Pretty damn good. We got here early on a Saturday in Feb. and didn’t have a problem getting a table immediately, though seating is definitely limited. Service isn’t «typical»… Someone from behind the bar will come out and take your order and get you a fancy beer very quickly. Fancy beer selection is decent, above average for the area. Pizza was fantastic, no other way to put it. If you’re a fan of good pizza you won’t be disappointed.

Love this place. Always has new beers to try and the pizza is incredible. I love how there are different sizes and lots of options to choose from. Your bartenders and kitchen staff are also very attentive and kind.

Pretty good pizza. Nice cozy bar with good craft beer selection. Customer service is always nice. Been here many times but have to say last time was not the best experience. Messed up on the pizza order and calamari was extremely tough. Sent back and much better second time. I feel the pizza dough or ingredients have a lot of salt but the pizza is tasty overall.

We visited Siesta Key the first week of December and were in the mood for pizza. We chose Pi based on the good reviews and we were not disappointed! We ate in, but a heads up that the restaurant is SMALL! Only three tables inside aside from the bar. There is a very casual surf vibe, several TV’s showing sporting events, and the bar was filled with locals. There was limited bar style seating outside as well. Parking is also extremely limited as the lot is small and shared with a couple other popular restaurants. During high season when Siesta Key is busy, I would highly recommend carry-​out!
My husband ordered the garlic parm wings and was impressed with how many there were and how meaty each wing was. The flavor was good and they were a great value for wings, which can tend to be expensive and not substantial at restaurants. We ordered the thick crust Sicilian style pizza with fresh tomato and basil. It was hot, flavorful and delicious! The crust was fluffy but with a good crisp base, just how I like Sicilian style thick crust. We were too full for dessert, but in the future, we have our eye on the Nutella dough dessert. If we find ourselves back in Siesta Key (which I hope we do), we will happily visit Pi again!

Great place in Siesta Key, with some awesome craft beer. We woke up around noon and headed here before the beach. I got a beer on tap that tasted like straight up coffee, it was awesome. And then we ordered more beer. Bartender was very friendly, gave me samples of different beers so I could choose one.
Plus, what’s better than beer and PIZZA. We got half pesto and seafood with half BBQ chicken. Definitely coming back here when I’m in Siesta Key again!

Easily the best NY style pizza around. Reminds me of homemade stuff I used to get up north when I was a kid. Unique craft beers are a plus, too. Only downside is there is always a wait for your food.

Had an early dinner here. The dining room is 3 tables and a bar. There is some outdoor seating, but since it was early we had no problem getting a table. Waitress was attentive and nice, ordered their version of a Margherita pizza which was delicious and Stromboli. Their sauce was really fresh and flavorful. Great beer selection and full bar. Everyone left happy!

Best pizza I have ever had! The Beach Bum with tomato & basil, and the service is ridiculously good! The owner helped us decide what beverage we’d like, including letting us taste a new whiskey we’d never tried (and both ended up drinking the rest of the night — Slow & Low, it’s great). Live music with hits including The Saga Begins and To Be Young! Anyone who comes to this area of Florida and doesn’t visit is doing themselves a serious disservice. *Mic Drop*

I would like to rate this establishment much higher than 1 star, but they continue to disappoint me. I have visited Pie several times over the past couple months, and 4 of the 6 times they have either screwed up my order, forgot my order, been out of the food I ordered, or delivered my food (french fries) cold. Carry out is no better… you will call in an order to go, show up and they will casually tell you they are out of the item you ordered. Or, you can order in the establishment, wait 30 minutes for your pizza only to learn they forgot to make it. When they do finally decide to make it, you can rest assured it will have the wrong toppings –their fix, to add the toppings, re-​bake it and bring it out freshly burnt. Perhaps if they would start offering me a free drink for my troubles I would give them another star.

