We are now sitting here and eating one of the best Thai food in the Valley. We are coming here for years and the food just keep getting better and better. Love it!

I’ve been coming to this place for 3 years. It is the go-to spot for a low key happy hour and delicious Thai, Japanese, or Chinese cuisine. You can’t beat 4 dollar imported beers either!

Yum! Very delicious! I lived in SE Asia for two years and Anajak Thai is authentic. A gem in Sherman Oaks! The Pad Thai was incredible and the fresh spring rolls were the best I’ve had in recent memory. Staff was very friendly and hardworking.

This Thai family owned restaurant is the shit. It’s a gem that will leave you feeling super satisfied if you’re craving Thai. The pork Satay was moist and yummy. We also got the veggie panang curry and paired it with some amazing roti.

I don’t know what the fuck everyone is talking about! This place is a dump! The floors are nasty stained damaged carpets, the chairs are all different colors and dirty. I walk in and the waiter/host/cook took forever to take my order. F this place!

This place is by far my favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. Ricky is such a great host and always is so gracious. The food is fresh and unique Thai not like the other places you may find.

We love Anajak! This is by far the best Thai I’ve had. Yes, their Pad Thai, satay, Thai tea are amazing! Last time we decided to try something new. We ordered pork satay, the fish of the day, and spicy duck. Each dish was delicious and gorgeously plated. Something we could expect at an expensive exclusive restaurant! I can’t say enough good things about the food and the owners!

Very slow business. The guy who took out order was very straight to the point. Just kind of asked you«what do you want?» I kind of liked the idea of the pitcher of soda they gave because then I didn’t have to ask for a refill too much, considering how small their cups were. The Skype was really good though, really sour and lemony. I don’t remember which curry I got but it was amazing. Really spicy and really good! The rice was a bit dry but still edible.

OMG this place is legit. Super impressed with their small but powerful menu(this is how I know the ingredients are fresh and in season vs. a huge effing menu with tons of ingredients they need to stock). Some amazing dishes included: cumin spiced pork satay, green curry beef(I’m not even a fan of green curry and this stuff is delicious), THEBRANZINO, and the sweet and spicy chicken wings. Ok, I need to stop because I’m salivating on my keyboard. Oh, also Stevie Wonder happened to stop by to pick up food to go. That was pretty cool.

The negative reviews for this place puzzle me a little bit. If you want some real authentic flavorful Thai food — this is the place to go. They also have a pretty good wine selection, and a good happy hour. Absolutely delicious!

You know you give places a chance when the reviews are good and there are a few bad ones. This is one where I should’ve never given the benefit of the doubt. The single star reviews are most accurate. I have never been sick from a Thai restaurant and I think it was from the Thai iced tea. Mine came in a small skinny cup for $ 4 since I chose not to have ice. They’re $ 3 with ice. There wasn’t much creamer in it and it looked gray and she said stir it in and it’ll be fine. Well 10 hours later I’m still wishing I never ate there. I have the worst acid reflux and I have a super strong tummy and tolerance. We started with chicken satay and they were half the size of normal satay so it was like mini satay. Fried tofu was drenched in oil and dark brown like it was fried in dirty oil and sat in it that each piece let out about half a teaspoon of oil. I had to used a few napkins to absorb the oil just to be able to eat a few. The beef in our curry was gristly and some pieces had a foul taste; we spit most of it out because we couldn’t chew through it and/or couldn’t take the taste after the curry was off it. Curry was $ 12 and you don’t know that it doesn’t come with the small bowl of rice until you see $ 3 added onto your check because it isn’t on the menu so I guess your supposed to have it without rice, like a soup??? The pork collar was good but overpriced for bbq pork and was more like an appetizer than an entrée. It is sliced pork on a bed of shredded cabbage décor/filling. Service was okay or as expected. Never got a refill on regular iced tea and it came in a very small wine glass. We would never ever eat here again and would never recommend anyone to go. Hubby rarely ever tells me to write a Unilocal review and he reminded me three times after this experience! Worst $ 60 we’ve ever spent to eat for 2.

