Sherman Oaks Club Service

I called AAA for battery service since my car wouldn’t start. They sent out SO Club Service and within 10 minutes my car was ready to go with a new battery which was FREE because it was still under warranty with AAA. Thank you Claude. Job well done!

My car just died. Called AAA and they sent Sherman Oaks Club Service. Driver, Claude, showed up very quickly. I needed a new battery. He did the work quickly and well and with good cheer – and even gave me a cold bottle of water (it was about 100 degrees today). I was completely happy with Claude and with the service. Saved my day!

AAA approved! I may have to cancel my AAA. The manager or owner, some jackass name Abraham, was the biggest a-​hole I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If I ask AAA for a tow again and this company shows up, I’m done. Scratched my car, driver was rude, owner told me he didn’t have to do jack because I had no proof. Will definitely be reporting them to BBB and AAA.

Stay far, far away.
Setup a u-​haul rental a month ago for 9AM pickup. Book movers, movers arrive time: 9:30AM. Got boxes, got everything packed, everything should be good, right? WRONG.
Get a call the day BEFORE the scheduled pickup and was told «We won’t have the truck in the morning, it’ll be ready in the after noon». «What? I have movers booked at 9:30AM!» «That’s not our problem» *click*.
Cancelled. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BOOK anything through them. I understand when you have people that extend their rental or just won’t return it in time, but you gotta offer options or some flexibility, and never say «That’s not our problem».

Had a flat tire, called tripple a and took them to get to my place very fast. David was very helpful and had a friendly service. David awesome!!!

AAA is the best! Vahe was very polite and efficient. I was having battery trouble and they came right out fixed my car and got it running in no time. I’m super stoked and I would recommend everyone to use AAA. Especially the Sherman Oaks service!

I was stuck on a Friday night at a busy intersection. The driver, Daniel, was simply awesome. He came very quickly after we found out that the problem wasn’t just gas and actually needed a tow. Last minute I found out we could drop the car off at the dealership and he took me there instead of to my houseand then brought me back to the house. friendly, professional and went way beyond normal service,

I had an excellent experience with Sherman Oaks Club Service! Carlos was amazing! He was so knowledgable and helpful with EVERYTHING! I had a few other questions that were not related to the issue he came out for, but he knew how to answer my questions or direct me in the right way! I don’t understand all of the negative reviews! My experience was amazing!

Carlos was friendly, professional and saved my day. If my car ever leaves me stranded again, he’d be the first I’d call.

I got in my car this morning to go to work. Started it, nothing. Called AAA and was told it would take about an hour. 15 minutes later… knock knock knock! Fast service! My husband wasn’t home and, unfortunately, I don’t know much about batteries, etc. Carlos was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, reassuring… I could go on. I applaud the wonderful service provided to me today. I informed my boss I maybe two hours late. I was only late 30 minutes! Thank you Carlos!

Carlos was the most gentlemanly, helpful, kind, and considerate tow truck operator I have ever encountered my entire life! Clean, efficient, well-​mannered! Delightful experience considering I needed a tow!!! :-)

Sherman Oaks Club has always given me wonderful AAA service. Yesterday was a perfect example it was around 6:45 am when I punctured my tire ughhhhhh… I called AAA and they had a wonderful young man (I think Anthony) to me in a matter of minutes unfortunately I didn’t realize I had no spare ughhhhh again. This young man called back to the garage for me and ordered a tow truck and offered to stay with me until the truck came (I was on a busy street). He was so kind. Next arrived Hrant. Hrant not only delivered my car and me to a close and trusted tire store but he stayed with me until they opened and waited as I checked in. He made sure I was all checked and that they had my specific tire. When he heard the tire store tell me it would be the end of the day before my specific tire was in he offered to drive me home. He went above and beyond. Thanks!!!

Very late, and the employees are shady. Wanted to charge me $ 100 for a jump start. Owner/​manager kept calling me «bro» to get his business. Don’t waste your time/​money on this company.

