A chain that does it right, starts with a great standard like Texas BBQ. Great sides, must eats include the Mac and Cheese and the Italian sized green beans with a special country style flavor. Even the Country Music playing in the background inspired creative thinking. Even though it’s a chain it’s off the chain. It does need WIFI and honey on demand… lol…

Excellent ribs. The best in town I think. The BBQ is good. The sausage is good. Their fresh rolls are wonderful.

Way over-rated! Very expensive and the portion are very small… You will leave there still hungry… Will never eat there again! There are a lot of other barbecue restaurants that are way better…

Not so fast I say. I had the misfortune to go there and try this place out and I won’t be returning. You know those meats that make you go huh what am I really eating, well in my opinion this place was one of those hmmm moments.

One of the best BBQ places!!! Great service and food!!! Large portions down to the kids meal! Self serve your sides! Get your rolls right out of oven — Hot & Fluffy!

The staff was nice, the food was good. Decent price, I suppose! That’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars. Quite frankly, if you eat your money’s worth of sides, you’re golden. The sides are ALLYOUCANEAT, so there’s the trade-off! But other than that, it’s great. Definitely would recommend.

Went in today, had a sandwich basket. Sausage was same flavor as a hot dog. There was no BBQ sauce on my BBQ sandwich. I asked an employee for some sauce when I was at my table, he just pointed and said its over there. Not sure where since I did not see any & since I didn’t want to leave my 5 year old daughter alone at the table. I ate my hotdog meat with ketchup.

Over priced for the amount of food you get which is not much. I complained to management that I got a giant bun with hardly any meat but they give you a thousand fries. The manager really didn’t care he said that’s what everyone gets which was wrong because the person I was eating with had a bigger sandwich. I will never eat at a spring creek again. Stay away plus the bbq was really just okay nothing special.

Stopped by driving up to Conroe. Excellent service and tasty food. Good value for the price. Manager took our order and this staff runs like a well oiled machine. Bread girl made 2 kids(who she was serving ice cream) think they got«special» ice cream. Everyone was chopping food, making taters, hot fresh bread, cleaning off tables… nobody was just standing around. Staff did all this while engaging customers and with smiles & pleasant attitudes. Well run location, it does seem.

Really good BBQ. Not too dry, an assortment of sides which really hit the spot. Just a little pricy, but what good place that serves meat isn’t? I keep coming back for more.

I go to this restaurant about once per month for their smoked beef brisket. I’ve tried take home orders of several of their meats. They have been ok. Brisket –a «blend» or «moist» remains my favorite, the«lean» option is usually way too dry for my enjoyment. The sides are pretty good, but standard for a barbecue restaurant– potato salad, cole slaw, mac and cheese(the creamy kind like you get with Velveeta, not a baked type) and beans that look kind of like ranch style beans. The fresh hot bread is dangerously good! It would be so much better with real butter. I don’t know what their pats of yellow«spread» are. With everything else being good basic and real, the«spread» seems strangely out of place and artificial. Their peach cobbler will be a «pass» for me in the future. Even Blue Bell ice cream on top of the current cobbler version doesn’t make it worthy in my book. The young wait staff are always cheerful and pleasant. In short, the sliced beef is worth the trip by itself. The hot rolls are delicious. They could improve by offering real butter for the bread, and by having a server refill beverages at the table. Improving the peach cobbler could be an easy fix. I could easily do without Fox News and ESPN on multiple screens.

Not impressed at all. This is just another mainstream franchise that takes no real pride in real bbq. I’ve heard good things, but maybe at one time when it was only 1 store and they actually slow cooked and cared about taste. Even pappas bbq is better. IF you want real bbq that is very tender and has real slow cooked smoked taste, then drive a little further on down to Hungry Farmer at crosstembers and I-45 or Damaris BBQ at 610 loop and 18th st.

By far the best barbque ever. Rudy’s, Pappa’s BBQ have nothing on Spring Creek. It is sooooooo delicious.

Love Spring Creek and the staff! Always great food and friendly staff. Everyone there makes eye contact and speaks — love that. Also suggestions are made and yes they are upselling but how do you say no to cobbler when it is offered? Best BBQ in The Woodlands area– hands down

I always enjoy this place. Their staff is ALWAYS friendly and eager to serve their guests. They appear to enjoy their job and understand the concept of good customer service… with a smile I’ve enjoyed the loaded baked potato and the chopped beef sandwich. But the last two visits I’ve had the rib plate. I’m generally not into ribs but I sampled my husbands and I was hooked. They are perfectly seasoned and slide right off the bone they’re so tender. All plates come with all the sides you can load on your plate, so come hungry. They also have someone come by your table with fresh baked rolls about every 15 minutes or so. They’re soooo good, I find it hard to resist. Peach cobbler is baked daily and you can get it a la mode if you like. So if your looking for great BBQ and service, this is my recommendation!

Yummy! This is our go-to place for delicious BBQ. Very family friendly casual cafeteria-style restaurant that offers super hospitable service. We bring our out of town guests here and get dinner to go and we are never disappointed. Hot rolls are freshly baked and delivered to your table and my kids devour them. BBQ pulled pork, brisket, chicken and ribs are the favorites for us. Giant baked potatoes and yummy sides like cole slaw, whipped potatoes and macaroni and cheese always make it on our plate. The mac and cheese is a little bland for me but the kids love it. Peach cobbler is a sweet ending. Great place for families.

Really great place to get a quick meal. The food is served cafeteria style. You first order your meat and then fill your plate with as much mac and cheese, green beans, or potato salad as you like. The servers come around with free bread. The brisket, sausage and turkey are awesome! We were in and out of there within 20 minutes for a quick lunch before shopping.

Cool cafeteria style with booths and picnic tables to choose from. Brisket was excellent and macaroni was quite cheesy and tasty. Also got their Signature salad with turkey — fresh lettuce and turkey was delish. For out-of-towners, we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent! Friendly people and loved when they delivered soft, hot rolls right to our table.

We like Spring Creek Barbecue because we love the deal with the sides. The barbecue is authentic Texas barbecue and of course the bread is irresistible to say no to a second piece. I liked the beef and sausage plate and the desserts were tempting but I said no to myself. One can easily share a plate between two people to avoid over eating and a high priced bill. Be careful to everone who gets a plate of barbecue! The counter top is hot… I managed to burn my self but not to bad. Second, the free ice cream is only on Sundays. I will be back to Spring Creek to eat the delicious BBQ again!

I always ask that they remove the foil from my take out potato BEFORE they cut it because I don’t want fragments of aluminum in my food. They always assure me they will. I just found fragments of foil in my food. Aluminum is not safe to use with food, in my opinion. I wish this place would honor my wishes instead of lying to me.
