People that work here are stuck up know it alls. Every one of them is a complete a****le. Over priced with limited stock. Who would want to spend their hard earned money somewhere where the employees don’t care about them. Have been here on a couple occasions and nothing changes. If you want surf gear I would go to Farias. If you want skate stuff there are plenty of online stores that would be cheaper and more helpful. These people are the worst of the shore.

My friend and I took surf lessons here while on vacation in Long Beach Island… And we had a blast!
We shopped around to some of the other surf shops that offered lessons and Wave Hog def had the best price and longest lesson times. Scheduling an appointment was super easy and the staff accommodated us with the most convenient times for our schedule.
We raged the waves with our instructor, Chris «D-​Town» Target, for about an hour and 20 mins and even stood up on a couple of them — it was a pretty big deal. He taught us the basics and helped us laugh off our (many) wipeouts.
I would definitely recommend this as a fun activity to break up lazy beach days on the shore. Cost was about $ 50pp for 75 mins of small group instruction.
