Baleadas are the only thing I have had so far but I have Honduran friends that co-sign for me… One of the best they’ve had. Will come back to try more soon.

I only had one dish Tajadas con pollo frito, was good … 4 stars because the chicken was a bit over fried so the sauce help out with that… Overall satisfied.

First time I came service was great and friendly good delish. This time food was still good but the waitress was not attentive took forever to get anything and it wasn’t even packed. Took 15 minutes to get the bill. I had to get up and ask for it again. THEN there is this waitress that is wearing something that is supposed to be a skirt however her whole bottom is showing as she bends over and cleans table. Very distasteful especially since this is a family environment super unprofessional and gross. No one wants to see that. Glad I didn’t bring my step son.

I love their food. Everything tastes so gooood. My only concern is that they only accept cash. But other than that, I am extremely satisfy with their food and service :)

I was there few years ago to watch honduras game with my family I was seating in my table and the owner came to me and told me you need to move .and I said why .she said that table is reserved I said no is not. Well you need to move because you are not spending money and she said the other people I waiting for they going to spend money more than you. For me that is not right I not recommended this place.

I’ve been coming to El Katracho for about five years now. At first it was really good, but the past couple of years portions seem to have gotten smaller and it is a hit and miss with one the honduran staple, the«baleada». Last time I was there was because my husband wanted to watch a big game. BIG mistake! Customer service is definitly lacking, especially of you speak English. I just ordere two baleadas and a can of coke and it was ten bucks, no joke. The baleadas are really small here your better off heading over to Noho to Ledy’s; awesome baleadas can be found there, in fact the best in the valley. I haven’t missed this place since finding Ledy’s.

Absolutely amazing Baleada’s and pupusas, everything is made by hand so sometimes it takes a long time, awesome orange sauce they provide with chips and pupusas and it is delicious.

This restaurant never fails me! I’m half Honduran and it makes me feel like Great to actually feel the full culture. The wonderful lady’s work really hard, much respect ! Perfect place to do karokee and dance punta ! I just LOVEEE coming here! My cousins have come down from South LA just to eat their famous baliadas !

Well I will start off with the food. I love their baleadas! I have been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years and everything I have ordered has been delicious! Now in regards to the service, tonight I had the worst experience ever! My server was this girl Anita. She did not even greet us or asked what we wanted to drink! She just went to the table and dropped off the menu. 10 minutes later she came and asked if we were ready but with a very bad attitude. I had to get up to ask for extra sour cream and had to ask the other server to bring my family and I the chips they give when you first sit down. Anita is not a girl I want as a server! Another thing, this Anita girl was wearing a mini skirt that i saw her ass! It was disgusting! But aside from her the other servers have been great in the past!

Food not all that, check your cutlery because one of our knives had crusty food stuck on it. I told the waitress and she didnt even appologize and didnt even bother to bring us a clean one. One of our plates had cold meat and they did exchange it reluctantly. Also, their jaiba soup had no veggies only soup and some jaiba. will not be coming back. Not a friendly place!

Being excited to come to eat native food, is not what happens here. The wait is unbearable make sure you come having had food before. This place of food requires being full first to make well digestion to further their wait time. The waitress’s always have bitchy resting face, never happy to great you. Pushy with menus or being able to explain to some what the menu items are. The food is okay not the best but dam for this wait time, I rather grow the crops myself. It sucks because this place has potential but who ever owns it can’t seem to keep enough staff, I see all these need cooks ASAP, they are dying here. I don’t know how they still are running, it’s embarrassing. We came in ordered and three other tables got food before us. I’m also flabbergasted at the fact that I had to look for the waitress to get a cup of water, a soda, the to go box and the check. Not at all customer friendly, and I’ve no clue what time the club hours are but jeez. Why would you blast music when there’s only 3 people in the restaurant still waiting for food. The carne asada was burnt to a charcoal, old rice, beans looked old, it was just a lot, on top a hot summer day, I was hot, hotter inside, waiting, waiting over an hour and twenty minutes for some Pupusas! Second and Last time ever trying to give you a chance. You make catrachos look bad, our people, our culture and our food.

The food was tasty and the service was good. Not great but not bad. The worst thing was that conversation was completely impossible because of the music. Plus the videos of salsa dancers were at times bordering on soft porn and there were kids in the restaurant. I’d say don’t bring kids.

The waitress who takes the orders is very simple, not upbeat, wouldn’t kill her to crack a smile. It’s the main thing that bothered me. So the customer service is not as it should be, minus one star because that’s very important for business. Chips aren’t good, they do taste stale and they need better air conditioning system because it was very hot outside and warm inside. I always have the baleadas so I love them but other than that, the breakfast is mediocre and my dad loves their soup. 3⁄5 stars

This place is just OK. There are not that many Honduran places in Los Angeles, so for a quick craving it does just fine. Now, their ground beef is plain disgusting, and their chips stale at best. We decided to give them a second chance, but we will not be returning. The maracuya juice tasted old. The food was not fresh. Service was just OK.

Exceptional food. The baleadas are incredible! I get them every time. The sopa de jaiba is very good, as close to the real deal you’ll get here in the US. Everything has great taste!

I really wanted to like this place… I came with a party of two at 7:00 in the evening. –Cash only sign should have been outside. And cash only suggests that they don’t pay tax on the money. They don’t give a receipt. –The fake smoke everywhere was disorienting and made the food taste musty. –The plastic cups smelled terrible, and the water was unfiltered. –Loud, loud music. It gave an air of authenticity, but it was just too loud for my liking. –They overcharged by about $ 5.00, as stated in a different review. It was almost $ 40.00 for two people, and the amount of food given did not reflect the exorbitant price. No tip. I ordered: –Grilled chicken/beef skewers: Simply awful. They gave extremely small portions of meat that weren’t even worth $ 5.00 much less $ 14.00! THREETINY, TASTELESS pieces of chicken, and the steak was like chewing gum. The salad on the side was simply disgusting. The refried beans were the only part of that dish –Conch soup: Interestingish… The conch soup was unexpectedly sweet. The conch itself was chewy and fishy and sparse within the soup. I paid for orange coconut milk… :( –Avocado, beans, egg, sour cream baleada: Not worth it. One measly piece of avocado. Not bad, just meh. Something easily recreate-able, so definitely not worth $ 2.50.

Ordered Baleadas and an horchata. The horchata was just ok, but the Baleadas were awesome. They taste just as if I was in Honduras… And I go there a lot! Would definitely come back if I’m hankering for some baleadas.

They serve alcohol here which is a plus. Nothing goes better with a piece of steak and a cold beverage. Micheladas are ok nothing to rave about. Seems like they have a dance floor next door so might be a good place to come later at night and have a good time. I had the pupusas which were really good and all hand made. Overall good place but to far and not enough BANG for me to come back towards this area.
