My boyfriend and I loved staying in Mary Ann’s home! If you’re looking to keep to yourself and be uninterrupted, keep looking… You are treated like family here! Personalized suggestions for places to go and things to do, access to super-secret coupons and discounts at local attractions, amazing home cooked breakfasts and evening snacks, but best of all was that feeling of coming home to your favorite Auntie who wanted to hear all about your day! Mary Ann and her dad are funny, sweet, innkeepers who have never met a stranger. Easy to find with quick access to local conveniences. Thanks Mary Ann! See you soon!

Lovely inn with a lovely innkeeper! We came to the area to visit family that recently moved to the area due to work. Initially, we didn’t see too many options that seemed appealing in the area. There are lots of options for winter sports in the area… snowshoeing is huge, skiing, xcountry, dog sledding, etc., but lodgings in this immediate area were scant. We are so glad we found Mt Washington. The rooms were very cute, quaint, and comfy. This is exactly what you think of when you picture a quaint little New Hampshire Inn. It is a little off the beaten track, which was fine with us. The rooms are very cute, with very nice accents. Each room is different and very nicely decorated by the owner. There are always coffee and tea and cookies available in the dining room. The breakfast was very nice. We had french toast with baked pears and sausage. I will definitely stay here again if I need to be in this area.

I have been to a lot of B&B’s and this place is awesome. We loved the house and its scenic location. It’s centrally located just outside of town with a great views of the Mountains. A home away from home with home baked cookies and brownies; breakfast was also delicious. After a day of hiking, ziplining, taking photos of Moose and other wildlife you should be pretty beat to even think that you need TV, Booze and Ice. If you are a nature lover and want some much needed R&R, this is the ideal place. You can bring your loved one to reconnect — talk, walk and enjoy each other without interruptions. You may have an occasional vehicle drive by, but being from the city, it was almost null. It was actually nice to be able to enjoy good, old fashion, clean fun without the cable to draw attention away from one another. IF you want cable, booze and/or liquor then I recommend you go to a hotel where you may also get impersonal, continental breakfast. A B&B is not the place for you… it is not a motel! Maryann is an amazing hostess and we look forward to staying there again, next year. We highly recommend her.

My new husband and I stayed here for our first night of our honeymoon. It was very quaint, clean, and rustic. The beds were comfy and warm as was the innkeeper, Mary Ann. She was very friendly and welcoming. AND an amazing cook. The breakfast was spectacular. Spiced apples served warm, lemon blueberry pancakes, and bacon. I’m still dreaming about that bacon. My only complaint was that we heard the traffic on the road throughout the night since we had all the windows open. It would wake me up a couple of times. But that is what you get when you open your windows at night sometimes. This place was pretty close to downtown with other restaurants and shops to stop at.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Maryann in awesome and she will do anything she can to make your stay comfortable. This is a bed and breakfast so if you are looking for a hotel like place it might not be for you. It is a comfortable place and I felt at home but better. No noise, birds come up to the feeders and you can watch them. This is a place to relax with a good book and enjoy time with loved ones. While I was here I enjoyed the beautiful property and scenery. I felt I did not need a TV to keep me entertained. I have never felt so relaxed with great company. Maryann was an angel in disguise and helped me plan my days and gave me great ideas on what to do. To make it better her breakfast was delicious(stuffed french toast, specialty eggs). This place exceeded my expect ions. The area was wonderful and the people were very courteous and helpful. Words can not express how much I loved staying with Maryann in her house. I would highly recommend.

The woman who owns the place is a really nice person and I believe she tries hard. The building is attractive, vintage and clean. Breakfast is good. For some people it might be ideal, but for us it in particular it was deficient. My serious complaints are 1) NO cable. You can watch very dated viedo tapes, but really not for me in paricualr and I’m not a novel reader 2) NO ice. We like to have a drink in our room at night, no can do. We had to drive into town and beg a resturaunt for ice. 3) Pretty noisy. Traffic can be heard when it’s there but at night it’s not much. Room to room can be easily heard. If you’re a reader and a hiker or naturalist, you might like it. but it was’t for us.
