. My mother had a burger which she thought was very good, and she’s a foodie. And the homemake potato chips were excellent. The only downside is that I didn’t get a refill on soda which is something I expect of any restaurant outside Manhattan. The menu is terrific and I look forward to trying their breakfast. The kids menu was refreshingly wholesome. My son had the pulled pork tacos. They could have used more flavor or sauce but it was a nice change from the chicken nuggets and fries you usually see on kids menus. The décor is not pretty. Blue is a really bad restaurant wall color and it doesn’t go with their awning or other décor. It really needs a facelift at some point, but the food is very worthwhile and I recommend without hesitation. Maybe the curse is broken!

I felt that the burger I ordered was something I could have easily made at home. There was nothing special about it at all, dry, bland and with a bun that was in need of being torn up and fed to the squirrels at the park… perhaps I should have ordered one of the their specialty burgers as well but was advised by others not to. I ordered the fries with cheese on them, thinking«Oh what the hell, you only live once» and they were disgusting. It reminded me of when my roommate in college used to bake oven Ordia fires and melt slices of American cheese on them. Gross. I’m usually not such a token curmudgeon but I was pretty ticked that I spent $ 15 for lunch and got garbage. Maybe I just caught the cook on a bad day.
