Mendoza’s Texas Style Food

I’ve eaten here a dozen or so times and it’s always been great. Good price, freindly people and great food!

Great Tex Mex! Reminds me of home (AZ). Very affordable menu options. I especially like the deep fried jalapeños. The street tacos and carne asada burritos are also very good. This is my regular Mexican food fix. The only slight downside is it is out of a trailer and seating is outdoors. I keep seeming to go on sunny days so its perfect! Glad to live close by!

Surprisingly good Mexican good in the middle of nowhere. Chicken enchiladas had the right amount of spice, and the meat was delicious. Why they leave the seeds and ribs in their fried jalapeños is beyond me, though. Ouch.

With las Palmas closed for renovations we opted to try Mendoza’s. They are really good about posting the special of the day on their facebook page. Their prices are extraordinarily reasonable for the amount of food you get. Since it is a truck the menu is not huge but they have the usual tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. along with the Mendoza burger and a steak sandwich ($ 6.95). Most of the items run $ 5.95 with the special usually at $ 5. The burger is $ 4.95 and for another dollar you can add an order of fries or onion rings.
The food is good and service is quick and friendly. I am hoping to get there some morning to try one of their breakfast burritos that runs a whopping $ 2.50. Other than the breakfast burrito all of the entrees come with an onion ring and a fried jalapeño which have been quite tasty. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area and don’t have an expense account.

This is a favorite of my co-​workers. Food is cooked fresh to order and there is a daily special. Portions are moderate. Menu selection is small but this is a food truck so perfectly understandable. My lunch was hot and flavorful with fresh ingredients. Lunch order is served with freshly made onion rings and/​or battered and deep fried whole chili pepper. Outside seating available.
