I work near Dj’s and they are prompt and even know many of us by name and greet us as such on the phone. Perfect place to eat and the pizzas are wonderful especially the hot oil and their hamburger pizza

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. About 6 months ago after being so sick of the horrible delivery pizza in Stratford/​Shelton someone told me about DJ’s. I couldn’t be happier. The food is always delicious no matter what you get. The delivery driver is always pleasant and nice. The food comes really quick compared to any other place I’ve ever ordered from. I don’t think it’s ever taken over 40 minutes not even on a Friday night. Their white garlic bread pizza is so amazing ! This is the only place I’ll ever order from for pizza/​grinders now for delivery.

Updating review because of the consistently great delivery service I get from DJ’s. It’s always faster than expected and the food is hot and delicious. Definitely order from DJ’s and you won’t be disappointed!

In the Derby area it is next to impossible to find good delivery, but DJ’s has allowed us to get no only great pizza, but great Italian food delivered straight to our door. They are always prompt and thorough on the phone when we order, remember our address (based on phone #), and are true to their delivery times. We love this place and we are so glad to have found it.

We ordered the Supreme pizza, large, for pickup. The pizza was ready and hot. It was delicious! The crust was average thickness, but better than average taste. The toppings were generous, fresh and great quality. The onions were sweet and freshly chopped, fresh mushrooms and a variety of peppers. The sausage chunks were large and tasty. Plenty of pepperoni too. Very flavorful! We’ll be back! The only negative was that the menu is only visible through GrubHub, which I did not want to install on my phone. On the computer, you can’t see different sizes or a list of toppings, unless maybe you create an account.

We kept seeing the delivery cars around town and decided to try it. Now I know why they are seen every where! Not only was the pizza very good, but we appreciated the brand personality shown in the ordering process (ordered online through the website/​GrubHub) and the good service provided by the delivery person. We started with a basic 3 cheese, which was very tasty.
I don’t know why it took us so long to try DJs. We have both lived in town for a long time, though we don’t order delivery very often. When we go for pizza, we usually head to New Haven. It’s good to know we have such a good place in town.
We will be trying DJ’s again and recommending to others.

Awesome mozzarella sticks and the pizza is great too (though it was not hot, just warm-​ish both times)! Super quick service and very friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable too! Definitely plan on ordering from here in the future.

The first time we went there was over the summer and my mom called the order in for pickup. Guy on the phone, might’ve been DJ, was super nice and when I went to pic, the food up, gave us a little discount and a free 2 liter of soda. The food was really good, we got a plain cheese pizza, and a couple of dinners which were loved by everyone. Ordered there a few more times and each time the food and service was just as good as the first.

I saw a DJ’s pizza advertisement in the shopping carts at Shoprite. Not only was the hot oil pizza the bomb but the guys answering the phone and delivering the pizza were the nicest people ever! This has become my regular pizza spot

I ordered wings and a large cheese pizza while staying at a hotel in Shelton. The delivery was fast (ordered through grub hub) and the pizza was delicious!!! The wings weren’t the best I ever had, but the pizza more than made up for it. Yum!

Average pizza. Got the meat lovers and it was alright. Nothing life changing but it was convenient seeing as they delivered to the Marriott hotel down the street I was staying at.

placed an order to deliver 25 minutes before close.
Pizza was fresh and tasted pretty good.
BUT, I have to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to their Caesar Salad — the lettuce was perhaps the freshest lettuce I have ever had at pizza place, heck, maybe even an Italian Style Restaurant. The salad came with fresh shaved cheese on top. And the dressing? It was one of the best Caesar Dressings I have had in a long long time!

I order from DJ’s with relative frequency. This is a very well-​rounded pizza joint with a name that betrays its quality. They have some of the best wings and grinders in the area. Their pizza is above average as well. I’ve only ever ordered delivery, so I can’t speak for service on location.

I’ve never been to DJ’s location, but we have ordered from them many times. Their deliver is very fast, always comes hot, and they do an excellent job with the notification system that is integrated into
. They almost always beat the initial estimate for delivery.
Pizza: Good, thin-​crust with most cheese than sauce. Not my favorite style, but it hits the spot.
Pasta: Excellent and all orders come with a good roll and excellent salad
Sandwiches: Excellent and come on either a grinder or hard roll. (Very few places in the area deliver hard roll sandwiches)
Prices are also a bit better than their competitors. Highly recommended!

Came here one snowy evening.
The staff was friendly and patient while i decided what i wanted to get.
i ordered hot oil, mushrooms and broccoli pizza. The pizza was okay. nothing special. but was really soggy. The toppings were sparse.
Overall, it was something to eat and open until 11. It didn’t satisfy my pizza craving thou. probably wont be back unless it’s late night and looking for pizza

We started ordering from here because it’s the closest in location to us. I really like the hot oil pizza. And the service when you call for delivery is the best I’ve ever experienced. Very friendly.
We ordered from here too many times and my kids lost the taste for the pizza. Those finicky kids.
Once they lose the taste for the next place, we’ll order from here again.
My only complaint is that sometimes there are charred pieces on the crust that surprise my taste buds. When the crust is good, it’s good though. Thin, crispy and usually just burnt enough to be nice.
The service bumps this place up to a 4 star from a solid to high 3.

Should work on better ingredients in some pizzas like the clams one.
