This place is such a gem! They offer organic coffees and teas with different flavors like honey, almond, lavender, etc. that can be added. They also have tasty and unique desserts and pastries each day. Fair prices and lovely staff. I wish there were more seating indoors to hang and chat with a friend, but this is an excellent place to stop in for a beverage or a treat.

Great fresh roasted and brewed coffee any way you like it. Served with a smile in a nice environment. Stay and drink it, or take it with you. A small selection of home baked goodies and other stuff. Also, they have great beans they roast on the premises, that you can buy by the pound.

First time here. I had a raspberry latte and it was delicious. A cool place to go to and hang out in.

Always nice to hang out at an independent coffee shop, even nicer when the coffee is excellent. Checked out a «birthday cake» latte… because how could I resist a drink with a name like that. Amazing. Excellent flavor without being overly syrupy or sweet. Also tried a sip of a raspberry latte — no disappointment there either! Menu has a lot of flavors, more so than other shops I’ve been in. Small selection of baked goods, caramel nut square was delicious. Not the coziest, but the coffee makes up for it. Will definitely visit again.

Great organic coffee roasted by wonderful owners, I come here 1 – 7 times a week sometimes twice in one day since they opened. The foods are fabulous, oatmeal selection is tasty, and they have a fun chocolate coffee tasting for Valentine’s Day. If it isn’t on the menu, chances are they can make it anyway. They offer a lot of seasonal flavor blends, even out of season. For work I get the«box of joe“in whatever flavor I choose(last week I did winter harvest) and it is a big hit everytime.

Love this place and that it’s organic coffee. My only issue is that the owner refuses to get organic milk. How can you care about organic coffee but not care enough about the milk you use? Antibiotic and growth hormone milk is worse than coffee being non-organic. So I don’t order lattes anymore. People WILL pay a little extra for organic milk if you offer it. Please do so and I will be a daily customer

This is such a cute addition to Shirley. Very friendly staff here, and I love the flavors of coffee that they offer. Sometimes it’s Nutella or Rainbow Cookie or Almond Joy, but whatever the flavor it is always delicious. The prices are a little high, it’s about $ 4.00 in change for a small/medium sized coffee(grande at Starbucks size). But since it’s not a chain and is a small business, I am not as angry about paying a bit more. I highly recommend coming here if you’re a coffee lover.

This is a great little coffee shop and the girl Cindy who took my order was very nice and made polite conversation. In a world of Starbucks it’s a good change of pace.

Cute coffee shop that isn’t Starbucks. That’s a win right there. Had hot chocolate which was good but the star was the spinach and feta scone. Definitely homemade with quality ingredients. Almost bought another.

Finally Shirley has an eclectic coffee place. The inside out coconut macaroon is one of the best macaroons I have ever tasted. They even roast their own coffee here! With a variety of teas and coffees everyone should be able to find something. We always stop here when in Shirley.

First time here. Very impressed with my sugar free French vanilla latte. Sometimes sugar free drinks can be a let down because of artificial flavor. Not disappointed here. Friendly service. Lots of choices. Nice to have another choice for good coffee in this area besides the usual chains.

Love this place! It’s clean, cute and the staff is always friendly. Always. The owner is also very friendly and seems to be really passionate about what she is doing. Nothing makes me happier than supporting a local business that has passion. They have organic coffee at reasonable prices. Who needs Starbucks, when you can go to Tend! So happy they are in Shirley!

This was by far one of the freshest cappuccinos I’ve ever had! Great friendly and knowledgable service. Don’t let this modest store front fool you, these roasters are the real deal!

I was looking for a coffee place that was not a chain, and I am so glad I found Tend! My first experience was delicious– an iced vanilla latte and a trail mix cookie — delicious! I will be back SOON!

Stopped here en route to the Hamptons while looking for a serviceable coffee spot that wasn’t Dunkin/Starbucks/soulless chain joint. Tend is a locally owned/operated java joint that brews a fierce americano and does their own roasting onsite. They also retail about a dozen different(pure + blended) bagged coffees for home brewing. There is limited seating in and out and easy access to Route 27. Service is quick and friendly. I’d definitely stop here again whenever I’m rolling through the area

Downright amazing for Mastic to sport a locally owned, barista-run café. Yep, baristas… in Mastic. So bad-ass they roast the coffee on site. Alright, let’s discuss specs: fantabulous hard-core coffee(grab a lb for your home brew) and soft-core derivatives. Adequate selection of handmade, locally-sourced food stuffs like fruit bars, muffins and chocolates. The taste and proportions are equally remarkable in that you won’t suffer from a sugar, carb or fat high — here’s to the future of America! Or at least Mastic
