Friendly, smart, knowledgeable owner, exceptional selection, comfy reading spot, a touch of west coast atmosphere on the East End.
Directly across is a microbrewery and little deli place.
Features excellent art, botanical, and regional books as well as the $ 2 paperback great children’s section, history and unusual books. Will keep you thrilled for years of visits.

Great used bookstore. Amazing bookstore in general. They have a lot of hidden gems inside. The prices are very reasonable. Not too expensive. Most likely you will go in there spending at least 10 dollars. Their art and photography selection is huge. I believe that is what they are known for on Shelter Island. A lot of their books are out print which is pretty cool. You will definitely find a hidden gem in this store.
