Foxy’s Cleaners

I recently brought some beautiful clothes that were in desperate need of deep, deep cleaning. The team at Foxys took in my things, and they look like brand new! The pricing is reasonable, kind family run service and excellent cleaning. Strongly recommend.

I am very surprised to see any negative reviews on here as my experience with Foxy’s as well as Annie and Tommy has been AMAZING! I would go so far as to say that they are MIRACLE WORKERS when it comes to stain removal and two very nice people on top of that.
I moved to the Valley Glen/​Sherman Oaks area about a year ago and of course had to find a new dry cleaner. After trying a few others in the neighbourhood with mixed results, one day when I was going to Ralph’s to get groceries I spotted Foxy’s and thought why not — it’s so convenient as I never forget to pick up my dry cleaning (as I’m always at Ralph’s!) Also the parking is very easy.
In terms of the service, I have to say it is INCREDIBLE. They are always very fast and I have NEVER had an issue with their cleaning. In fact, just yesterday, I had an old Banana Republic white linen/​cotton blend vest with stains from — not kidding you — 10 years ago that they got out!!! I was going to throw it away despite it being an expensive piece that I could still wear now. Annie took a look at it, was honest and said that it would take some time due to the repeat cleaning process that was necessary, but assured me they could get it out. I was skeptical but thought, why not. Well, I was AMAZED when I saw the garment yesterday! BRAND NEW. Sparkling white. And let me tell you, it was not pretty when I gave it to them.
If you’re looking for a great neighbourhood dry cleaner, with fair prices, great service and two very kind and sweet people who always have a smile for you and really seem to love their business and enjoy their work, then Foxy’s is for you! Annie and Tommy thank you for all your hard work and for working a miracle on my vest!

Disappointed in the quality of the abaya I brought in for a simple alteration and seem line reinforcement.
I could understand if I had dropped the garment off without trying it on and agreeing to the hem length, but I made a point to do that hoping we had an understanding of what I was looking for.
In the end Foxy, or whatever the lady’s name is gave me a $ 20 discount and said she wanted to make me happy but she had a bunch of excuses as to why she really wasn’t able to do what I was looking for.
I wish she would have just been honest with her constraints when I came in the first time so I could have decided then whether or not to proceed.
Sadly, this neighborhood cleaners has lost my business for the foreseeable future.

I hate this place i am here to pick up my stuff the lady telling me to wait ok now its 5 min im waiting finally she bought my stuff and she told me that my top is not ready they need more time but when i was leaving my stuff she told me i can pick it up on wednesday they steamed my dirty top in front of me and she gave it to me i got soooo mad what the hell its dirty she didnt tell me she is gona steam my dirty top and she charged me for that Horrible place.

These guys are great and came through in a pinch. I use Foxy’s for my regular dry cleaning and have nothing but good things to say about that. Today I brought in a special last-​minute request to sew a big patch onto a sports jacket and they graciously accommodated me and turned around a fantastic sewing job in a few hours. They’re so nice and do great work, I’ll be returning to Foxy’s again for sure.

I had the same experience than some other customer. I phoned to know the price and the lady refused to give me the price. Bad attitude!

I have been attending Foxy’s Cleaners for over 10 years. Annie and Tommy are very knowledgeable in their line of work, and Tommy is truly a stain wizard. He has removed practically all of the stains that I have had over the years, applying care and attention to all of my clothing/​garments. I truly consider Foxy’s Cleaners as experts in the dry cleaning business. Annie and Tommy are very nice people, and I am able to wear my clothes for a long time. Due to the care that they provide, my clothes still look as good as new. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

Like other reviewers have mentioned the customer service at this place is appalling and rude. Basically they overcharge you for mediocre work then act like they are doing you a favor… please.
There are tons more dry cleaners in the area that do a better job and actually treat you like a customer and not a cretin.

