Pelligrino Pizza

They have amazing specials everyday, whether it’s the buy one get one pasta on Tuesdays or the Family Deal. The food is so good and it’s so fairly priced compared with other pizzerias. They are also so quick, once you order the food’s up fairly quick.

Haven’t been here in years. Place has great parking. Spotless but a little noisy inside from polished wood floors. Very friendly waitress. Great beer from Germany and California served is nice cold glass steins. Complementary garlic knots truly delicious! Came for Spanish Pizza but disappointed that their home made chorizo was out of stock. Pasta and pizza ordered (2 for one special Monday) was good but not exceptional. The pasta in particular was imbalanced with inadequate quantity of the non pasta ingredients which could use more interesting flavor. Great pizza crust (the best!) and pizza cooked in special wood fired pizza oven. Good value at two for one! My wife had a $ 14 strawberry salad which she liked but would have liked more than one and perhaps a half sliced strawberries. She felt was a little pricey for what she got. The dessert gelato of Ghirardelli Chocolate and Madagascar Vanilla sweet and delicious. Would absolutely come again for the wonderful beer, but would call ahead to find out if their Spanish Pizza ingredients in stock.

Came here with my cousin, we’re working in the area & not many options. I found the small pizzeria clean. The Staff & I think the owner friendly.
Now my take on the pizza. The flavor of the items on my pizza was good but I didn’t care for the sauce. It was very sweet. I want my tomato pizza sauce to taste like tomatoes. I know some tomatoes can be sweet naturally I.e. San Marzano, but this was sugary sweet.
I got a Margherita slice & a House Special with chicken cutlets on it. I tasted the House Special first. Good seasoning on the cutlets but that Dag gone sauce was ruining the flavor profile. So I thought it was the House Special. Then I tasted the Margherita Razzle Frazzle! Same sauce for both! Not cool. For me that is. Taste is subjective to personal preference.
Would I go back if I was in the area? Yes. Would I seek it out? Nah, not likely.

This is my favorite local pizza shop. They are very friendly and the pizza always taste great, and they also have the best prices. I usually get one of their family specials.

As a Virginia resident and visitor to New York, the infamous pizza is a must! This location is very close to where I stay and always has delicious, 5 star New York pizza that I crave every other day of the year. I’ve always carried out or delivered so I can’t say much as to the service, but the delivery is always quick and hot! The other day we ordered a large penne in vodka sauce that was absolutely to die for! If you’re looking to serve a large amount of people or cater an event, I highly recommend this incredible dish! Everyone was going back for seconds and heating up left overs!

InYou get what you pay for. Cheap prices = cheap bland ingredients. My biggest gripe is one of the «pizza chefs» or whatever you would call the guy who makes the pizza (the Spanish one, NOT the owner) was extremely rude when I told him to cook my raw pizza more. The shredded mozzarella still had the shredded visuals to it. So he put it back in the oven for like two minutes. I asked for my money back and he tried intimidating me. As of it was my fault! Will never return to that pizzeria ever again.

Love there pizza, my favorites are reg, grandma, eggplant, and there is a chicken bacon one that’s good too!

I personally love Pelligrino’s pizza. They have a sweeter sauce then most pizza places. I only gave than a four because at times the pizza can be burnt, but most of the type it is excellent. Also, all the employees are very nice. The prices are decent, but with the coupons they are excellent.

I like to call pelligrinos the pizza factory, because their pizza is bland and unappealing. Wouldnt go there, unless you like bad pizza.

Use to be great many years ago, now is pricey for sub par pizza.
