Waitress was fantastic! Best fried mushrooms EVER! Portion sizes on the spot. Food had flavor and hone made pie!

Super super staff. They were so nice. We only had coffee and pie, but it tasted great.

After camping at Olympic National for a few days I was looking for a good hot breakfast. And Blondies delivered in a big way. Get the Country Benedict for a meal that will stick to your bones after exploring the wilderness.

Nice, small town café. It looks like one of those places where people in town gather for coffee and the occasional casual meal. They have a pretty large menu, diner style. I was disappointed at my grilled cheese and toast. It was OK, but not diner great.

Really good home made diner food, staff is super friendly and the biscuits and gravy are to die for! We will definitely be coming back to Shelton just for Blondie’s!

We went to Blondie’s on a recommendation from our family in Shelton. The food was good and the service was good. I ordered a Ruben sandwich. It was refrigerated… odd! I have always had that as a hot sandwich. I would go back!

Blondie waited on us. I think this is the perfect place for the diner type food. It is advertised as home made and I believe it. We had their burgers and fries. YUMMY. I really wanted to try their home made pie, but I was too full. I will be back to try their pies. Give this small business a try! I enjoyed talking to Blondie who I think helps add personality to this place too! ;)

The coffee is really really bad, very watery. May have been an off day or something though. I had the mac and cheese with ham which was good but definitely made with velveeta and definitely needed salt and pepper. My partner had the fried chicken with corn and mac and cheese. The breading on the chicken was really hard but otherwise the chicken was good. Our waiter/busboy(?) kept reaching across all of the patrons to refill the sugar, jams and jellies, and hot sauce. Seems like he could have waited until we were gone but ours was not the only table experiencing this. He wasn’t really paying very much attention us either, forgot things a few times etc but he may have been tired. Overall the food was satisfactory and the place is clean and well lit and we might come back. There are two toilets directly next to each other in the ladies restroom so just in case you want to potty with your bff…

Small town diner with solid food, attentive service, and a cast of characters to match. I couldn’t help but notice the gentleman next to me putting Tabasco sauce in his coffee. At any rate the biscuits and gravy were delightful, coffee wasn’t too bad, and the waitresses were sweeter than peach pie. The world could use more places like this.

Five stars for what this place is… a rock star old school little ma and pop diner in the middle of nowhere.(no offense) Great service, we came here very early before riding at the track nearby and were staying at the Shelton inn. First of all I said I needed coffee and our waitress laughing brought me a huge cup. A place like this you know is going to do a couple of awesome things. Country gravy and hash browns. It didn’t disappoint. I got biscuits and gravy with a couple of eggs and hash browns. Full most of the day. Whoever said this place was expensive needs to get over to Seattle for breakfast then come home and be thankful he lives in Shelton WA. Breakfast with coffee and juice was like $ 10. Place was clean enough and all though a very local feel everyone was very nice and outgoing. I can’t wait to go back.

Blondies was easy to find. I’ts on Railroad Ave. I had the Sausage and Cheese(cheddar) omelet, with hashed browns and toast. The table had 2 types of tobbasco, ketchup, mustard and coffee creamer all ready for the taking. The browns and toast, were fine. They were browns and toast, as advertised. Now…the omelet. My oh me oh my. The Sausage and Cheddar omelet is made with 3 eggs(ostrich?) and what seemed to be 15 lbs of delicious sausage… mooh oink oink. Yummy. I left with an un-wanting stomach, which is not a common exchange between myself and my stomach. He usually is begging for a second helping of everything; hence, I may even be able to skip lunch today. I’m sure when they installed the 1,000 lbs door at the main entrance, they had methamphetamine addicts in mind. Not a single meth addict was able to get through that door, this morning(yes, I rushed home to write this review). It was a nice experience. I did, however, feel compelled to hold the door for each and every patron entering and leaving the establishment. :p 5 Stars!

For a diner, it was pretty good. Sure, the«Swiss cheese» on my omelette was processed something; sure, the corned beef hash the boyfriend got was pretty bad; sure, the place had a number of other problems that I could list. This is a diner, though, and it gets compared to other diners, not fine dining. You don’t order anything fancy at a place like this, you order diner food. I’m not sure why they even have a Florentine omelette on the menu. They could certainly trim the menu down some and focus on what they’re good at. The Florentine omelette was pretty good anyway, but I bet they’d be better at just a ham and cheese one. Overall, the service was fine and the food was fine. Considering the brunch options in Shelton aren’t all that great, this place is just fine.

Blondie is an absolute sweetheart, very welcoming. My friends were visiting from out of town and we wanted a solid breakfast. It is great home cooking of huge portions, I had to take a doggy bag.

Great diner with good menu choices, including light fare. Some of the best french fries ever. From summer 2011

Decent enough breakfast spot, but nothing to rave about… Most recently I had the ‘hungry man’ breakfast: eggs to order, choice of meat, hashbrowns or homefries, and a ½ order of biscuits & gravy for $ 9.25. I thought the biscuits were too tough and the gravy was rather bland, but otherwise the meal was pretty good. The waitress kept the coffee coming and the bill wasn’t too bad. All in all, an OK meal and dining experience.

This is a solid place for a meal, and as their menu says, some people eat here three meals a day. For breakfast Blondie’s biscuits are huge, and coated in a generous creamy sausage gravy. Although the hashbrowns are perfectly acceptable, the home fries are the obvious choice with caramelized onions and great flavor. I’ve never gone wrong with the sandwiches or fried oysters for lunch and dinner, and the daily specials are made from scratch in a way mama would approve of. Be sure to check the whiteboard for the 8+ homemade desserts available daily, including multiple pie flavors.

I haven’t been to Blondie’s in years, so my review admittedly may not be all that relevant anymore, but… From what I remember it was a very solid place. I love the small town diner feel and this is one of the best I’ve ever been in, and by far the best in Shelton. I’ve mostly had their breakfasts but what I’ve sampled of other parts of the menu have been solid as well.

I am staying at the Shelton Inn, which is conveniently located next door to Blondie’s. After I checked in to the motel, I wandered over to check out the Blondie’s. The restaurant is a small town diner, which has a comfortable & familiar feel to it even though I’ve never been here before. Since I was dining solo, I sat down at the counter. The menu is pretty large for a small diner… the server helped me navigate it and I narrowed it down to the Blue Cheese Burger with Fries. While I was waiting for my meal to be prepared I sipped on a bottle of Rainier Beer, which is a local brew. It wasn’t bad… as the server describes it…“It’s a traditional hometown brew that doesn’t disappoint”…I would agree with that assessment. The burger came out pretty fast… I couldn’t wait to take a bite. I decided I would put some of the Fries on top of the Burger, which was a good move… it really added to the flavor. The Burger was juicy and there was just the right amount of Blue Cheese as to not overwhelm the overall taste. I enjoyed my dining experience here and will probably eat here once or twice before I leave Shelton.
