Pantorium Cleaners

This cleaner has issues with cleaning the items you bring in to have cleaned. I took in a blazer that had a small stain on the sleeve. When I went to pick it up the blazer was given to me with one area cleaned, and another area where the stain was untouched. The front desk person admitted that where they send things off to be cleaned have been having issues lately. She sent it off to be cleaned again, only to get it back with the blazer being the same. And the capper of it all is that Pantorium still charged me full price for a poor job. All she could say was that she was sorry. They use to do good work, but lately the cleaning on items is horrible. I’ll find someplace else to take my clothes. Be warned, be cautious, steer clear of Pantorium.

My girlfriend took a dress in to have it altered a bit because the length was a bit long. When I got home she told me the price was $ 100. This is a $ 100 dollar dress! All they had to do was take a little bit off the bottom and make it look nice. When she called them to tell them not to do it they had already started and said if you pick it up now, unfinished, it will be $ 50. I had them finish it. How do you justify charging $ 100 to alter a $ 100 dress? Shop around people, some will rip you off. I will not be taking anything else there, ever.

There is something very nice about walking into a business like this and having the owner know you by name and have your ticket ready before you even say a thing. That is the charm of a small town.
This cleaners is good even though the prices are not discounted. And the service takes a few days. But it is well worth it for those who live in Sierra Madre or pass through here a lot.
And after you drop off your clothes you can stop next door for a fresh pastry.

Recently, I took my very nice red duvet cover to Pantorium Cleaners, which I have done in the past with no problem. I pointed out some dirt on a portion of the cover. It was not a stain, but dirt from summer bare feet resting on the cover. When I got the duvet cover home from Pantorium I noticed that the area that had the dirt was now stained with whatever chemical they used on it. The red color was now blotchy and faded. I brought my duvet cover back in and the woman at the front said she would need to call the owner about it. A couple of hours later I was informed by the woman that the owner would not do anything to reimburse me because household goods are cleaned at the customer’s own risk. AND I still had to pay for the cleaning bill for this botched job. When I stated that I have cleaned this duvet cover before with no issues and have never been asked to sign a waiver, the owner wanted it conveyed to me that I SHOULD have been asked to sign a waiver. The owner never bothered to speak to me himself which I take to be very bad customer service, especially since I had been a client there for many years. Potential customers please know that Pantorium no longer has an in-​house facility for cleaning. Starting about two years ago, all items are shipped to another cleaners in Pasadena. This is about the time I started noticing a decline in quality at Pantorium.

This is the only place I’ll take my work clothes and evening wear. They do a great job. It is expensive, but I think the results are worth the price.

We have taken our clothes here for years. Very convinient location. Their prices are a bit high, but I think it’s worth it. They are very interested in customer satisfaction. I had some alterations done there, and they didn’t believe that they were done the best they could have been, so they didn’t charge me. I didn’t have a problem with the alterations at all. They get clothes done in a timely manner.

My items looked beautiful, but you pay through the nose for the service (just under $ 30 for my items, and that was with a first-​time customer discount of 25%). Despite the convenient location, I’m probably not going to be a repeat.

i love this place. The customer service is great and my clothes is always perfect! The owner goes out of his way to accommodate special requests, and knows his stuff about stain removal. I highly recommend the Pantorium to anyone in need of a good dry cleaner.

I took in a pair of pants to be shortened. The girl at the counter told me it would be $ 15. I said ok, can you do it today and she said yes, but it would be $ 18.75. I said fine and she wrote up the ticket. When I came back to pick up the pants the owner was insanely rude to me. He then told be it would be $ 23.75! I told him that the ticket said $ 18.75 and he said that no, it was $ 23.75. I had to give him the money or he wouldn’t give me the pants! The receipt he gave me was for $ 18.75! NEVER AGAIN! This man is known for being rude, but ripping me off! WHY? There is just no excuse for the way I was treated. I also reported them to the BBB.

Just dropped off 3 shirts for stain removal. Owner was rude and impatient with my questions. On the pricy side as well; I think they do good work but I won’t be giving them more business after this order.

This place is awesome! After a not so good experience at another place, I decided to try Pantorium and have been loyal ever since! The customer service is excellent and their prices are reasonable. Also they usually give you 4 day window but if you need it sooner (like in 2 – 3 days) they accommodate your request.
