I really love this Salvation Army for a lot of different reasons. For starters, it’s pretty well laid out and organized, along with being clean and not stinky. I’ve scored some great stuff here in the past, including today when I came. I did a donation in the back first, which was easy and painless. Two guys came out and unloaded my car for me, gave me a receipt and I went on my way into the store. I always cruise both men and women’s clothes, because sometimes I find stuff in both. Today I picked up an awesome Martha Stewart table cloth for my mom that was just about brand spanking new. Aside from needing a quick iron, the thing has probably never been used. I love their knick knack section, as I’ve found stuff like candles and other trinkets in the past. Not the biggest selection, but a good one none the less. Prices here are fair, and I prefer to come here on the regular due to the reasons listed above. Parking is ample, but I’m not a fan of their parking lot as it can be a bit of a cluster in front of the store at times.

The prices are great. The store is very clean and the workers are very nice and helpful. The manager is nice and great at doing her job.

Well. they have a lot of stuff. I mean, i’m a guy so I can say straight off that if you are not a guy, or just want to walk around in women’s clothes, this is a great place to shop. Aisles and aisles of dresses, shoes and accessories for the woman in you. Not so much for the dudes. There were suit coats here that were straight out of the 70’s, and not like in a good Herb Tarlik costume kind of way. The jeans that were available were the kind that gangsters wear that hang off your rear end and the shirt selection, although plentiful, was as bland as a swap meet. I couldn’t find anything. And again with the idiotic pricing schemes. You think your so cool overcharging for that short sleeve collared shirt with a polo guy on it? It will sit there till the end of days because the guy that would have bought it got offended that it was 100% more expensive than every other shirt there.

The best price on books and a great selection. Period. At 10 for a dollar you can’t beat that. Kids and adult books included. Hardcover and softcover. EVERY book is a dime. If they change the price I will probably change my review because it really is the only good thing about the entire store. I have found everything from kids chapter books to fifty shades of grey. So with that I can honestly say there is a little something here for everyone. I check back often as their inventory flips QUICK.

This place is getting outrageously priced. Starting to think they are running a business more than helping the poor.

I am an avid SA shopper at several of their stores. This one does have an ”old & musty” feel/smell to it, and could use some sprucing up. It used to be a nice furniture store before it became a SA.

Nice store but they have the religious music turned up way to high and it’s very staticky. When someone asked them to turn it down cashier just gave a rude look and didn’t turn it down.

Smells HORRIBLE but when you get passed that, there are treasures galore for DIY ers… Great book prices too — Bought a brand new sweatshirt there and I could never get the smell of the place out of it. I tossed in in my give away box unworn…:(

I found a great vintage lamp/table here for CHEAP. It’s one of my favorite finds because it fits right into my 1950’s living room like it was always meant to be there.(Found the perfect lampshade for it at the Hall Rd. location.) Once I have my hubby double check the«vintage» wiring, I’ll be ready to flip that switch. Let there be light! This feels like an older store, but they offer a large selection of all the regular thrift store«stuff». Definitely worth a slight detour on the drive home for me to stop in and check for more possible treasures.