Food was amazing, service was horribly slow and we were only 1 of 2 parties in the restaurant. We had to wait a while for drinks and our order to be taken plus we needed to specifically ask for utensils after getting our salads. Luckily we weren’t too hungry where it created an issue, just made for a longer dining experience.
Pizza was amazing. Salads were fresh and wonderful. Breadsticks were our favorite! :)

Great little dive bar. Fraser was an awesome bartender. My husband and I had a great time relaxing and having some drinks. The beer selection is outstanding and the pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had in Florida! Beach bum pizza rocks!

If you’re in Siesta Key, check this place out. Great pizzas & good bartenders. It’s very small, so we sat at the bar. We had the buffalo chicken pizza, which was amazing and the White Sands, which was pretty good.

Nous avons commandé une pizza de taille 16′ (soit 8 grosses parts, pour 5 personnes c’est largemment suffisant) à la sauce tomate, basilic et jambon.
Nous avons patienté 20 minutes sur la terrasse à l’exterieur en attendant notre repas qui s’est avéré délicieux.
Au final, nous nous sommes régalés pour seulement 15,75 $ !

Absolutely delicious pizza and wings! 15 or so brews on tap and full bar. Friendly and fast service. I highly recommend the siesta pizza and wings as they were outstanding! Service is outstanding. Sit at the bar for great service!

Nothing like some good craft beer and pizza for a relaxing vacation! Unfortunately, we found this place the last night we were there. Only thing that would make Pi Craft Beer & Spirt ideal is if it was ocean side with a patio, but then it may become a tourist trap like some of the other bars on Siesta Key.
Although other reviews make it seem like this gem is extremely small, it has what some would consider 2 sides… one side is a bar with probably 20 – 25 seats (at the bar) and the other side is tables, which includes 3 tables that seat about 4 – 6 each. The tables are in the shape of surf boards, which adds character, and they fill up very quickly. There is also some stools outside, but I’m not sure if they’re part of this restaurant or if they’re for the overflow from the bar next door. When we arrived on a Friday night about 6ish, we were able to snag 2 tables for 7 people, but patrons kept coming in and waiting outside for a table. By 7 p.m., there were at least 3 – 4 larger families waiting for tables.
The pizza was the best on Siesta Key! We all agreed on this. In addition, the breadsticks were some of the best we’ve had. An order of breadsticks included about 7 – 8 breadsticks and were enough of an appetizer for our family. We also ordered a basket of their fresh cut fries, which were also very good. The pizza pies are pretty large… we got a medium for 3 people and a large for 4 people and both were quite big. We ended up having a decent amount left over.
The service was impeccable and it might be due to their need to turn over the tables quickly. We didn’t feel rushed, but it was clear families were waiting and we shouldn’t hold them up any longer.
We visit Siesta Key each year for vacation and we will definitely be stopping here again. It was hands-​down one of my favorite places!

We had breadsticks and the marinara was perfect! With parm and fresh garlic on top.
Then we had three pizzas, the all in (was awesome! So many toppings :), one with green peppers, pepperoni and bacon and it was delicious!
And the last one was pepperoni and jalapeños, so amazing! We would definitely make the trip back out just for the pizza!

Its literally a little hole in the wall beach restaurant. But the food is AMAZING.
Service was impeccable.
Even the fellow patrons were friendly.

Amazing pi! I had a custom build gluten free pizza which was delicious. Very solid pepperoni, a sweet sauce. My husband had a custom build normal crust, which was equally solid. We’ll be back for sure. And they had craft beer, which was a big win for my husband as well.

I love this place for two reasons: the pizza is fantastic and the guy who owns it is a superstar.
I was visiting Sarasota and we went to Pi based on the reviews here on Unilocal.I’m a high maintenance eater — I never order straight off the menu — and I was with my chatty Mom, who always has a million questions. The owner took much more time than he needed to with us, and he never seemed impatient, which is a huge accomplishment, given that it was dinnertime and the joint was crowded. HUGE fan.
My Mom and her boyfriend loved the pizza they had, and I’m back in LA dreaming of the pepper-​and-​onion light on the cheese dinner I had at Pi. It’s not easy to make great pizza without a lot of cheese, but they can do it at Pi. Great, great, great.
