I had roast turkey with stuffing, mashed, cranberries, gravy and it was excellent. Loved it.

I give Marie Callender’s two stars for a couple of reasons. One, their all you can eat salad bar had good vegan options for me. Two, overall barely no vegan options at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a vegan. Heck, I even got au jus on the side with beef broth!

Been eating here since 2008 and love the food and service! Sheila has been taking care of us for the past year and she’s great! Food is always good and the pies are excellent!

Just an average coffee shop with GREAT pies for dessert. Menu keeps changing and in my opinion I liked the prior menus better. Miss the French onion soup.

What can one say about Marie Callendar’s? Their food is so good, it’s even good when you buy it frozen in the grocery store! Their pies are truly the best ever! I love their jambalaya as well as their cornbread! Yum! It’s buttery, moist consistency never disappoints! Their brunch is one of our family favorites. With such a wide variety of food, pies and fruit, you won’t go wrong. The price is good and the service is great. I’m a fan of callendar’s day or night. It’s especially nice for those late night pie and coffee moments.

Lots of little complaints — potatoes and bacon were cold(brunch buffet), waitress forgot to bring kids menu, water refills, coffee refills … But the corker was when the manager tried to tell us we couldn’t use our coupon for the brunch buffet. We asked her to send the manager over to read the coupon(which said absolutely nothing about brunch) on my phone, but he didn’t even have the juevos to come to our table; he just told the waitress to take the $ 10 off, but for future reference, we couldn’t use the coupon for brunch. I again told the waitress that the manager needed to read his own coupon, and with that, we left. Too bad. I actually had a really great omelette there, but I doubt that we will return.

This is our favorite go to spot. The food is great and the price is right. The service is always great! Cesar salad, corn bread and wine are my favorites. Never had a bad meal and the strip mall parking makes it convenient! A nice eclectic spot with friendly people. Convenient, comfortable and clean.

I was able to try their promo brunch buffet which includes a limited selection of their pies, salad bar and other american foods. I am a bit disappointed with their pies, I was only able to eat less than half of each of the pie that they offered. I think it includes apple, pecan, pumpkin and key lime. There steak, quesadillas, egg benedict was pretty good. Salad was pretty ok, nothing special. Verdict: Would probably not come back for a brunch buffet again but I would want to try some of the other flavored pies as this is their specialty and hope i don’t get disappointed :)

This is one of the better Marie Callender’s in the valley. The waiters are on point! They are quick with drinks and always get our orders right! The potato soup is a must try! The pot pie is a classic and I highly recommend it. Most of the pies are flippin’ delicious! Most of the time there are short lines and the customer service at this location is great! Only down side is the parking, it can be a little tight and limited.

This 2 star rating is due to my server! There are 3 tables in my section, I was the last to arrive. Now he has asked the other tables and least 4 times is there anything they need and in his other section I hear him asking them if they need anything, BUTME nothing… Did I mention he gave me my ticket before I had started to eat! Experience unforgivable, his tip NOTHING!

Seriously, what bad can I say about this classic joint?! The pot pie is the best and way better than frozen pies anyday of the week and this place has a deal where u can get soup/salad, pot pie, & a slice of any of your fav pie for under $ 20. Now that’s a steal. The place is a bit out dated but I am sure the seniors don’t mind at all & neither do I. Mind you, they have the best lemon merengue pie!

The customer service at this location is terrible. The salad bar is always lacking because the staff fails to refresh the items, not that the food they offer at the salad bar is worth eating. It tastes a lot like hospital or cafeteria food. The other items on the menu are not bad but with such poor service why bother. It’s really to bad since it’s such a convenient location.

Will never eat here again. Went in for brunch on a Sunday and we were very excited to try it. Upon walking into the dining room we witnessed an elderly man violently vomiting onto his plate and table, while the wait staff ignored him completely. Needless to say, we skipped brunch and will likely never return. Shame.

Too Expensive for little to nothing of food. Plan on paying $ 6.00 for extra shrimp. 4 of them A bowl of vegetable soup costs the same as an entire pie.

My first time there, but it won’t be my last. There service was great, a clean atmosphere and the waitress was very accommodating. The vegetable soup was so good, i also wanted another bowl. The vegetables weren’t to under or over cooked. I ordered the French Dip Deluxe. Plenty of tender delicious flavorful meat, everything else had a depth on my taste buds. It was like a party in my mouth. It came with fries, but i believed that the fries actually detracted from the experience. Savoring every bite, which one built on the other. Great little souvenirs as you’re walking out. Prices are very reasonable and I’ll definitely be back. The parking lot is small and a bit difficult to get a place. Don’t know if there’s any parking in the back. The only not as positive think i can think of.

I came to have dinner with an old buddy of mine and catch up on things. This was actually my first time dining at a Marie Callender’s, as I’ve known them for their pies, but not for their food. Well, that changed. I ordered the steak, with rice and asparagus. My order tasted well, it was a relatively light meal for the end of the day. My buddy ordered the pot pie, and they put generous portions of chicken. This is great, because some places skimp their customer of the meat. I ordered a French apple pie for dessert. The pie was pretty good, and the sugar crash hit me about the time I got home from the valley. I will be back to try out their other entrees.

This place is going downhill… fast. Called on Thursday to order 2 pies. They told me no need to order just come on it and they will have it waiting. It took us less than 1 hour to arrive there. We waiting 5 minutes to even been seen by anyone up front. When the guy finally comes up he tells me they dont have any of those pies left to just pick another. Well it doesn’t work that way. I was given instruction to pick up a specific pie for an event. Then the tell me to come in the next day at 10am. I tell him i will be at work and then he spit out this awesomeness«Well cant you just go in late?» Ok genius, let me tell my boss i will be 3 hours late because im picking up a pie because the people at Marie Callenders are incompetent. That will go over really well. After 5 minutes of this bs spewing out of his mouth my husband tells them he will be back the next day. They wanted a specific time, to the minute that he would be there. This was a whole other drama we wont go into due to me being too lazy to type. A manager comes out to help, but is more useless than the 20 year old kid with the attitude. When my husband arrived the next day to pick up the pie there was an older gentleman getting aggravated because he was wiating 10 minutes for someone to come to the register. Seems like this wasnt only a 1 off the night before. When its my husbands turn, they tell him they dont have any Pies under my name. So now im getting a call at work about a darn pie. Why is this so challenging? Finally they figure out that person wrote Morgan as «whoregan». Because thats professional. A different manager came out She said how sorry she was, blah blah. She gave us ½ off which was nice. She tried to make it right but we still wont be back there again.

This is a nice, quiet Marie Callender’s right off Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks. Mostly families dining here. The salad bar and vegetable soup is always a solid bet, and the cornbread is delicious. We have had good service here, and never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. As always, the pies are totally worth the extra calories, and probably the reason to eat here in the first place. My only wish is that they had more vegetarian options on the menu.

I wish they offered more vegetarian options. The menu is heavily devoted to our carnivore friends. The salad bar is very tired and quite frankly an embarrassment, although I do like their tomato dressing. Most of the waiter staff is fairly surly although there are a couple who are quite nice and efficient. One thing that often bothers me is that the waiters do not advise that if you order a drink the soup and salad combination is less expensive. I think I must have eaten here 20 times and was never once told about the special deal. Why have a special deal if you don’t intend to promote it with your customers? My father often gets the pot pies and really enjoys them and that is why I find myself here quite often. A couple of times a year they offer pretty good pie sales, not to be missed because their pies are really tasty.