2014 Unilocal 100 CHALLENGE — ⁹⁷⁄₁₀₀
‘This place is the definition of SKETCHY!
I needed to find a U Haul place nearby to buy some packing tape. This one was the closest location to me, so I decided to give it a try. I looked at the map on their website, and was confused because although it had the same address listed as on their Unilocal page, the map on their website and the map on my phone did not match. Their website says that this U Haul is RIGHT by the intersection of Hazeltine and Magnolia… but that is FALSE! They’re actually located just past the intersection of Hazeltine and Riverside… but slightly south of that.
I got lost finding this place because of what I just explained above, and ALSO because even though I had the «right» address, my GPS took me to this Sunkist (yes, as in Sunkist the soda) corporate building that is located right next to Sherman Oaks Club Service. The reason why I could not find Sherman Oaks Club Service was because 1) it’s literally located underneath the 100 freeway, and 2) has super tall gates all around it, so I couldn’t even see it, especially while driving in the dark. I circled the Sunkist building feeling super annoyed/​stupid, and then eventually found the place right past the building, underneath the freeway.
I pulled into the place, which was already making me nervous because it’s super dark and under the freeway. This guy gave me an evil glare and I had no clue who he was, but I was praying that he wasn’t some sketchy guy that was gonna kill me. I pulled into a «spot» (the whole thing is a gravel lot so there aren’t really designated parking spots), and he leaned in and tried talking to me through my car while my windows were up… kinda stupid. I got out and told him I was here to buy packing tape, and he was just like, «Oh, we don’t have any.» I was fuming by this point because it took me forever to find this stupid place, and now they didn’t have what I needed. I asked if he could call any other nearby locations and ask if they had some so I wouldn’t have to drive to another location only to discover that they, too, do not have packing tape. He said no, but suggested going to the actual U Haul rent-​a-​center on Van Nuys and Saticoy. I was like ok… and got back out of my car and sped outta there.
Overall, I was definitely not pleased with my whole excursion and trip to this Sherman Oaks Club Service. Definitely won’t ever be back (I hope) and neither should you!

The UHaul service is wonderful & I have used it a couple times. Never used the AAA Service, but the employees of the towing part of the operation have never been polite, and most recently I saw a copy of «The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich» laying out with a AAA sticker on it. Huh?

Short and sweet:
AAA sent a driver to take my car from my house to my mechanic. I rode along. I got 15 minutes of the most hateful, xenophobic, RACIST, ignorant, pig-​stupid monologue I’ve had the misfortune to be party to. I don’t know what about me made this oxygen thief feel that he could uncork the interior Archie Bunker, but I felt personally offended for every societal group he libeled.
I immediately called AAA told them that they should not be contracting services through this company.
I generally have a lot of respect for tow truck guys. It’s a tough gig. But I have nothing but sick pity for this junior Travis Bickle.

My van was towed to AAA Sherman Oaks Club Services after my son was in an accident (the other driver was at fault.) This was on a Friday afternoon. They refused to release my van to the repair shop authorized by my insurance company stating that it was too late in the day. The man who answered was extremely rude and at first would not take my information to release the vehicle. After he did, he still refused to let my van go until Monday afternoon — stating they did not have my authorization to release the van.
The auto shop that finally got my van on the 4^th day said this place was notorious for doing this to collect storage fees.
If your vehicle is towed by this company expect to meet with rude people, poor customer service and get nothing but the run around.

I was the victim of a rear-​end auto accident in which I was injured and my car was extensively damaged. A «Triple A» tow truck came to the scene. They were from Sherman Oaks Club Service, Inc. located at 4703 Hazeltine Ave., Sherman Oaks, CA 91 423, (818) 995‑1453. The driver told me that the fire department called them to tow my car and that I was required by law to turn the car over to them. I was on the phone at the time attempting to call AAA and the driver took my AAA card and said that because I was not at fault they would be charging the other driver’s insurance company for the tow so I did not need to use up my AAA card. My card then disappeared and was never returned.
The driver then took me and my car to their storage yard and placed my car in storage. My wife picked me up from their yard and drove me to the hospital where I spent the rest of the day in the emergency room.
After being released from the hospital I telephoned my insurance company to report the accident. They told me that they needed to have their tow truck pick up my car and take it to the insurance company facility for inspection. I said that would be fine with me and gave them the address and phone number of Sherman Oaks Club Service, Inc.
A few minutes later I received a telephone call from «Abrams» who identified himself as the owner of Sherman Oaks Club Service, Inc. He was outraged that I had agreed to allow my insurance company to take the car. He said that because he, Abrams, had already determined that the car was totaled the insurance company did not need to see the car and he was not going allow the insurance company, me or anyone else access to the car under any circumstances.
I I told him I would take legal action to get my car back if necessary. He responded that six of his family members were lawyers and that they are not afraid of me. I told him that I would be filing a complaint with AAA and he said he doesn’t care and that I do not scare him. I then said that even though the doctor has ordered me to stay in bead I would accompany the insurance company tow truck tomorrow to retrieve the car and that I intend to bring the police with me. He said I can go ahead and try.
My insurance company and I are still fighting to get my car back from these people. It looks like I am going to have to either file a police report or hire a lawyer to get my car back. The matter remains unresolved.
