I used to love this place, their pizza was delicious and it became a weekly meal for myself and my family, but not any longer. For the second time in two weeks I have been severely disappointed in the quality of their pizza. The pies I recieved after placing an order for delivery was poorly made and burnt, the toppings were very sparse, and for what they charge for them I expect to see some on every slice at least. The pies were delivered half an hour late and when I called to complain, after receiving my second bad pie, I was given attitude for voicing my disatisfaction. The manager said he would refund my money but never did. I don’t know what has happend to cause such a sharp decline in their pizza but my family and I will no longer be getting ours from here.

Above average pizza. Food is generally good, the problem is the staff. Have had a few rude and unconscientious people wait on me. Other than that, no complaints.

The quality in the pizza has deteriorated in the last two years. Beware ordering pizza pie for pickup because on several occasions they have sold stale pizza that you know has been sitting for hours and they reheat it and send it off to their takeout customers… this of course is not a best practice.

We love eating at this place even though its a 25 min ride east of our home. Don’t let the pizzeria look fool you there are quality meals here just as if you were in a pure Italian restaurant with white table cloths. Of course the pizza, garlic knots and all that good stuff is great we really enjoy the meals. I always order the veal parm. its a good size portion just the right amount of breading and the sauce is fantastic. My wife orders the calamari both fried and sautéed with marinara and again great tasting and a decent portion.

Between this location and the Rocky Point location, I am going to gain a million pounds this winter. Buffalo chicken is awesome; it’s packed with chicken and the sauce and bluecheese are falling off the pizza. My new craving from this place is the mac and cheese slice because it is creamy and not dried out like most places. Prices are cheap and the food is excellent. The service is always good. You are missing out if you don’t stop in.

Best pizza around. Always great food, but at times the service can be lacking. Many times we arrive to pick-up and the order is incorrect or something is missing. Luckily the great taste of the pizza makes up for the service problems.

Delicious quality pizza, great selection, good service. I live in NYC and can say this place offers a top level pizza slice.

Absolutely amazing pizza quite possibly the best place to get a grandma slice on the whole island.

Unfriendly, incompetent people and good pizza. This place would get 4 stars if I haven’t had more than five negative interactions with staff(i.e. general unfriendliness or screwing up our orders constantly). If you want good pizza but don’t mind being treated like crap, by all means.

Overall delicious food. They give you a large slice of pizza, so that makes up for the slightly higher price. Great specialty slices too!

Good pizza, but nothing to write home about. They use a lot of unnecessary flour, in my opinion. Having worked in a pizza place for four years, I am picky! Their house salad is not great and their dressing needs some serious revision — yucky. The garlic knots are not good at all. I think their entrees are the shining star in this place, and I love their rosemary chicken. All of their chicken dishes are great, actually! Go here for sure!

Good pizza, good meals such as heroes and dishes, very clean and friendly people. Only complaint is that it could be really hard to find a parking spot at times, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. I’d recommend this pizzeria to all pizza lovers. (PS: Get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza slice: P)

Best pizza in the area. The staff is really friendly and they’re always quick to throw in extra garlic knots for free, which are amazing.

Clean, professional and great NY pizza. Salad slice is top notch, get it with balsamic dressing. What more do you want?

The char on my plate was particularly confounding since the rest of the slice was just on the safe side of cooked. Shelled out $ 4.60 for a couple slices: a regular and a Sicilian. The former was substantial with a blackened underbelly and a pancake-tasting crust. The latter was forgettable, especially since all I heard while eating was ‘meatball slider and chicken parm slider’ since that’s all the folks who entered after me seemed to be interested in. WRP has branded delivery t-shirts and was decked out with V-day décor when I visited — trying to diversify and stay modern/trendy is wise but felt forced. Do concur with the clean location, wide selection, and quick service(of the typical brusque and efficient variety embodied by most pizzerias).

Famished after the surprisingly intense workout that is strawberry picking at nearby Lewin Farms, we were craving food, any food, to rejuvenate and revive. How about pizza? Located in a small shopping area on Rt 25A, Wading River Pizzeria is one of those establishments that confuses this city slicker: it’s clean, well run, sports a spacious bathroom, is spacious in general, all hallmarks of suburbia yet sometimes rare to find in the concrete jungles of NYC. A friendly staff? Of course. So friendly that she let us order the $ 20 takeout special and dine in. Two liter bottle of soda, buffalo wings and one large pie. And the pizza was downright good, so good that we have slices that traveled about 90 miles back home, ready to reheat and eat. The crust was golden brown, not burnt. The test of folding a slice and waiting for a wading river of oil to drip? Passed. No insane globbage of cheese. Tasteful and just the right amount. Pasta specials for lunch that are under 6? You know it. So when I want to engage in migrant worker roleplay and pick crops again, this would definitely be a post picking stop.
