The food was delicious, and the owner was FANTASTIC! Played guitar and sang for our 1 year old. Such a fun spot, super glad we stumbled upon this place.

Been coming here for years!!! Love the FRESH real meat no proccessed deli meat here!!! blows all the others including «beach hut» out of the water! We need more small town homemade shops around… highly recommend the club and twice bake potatoes!!! And the owner sean is awsome!

I stopped here to get a Philly because people said they made a good one here. The guy said he couldn’t make one because he was out of onions, ok so I got the brisket sandwich. I went next door to the mini mart while I was waiting. As I returned I saw the guy shoving a piece of meat in his mouth as he was finishing my sandwich GROSS. I ate the sandwich as I was in a hurry and headed to work but the sandwich was as gross as the service. I’ll never eat there again

First time here. Pulled pork for me, chicken bbq for the lady, super taste fresh made. Bread really fresh was a monday at noon 30 swift service. Very tasty, very nice, bbq sauce perfect not hot, not too spicy not too sweet, well worth a repeat visit for here !

Would totally recommend to anyone wanting a solid sandwich. I got the chicken sandwich — and OMG great. Good size, good price. Would return for sure.

First of all this place is an atrocity. The guy handled my money and then proceeded to rub his filthy hands all over my sandwich. When I go to eating my sandwich the bread was completely soaked in an unappetizing slurry of juice to the point it was almost inedible. Please save yourself the pain of this place and just go to Sierra Smokehouse for a fantastic BBQ sandwich

I ordered the chicken club and it was awesome! I just moved to the area and have found my sandwich spot!

Was taking my kiddos to the yogurt shop next door and saw pulled pork. My favorite. Mmm. Ordered the Slaw-​py Pig & thought it was pretty good. Needed a little more BBQ sauce. Still have had much better.
I did break a cleanse I had been on for 3 weeks already for this sandwich, and was not upset that I did. So that’s saying something. Owner was very friendly. Cute little place though.

The food was alright. The cole slaw had a different twist to it as it had pineapple in it. The potatoes weren’t all that great… but the ribs were decent, not really much flavor but real tender. The owner was nice as could be, had great conversation. Not sure I’ll go back as I’ve been passing it for years and getting ready to move, but if I were to stay in the vicinity, there is a chance I would stop back in.

For me it’s about the food and service I get which is ALWAYS excellent!!! I LOVE this place. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. It is made with true passion and genuine care because this place is 100 percent DELICIOUS. There aren’t many places to choose from in the shingle springs area to begin with, so the fact that It is located there is a god send. The service is ALWAYS great, SUPER sweet, funny and just GENUINE customer service, I will recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a great quality meal. Again this is just my opinion, but hands down amazing food and service, I wish they were 24hrs haha!

This little shop has been here for a long time. The owners are super cheerful and nice. They’ve welcomed the yogurt shop next door and they’re just really happy people. Their food is good. He takes pride in his Caesar salad dressing. IMO it is a bit watery, hence the 3 stars, but I know many people who love it. A great place for lunch or dinner take out. Support a small business and give them a try! $

Although the place is sometimes on the dirtier looking side of things the sandwiches are way worth it. Probably the best pulled pork I have had. If it was cleaner I would give it 5 stars. Great food!

Poor quality food and questionable cleanliness. Poor service, unprofessional to say the least. Will not return.

Yeah… the place looks a bit like a dump. Bit so did Nick’s in Hollywood, and even the original Fatburger in L.A.
Practically zero amenities; not even a soda machine (just canned drinks). Twenty bucks for two sandwiches and two sodas, which we ate at a little table outside.
But OMG, coming here is clearly about the food. My brisket was melt in your mouth, juicy good, with sauteed onions and peppers, dripping with cheese, all on just enough bread to make it holdable. Delicious! One the best Philly style sandwiches I’ve had.
My lunch companion was pleased as well with his pulled pork.
So while my next visit will definitely be take out, I expect it will be soon as I really enjoyed my first time here.

If your looking for home style food you will not get it here. The chicken is the pre cooked frozen strips from the grocery store and isn’t fresh. I can imagine the pork isn’t cooked in house either, as the owner utilizes the microwave quite heavily.
As nice as the owner is, I watched him handle money and then make a sandwich without any gloves or hand washing in between more than once.
For what you’ll be spending you could make a better meal at home. Not impressed, and I definitely won’t be coming back here.

I tried Squeelers for the first time the other day when I forgot my lunch at work. It’s not really a «dine-​in» kind of place, although he does have a few tables. I can’t be away from work for long, so I called in my order. When he asked when I wanted it, I asked for 15 minutes, and he said ok. When I got there, he was playing his guitar and hadn’t finished my sandwich yet, but in his defense, I was a little bit early. He quickly put my lunch together and I was out the door in 5 minutes.
The sandwich was about $ 8 — I got the chicken club. The bread was fresh and perfect — not soggy and not too chewy but hearty enough to stand up to the fillings. For some reason, I expected it to be a hot sandwich and it wasn’t. It would have been really delicious hot, but even cold, it was pretty good. It was a messy eat, as the the chicken kept falling out, but he definitely didn’t skimp on the filling. Rather than a regular sandwich with layered ingredients, this was sort of more of a mix of all the fillings (more like a chicken salad kind of deal).
Overall, I’ll probably stop by on occasion. Its definitely a better option than Subway, which is right next door. It’s

Just perfect! The wife and daughter went to Subway (ha!) and I enjoyed a Squeeler. It is a simple sandwich that is delicious. It reminds me of a cheesestek but with spicy pork. Can’t wait to return.

Was surprised. I have driven by this place a million times and only stopped by today.
I will definitely be going back. The only complaint I have is it needs more bbq sauce on the sandwich.
The cole slaw is surprisingly good and I LOVE the pineapple in it.
The baked beans are pretty good. Reminds me of Bush’s baked beans.

Owner, Sean, was fantastic. My hubby and I stopped on our way to Tahoe. Sean is the only employee, hailing from Ohio. He opened this shop doing what he loves, BBQ.
We both had the chicken club although the brisket smelled awesome. The chicken cooked perfectly and was delicious. Only the homemade pesto won! Holy moly! U know when you burp and r reminded of your fabulous meal, mmmm homemade pesto! Also whomever he receives his bread from is top notch.
Anytime we r nearby, we will stop again. He is closed Sundays. Oh and Sean!!! Happy anniversary!