I highly recommend Foxy’s cleaners!!! My friend spilled red wine all over my brand new designer white blazer which has ostrich feather trim around the bottom. It was only the second time wearing it. I was turned away by 2 different dry cleaners in my neighborhood both of which had glowing reviews. One of them was Steamer Cleaners on Woodman. The manager at Steamer Cleaners looked at my jacket and said straight out that there was nothing he could do and that I was «out of luck». The second cleaner I took it to said that they would try but would not be responsible for the damage that would most likely happen. So I wasn’t feeling particularly optimistic at that point and remembered seeing Foxy’s when I shopped at the Ralph’s next door. I’m so happy that I decided to walk in to Foxy’s. When I got there, Annie was standing in the front. She took one look at my jacket and said that it would be very difficult to get those stains out but she would be willing to try. Then she called Tommy over for his opinion and he said that they would be able to get the stains out but it would take about a month because the stains were so bad. I was totally fine with that and happy that they didn’t turn me away like the other cleaners did. I just picked up my jacket and they did an absolutely amazing job. It looks brand new!!! I am so impressed with their customer service, willingness to help and genuine concern for my garment. I felt they provided a great service and I would tell anyone to go there especially for difficult jobs that other cleaners tell you that they can’t help you. I will never take my clothes to anyone else. Thank you Annie and Tommy!

Lady: What kind of shirts do you have?
Me: Long sleeve collared shirts.
Lady: I need to see them in person.
Me: Why? They are long sleeve collared shirts.
Lady: Call back, I’m busy now! (hangs up)

Found this place on Unilocal and chose it because of several positive reviews and its proximity to where I live. I brought in a pair of slacks with some stains and I was unsure if they could be removed. For less than $ 1 more than the normal pressing of slacks, they did extra work to remove the stains. The stains didn’t completely come out (I didn’t think they’d come out all) but I was very happy with the results. The lady that worked there was very pleasant. I will continue to use Foxy’s as my neighborhood dry cleaner.

Just moved down the street from this place and needed a new dry cleaners. I went around 5 pm on a fri afternoon and wanted to have something spot cleaned and steamed by 5 pm the next day. I read the good reviews and figured I wouldn’t have a problem and would be greeted by a person with outstanding customer service. To my surprise the person that attended me was an older Asian lady that was very rude and had an attitude. Her sarcasm was disgusting, I mean dont get me wrong I am also sarcastic, but I also know how and when to conduct myself in a professional manner. I guess she makes enough money and doesn’t need new customers! Needless to say I won’t be going back there. If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is the most important thing to me especially when I’m paying for a service.

Annie and Tommy are both so sweet and helpful. They are such hard workers and are always willing to go above and beyond. They do such an amazing job at cleaning and tailoring our clothes. My family has been going to Foxys for almost 8 years now and we would never go anywhere else.

Annie and Tommy have a fine example of how a neighborhood business should be. The work is top quality and they are both incredibly sweet people. If you grew up in a small town, and remember what it was like to be on a first name basis with all the proprietors, you will love going to Foxy’s.

Foxy’s Cleaners is an absolutely wonderful business. The owners, Annie and Tommy, are polite, considerate, and friendly. Their work is perfect. Clothes always come out beautifully cleaned, rugs are made to look brand new, and my ten-​year-​old favorite handbag is kept alive by Foxy’s Cleaners! Annie and Tommy know my name and even recognize my voice on the phone. They are cheerful and hardworking, and they help you carry your clothes to your car. I used Foxy’s Cleaners when I lived nearly 30 miles away, and I’m happy to be living nearby once again. Thank you, Annie and Tommy, for your superb customer service!

Great place! Places are a little high but it’s worth if you have spots on the expensive item. They do excellent job on the removing all those spots. The owner is very nice and friendly.

We had several loads of laundry done here when our dryer died, and have had several different items altered. The prices are a little bit high, mainly on their alterations, but they do a fantastic job, deliver when/​as promised, and are incredibly friendly and wonderful to deal with. They actually remember me by name, and truly make me feel valued as a customer.

The owners of this place are what keeps me coming back. OF COURSE their service is EXCELLENT, but I’m always a fan of friendly, courteous and helpful businesses.
I only tried this place because it was conveniently located next to my regular market, and I’m so glad I ventured in. I initially brought in two jackets that had some pretty rough wear (stains/​markings, creases on the collar) that I thought wouldn’t really come out. They told me what they were going to try and even said that when I come in to pick up the one jacket, if the collar wasn’t pressed to my liking, she would repress it while I waited until it was right. They worked their magic on those jackets and they were returned bright and beautiful. I have been back several times and they always remember me.

Owned by the lovely couple, Annie and Tommy, they do a great job of dry cleaning and spot removing with attention to detail. They remember your name and are very patient with their [demanding] customers. They can also do alterations and they have given a second life to several of my silk blouses (after the elbows wore out!!) They’ve just expanded their hours which is a definite plus!