This place is amazing! I’m an official Thai food snob, and this place is great! Authentic Food, but very fresh and layered with flavor. The service is wonderful, family owned, and you can feel the love in the food. My new favorite Thai place in LA for sure!

We enjoyed this place. My son said that it was a more formal Thai place and that explains it a little for me. The spices are mild and I think anyone just starting with Thai food would like this place. It’s a great start to Thai food.

This place kinda missed the target for me. I was looking for a new thai spot to try with my sister and we decided to check this place out. A couple of times I have passed this place, it’s closed because they are closed on mondays. When my sister and I came here they were barely opening at 11:45 even though they are supposed to open at 11:30…not a big deal… one of the 1st two parties of the lunch hour. Anyways the server gave us our menus and let us peruse the menu. My sister was slightly disappointed in the variety wanting calamari which wasn’t on the menu. But her experience got slightly better throughout, but not by much. As for drinks, I got a Thai iced tea and my sister got a coke. They gave her a carafe for refills, which was really smart since she always needs a refill. Now for the food. I got pad thai shrimp, and it missed the mark. I’m not usually picky about pad thai shrimp, but it didn’t have as much flavor as I wanted and the noodles were off. My sister got the curry with sticky rice and the Tom yum shrimp. She thought both dishes were good, and the Tom yum shrimp was pretty good and sour —just the way she liked it. Would I come back??? Maybe not… as i think there a few better thai places in the valley to check out.

Absolute deliciousness — as soon as I tasted the chicken satay I knew the rest of the food was going to be amazing. I normally hate spicy and sour soups but their Tom Yum soup was so good I had two bowls. Very light and refreshing yet full of meaty deliciousness. The Panang sent me to heaven. OMG! This is my favorite dish!!! Wow!!!

My boyfriend and I love it here. He lives in the valley so this is our go-to thai restaurant. I believe it is family owned and run. The owners are great and extremely attentive. The food is phenomenal and service is quick. Definitely would recommend this spot for a nice fulfilling dinner. Love their yellow curry and also drunken noodles

The food was flavorful and prompt. I had the garlic shrimp and added baby corn. I felt the prices were reasonable. Very Friendly staff.

This thai place is really good. It’s my first time here. I got the Spicy Drunken Noodles and it’s delicious! My friends got the Chicken Satay and Pad Siew, both are good too! More so, the owner gave us free thai iced tea. A great way to end this week’s lunch!

My brother & I found this place randomly one Wednesday afternoon, and being that we’re new to LA, we’re always on the lookout for restaurants serving our favorite foods. The ambience was open and inviting. It wasn’t crowded, so we were greeted immediately by Cindy, who was super sweet and attentive. The searing is large enough to not feel crowded, but it’s definitely not a big place. We wanted to take advantage of their happy hour and got a decent serving of plum wine(the only other thing on the happy hour menu to drink was saki). Cindy makes sure to explain the wines also if you’re not familiar and will even give you taste samples of you want to try before ordering! The food was really good. We ordered 2 servings of rolls as an appetizer, which were piping hot(that’s a good sign I think) & then I ordered pad Thai, & the serving was enough for me to actually get full. Cindy made sure our glasses were always filled with water, and even took time to learn our names and have a brief conversation with us(after we were done eating, of course lol). The best part was, for all that we had, the bill only came to around $ 40! Super affordable for good food and good service in my book! Upon leaving, Cindy told us to make sure we come back… no worries Cindy, we will!

This is a decaying, mediocre Thai restaurant that might have been nicer in earlier years. Much of the small menu can be made vegan upon request(simply ask your waiter), but there’s nothing particularly interesting or unusual here. I got the cashew stir fry with tofu and brown rice($ 12). I thought the dish would be spicy and colorful but instead it was a heap of dense tofu dumped on some brown rice with no care. There were few cashews and no other vegetables(how about some bell peppers?). The sauce tasted more like a cheap, sticky teriyaki than a robust, spicy Thai sauce. The portion size was small. Don’t expect leftovers. I also got an order of egg rolls, which were decent but, then again, how can you mess up anything that’s fried?
