REALLYTASTYBURRITO! Good service from a hot chick! Sour Cream added no charge. Chicken was shredded and plentiful. Loved it!

Great chips, great Mexican food, really nice staff. Casual, quick, and fairly priced. I always get their breakfast burritto(they let me customize it) and chicken fajitas.

The staff is sweet. I was waiting for my car to be fixed and they let me chill for a few hours. I ordered a carne asada bowl and it was really good. A huge serving, plenty for 2. They serve beer at decent prices. There is a small dining room and a small patio. I’d come again.

We made a quick stop for Tacos before picking up a friend. The joint was quick and precise. All the condiments were display for self serve. Tacos were $ 3. each for meat & cheese. My son and his friend ordered tacos and a beef burrito and the bill was over $ 20. A little over priced. The restaurant was too warm for patrons.

Manny’s is a really nice little place to come to if you just want a quick meal or even to chill in. They have a jukebox that you have to pay for but the surround sound speakers are great, nice to jam out while eating. Their food is universal as they have Mexican and American food. One can easily come here if you and your friends are torn between a burger and a taco. I really recommend the carne asada fries for $ 7 each as they give such a generous amount for the price. :~) I would very much recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick bite of food after or before an event.

I was doing some work next door at the Veterinary the other day and figured I would have a quick bite to eat at Manny’s. I had been there before under the previous owner and remembered the food was a little pricey and so so, kind of average. I ordered the Taquito plate which cost about $ 9.00. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no soap and the toilet did not even flush. When I came back the waitress/cashier had served my plate which consisted of 3 taquitos, rice and beans. I took my first bite of a taquito and yuck, horrible. I could not even tell what kind of meat was inside but it looked like it was chicken, I don’t know but I would not even feed this to an animal. The rice and beans tasted bland. Sorry to say, I can not recommend this place, stay away. Go next door to the vet and get some dog food, it tastes better and you will get more for your money!

Love the food! Hate the business hours… Should stay open later then they do! especially when located across the street from a bar! Great bean and cheese burrito.

Best Burritos ever… Carnitas is such quality, and could be eaten straight as a delicious Mexican Stew!

Good burger, bad fries(those thin crispy kind), but too expensive: $ 8.95 for burger/fry/drink combo.

They changed some menu items and the chicken recipe is now much mo betta tasty. I see some really bad reviews but I don’t get it. I sample tacos from all over LA and these and the burritos are as good as Pinches or any of the other favorites. Décor sucks but hey, I’m there for the food.

This place is gross dude. I want to come up with a witty, creative review but it was just gross. I ordered their«Famous Burrito». I had to right? Chewy, last week’s beef, but mushy everything else. Not exactly how I would describe good food. And don’t get me wrong, I LOVE good taco shops and carts. This simply wasn’t. I live right around the corner and was hoping to find a local gem. Will definitely not be back. Yuck.

I have been coming to Manny’s since 1991. Sure the name has changed, but the food and the service are excellent! It keeps getting better and better!

As a Texan transplant, I’ve had lots of really great breakfast burritos. Houston is pretty much breakfast burrito mecca and I miss that alone, sometimes. So this morning my friend suggests going to Manny’s to getting some burritos and I think, why not. I’ve been craving one for a week now and hadn’t found quite the right place to satiate the hunger. Until we get to Manny’s. The place is super cute and small, with football on the TV and people already drinking with their tacos(just after noon on Sunday) and I see my long lost love on the menu(ALLDAYEVEN) — Chorizo Breakfast Burrito– adding potatoes is optional. I was so excited to take it home and get into and boy, did it live up to my expectations. The chorizo is spicy, but just enough to give it some flavor and not burn my mouth off. The salsa is there as a veggie and not as a sauce, and the cheese and potatoes were perfectly proportioned. Not to mention, just around $ 6 for the thing, and it comes with a little bit of homemade chips. Needless to say, I’m going back to Manny’s any time I get a craving.

I consider myself a breakfast burrito connoisseur. One of the specialities at Manny’s is supposed to be their breakfast burrito. Whenever I come here I get the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. it is average or slightly above average. Not amazing, but leaves you full and satisfied. The prices are very reasonable and service is good.

I practically live on Mexican food and Manny’s delivers the goods. From the sophisticated roasted pasilla & cheese taco(inspired by La Superica’s taco rajas) to a staple like carne asada burritos, Manny’s is consistently delicious and delivers a great bang for the buck. I’d also stack their guac up against anybody’s and there’s even a chilled fruit cup for those that want to mix a little healthy eating in with their chorizo tacos(another of my faves). if you’re looking for a great meal and a couple of cold beers, you’ll be a Manny’s fan like me. And bring your pooch — there’s a sweet little patio right out front.

I wanted to like this spot. The girl who took my order was friendly. The price was good($ 6 for a big fat bacon breakfast burrito). And my food came out quickly, with a surprise helping of warm tortilla chips waiting in the bottom of my bag. But that’s where the positive attributes run out. It’s very rare that I don’t finish my food. But it happened today, and not because I was full. After so many glowing Unilocal reviews of this burrito, I was excited to give it a try. But I should have paid attention to the one single Unilocaler who gave warning. Beware she said, whipping salsa into eggs and then cooking together is not good. You end up with something that neither resembles eggs, nor salsa. That girl was soooo right. I’m not sure why people seem to love this burrito so much? Is it the size? Must be. But to me, a small burrito with the right ingredients would be 100 times preferred to a large one that contained only an egg and salsa scramble with chewy bacon in a tortilla. No potatoes, and as far as I could tell, no(or a negligible amount of) cheese. The ceviche looked good, and the taco plates sounded tasty, so I hope to be able to update my review with some highlights if I ever go back.

I went to get my car washed and decided to get breakfast at Manny’s since it was within walking distance. The service is alright. The prices are a bit overpriced for fast food/Mexican, but it did it’s job. I had the shrimp ceviche tostada which did not come with a tostada but a basket of chips. The ceviche was light yet spicy which I cannot complain. My bf shared his chorizo scramble with me which came with Spanish rice, 3 flours tortillas, and watered down refried beans. The dish was actually good. Even the watery beans seemed to work. Although I wish this place was better, it was decent for what it was. Not sure if I’ll return.

Went here and got the Carne Asada plate to go. The plate was $ 9.78. The wait was about 8 mins. A good amount of meat, rice, beans, and salad on the plate. The food was fresh but everything was a bit on the salty side… mmmmm sodium heaven. I would give this place 3.5 stars but will bring it down to 3 since Unilocal does not do haaaaalfs and this place was A-OK not Yay! I’m a fan.
