Found this place on Unilocal when I was in Sarasota and decided to check it out for brunch. 11:30 on Saturday, no wait for outside table. My boyfriend had an omelette with house made chorizo, bacon and cream cheese — he was impressed with the quality of the chorizo which was offset nicely by the rich cream cheese. I had the Creole Benedict with Crawfish Sauce. Yum! Definitely recommend this place for brunch!

Ok, we have visited this Broken Egg location many times over the years, but this is our first time back in several. Overall, we were a little disappointed — probably due to the expectations set by our past visits. This time around we started with a Cinnamon Roll, which was average at best. We then split the Bananas Foster French Toast. This was reasonably tasty, but could have used a little more foster sauce. We also had sides of bacon and turkey links. The bacon was a bit too crisp, but the turkey links were quite good. With so many other breakfast options in the area, this will probably be our last visit to the Broken Egg for a few more years.

Another Broken Egg Café at Siesta Key offered one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. This was our first time in Siesta Key, so I Unilocaled a few restaurants. Based on reviews, it sounded like the place to be. We arrived a little before 10a. This place was already packed. The wait time ended up being about 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly. Our server was Louie and he was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly. Our food came out hot and fast. The Belgian waffle was cooked perfectly, the French Toast was everything described in the menu and the flavors of all of the food ordered was delicious. The Chef/Owner came to the table and introduced himself. He also asked how everything was. This sealed the deal for us. The atmosphere and staff were so inviting. He also explained that there was a location in Atlanta(where we traveled from). With all of this being said, I would definitely recommend Another Broken Egg !

If you love eggs Benedict, you must try this place! Loved it so much we went back the next day. The Eggs Blackstone were heavenly. The Cavallo were equally as good. The coffee was excellent, hard to find a decaf that is worth drinking, but somehow their’s was almost as good S the real thing. Service was excellent. Well worth the wait, can’t wait to go back again!

Good breakfast but always very crowded. Expect to wait. Good gluten free options including pancakes. Plenty of vegetarian options too. Attentive service. Probably would go back, if the wait wasn’t too long.

This breakfast establishment has underwhelmed the past two times I’ve visited. The location and ambiance are generally pleasant, and the service is good. The quality of food, however, was lacking. I ordered Eggs Benedict and found the ham to be rubbery and the eggs to be lukewarm at best. My party ordered the biscuit beignets and they too, were fair. The flavor was fine, but they were dry. You could do far worse for breakfast spots, but with so many options in the area, it’s hard envisioning myself wondering over to ABEC for a third time.

A great visit I stopped in about 8am on this Sunday for breakfast, the outside seating already beginning to fill up. I still found a good spot and settled in. My server appeared with a friendly greeting and I soon had coffee. I asked for recommendations and while I believe they were genuine, they were also the higher priced items, so instead I checked out the menu and came up with an omelette called Bacquezo. In well under 10 minutes my Bacquezo arrived, accompanied by cubed potatoes. The omelette had ground Chorizo and cream cheese, with melted Monterey Jack cheese on top. This variation of an omelette was great, I enjoyed every bite. The potatoes were done well too. The food was great, as was the service, as was the location, sitting outside enjoying the start of the morning.

We had a delicious breakfast this morning. Diana was our waitress and she was very attentive and lots of fun. Great atmosphere and adorable coffee mugs. We are going back home to Indiana with 2 of them to remind us of our time on Siesta Key.

So I came here for breakfast and it was amazing. I had the Hawaiian French toast with eggs and turkey links. My honey had blue berry pancakes with lemon whip cream. I was able to try the mimosa which was pretty good not the best but I still enjoyed it. The service was great and it was perfect weather.

Had a really great morning coming in with the family and eating breakfast. My sister and I split the cinnamon French toast and it was DELICIOUS my dad got the Floridian which was by far the best omelet I’ve ever had in my life. The patio was very nice and clean. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and they turn tables over fast so don’t be scared by a 15 minute wait usually you get in in about ten.

Great brunch spot. I ordered the Veggie Burger and it was one of the best veggie burgers I’ve had. They have a home made patty and it wasn’t bland or dry(like you sometimes get with veggie burgers). They top it off with roasted garlic and caramelized onions which was amazing. Their Veggie Burger here is definitely worth a try!

Great breakfast and great drinks. Had the eggs Benedict with bacon and fried tomato, so good. My boyfriend had the veggie burger which was amazing!!! Bloody Mary was less salty than I’d like, but the infused vodka was a really good addition. Bellini was good too. I also ordered birthday beignets for the BF, they were really good too, and a fun way to celebrate a birthday for breakfast.

This is one of my go to breakfast spots in The Village. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I have ordered– from the Granola, Fruit & Quinoa bowl(my fav!), to a current special, the Cajun Potato Sensation. Great place to grab a bite & soak in the Florida weather in the outdoor covered patio. Arrive by 8 am or be prepared to wait for a table during season.

One of our favorite breakfast spots in Siesta Key! I had Chez B’s Omelette and it was delicious. My husband had bananas foster Belgian waffle which he thought was great too. Service is always great! Only tip would be to get there early especially on Saturdays as it gets crowded quickly.

Just ok. The Tabasco didn’t have a stopper to it and poured out all over my eggs. They did offer to replace my eggs. Overall, nothing to write home about.

I had the Hey Lucy omelette and it was in fact tasty. The outdoor seating was enjoyable. I also liked their cute personalized coffee mugs with the restaurants name and the fact that we could buy them as souvenirs. I probably would’ve purchased one of it wasn’t for how upsetting the slow service was. Although we were sat right away, it took wayyyy too long for our waitress to come to us to take our drink orders and then for us to even get them. It was a busy morning and we were on vacation so we tried to overlook the slow service but it created a bad last breakfast experience in the Sarasota area.

Delicious!!! It’s my first time here in Sarasota so I was hoping for a good breakfast place and this place came up. It was conveniently 0.2 miles away! Anyway, it’s located right next to the beach and the place is super cute and clean. Our service was quick and efficient. I love when waiters know a lot about the menu and recommend dishes. I ate their cinnamon roll French toast– more than satisfied, I could re-eat it. My boyfriend ate the oscars egg Benedict which was also amazing. So overall, if I revisit siesta key I will definitely come back.

Found this amazing establishment on vacation and went back 3 times while in town! Food– AMAZING. Every meal was seriously awesome. Impressive and unique menu. My personal favorite was the waffles, and the Cheesy grits were to die for. Gouda, bacon, tomatoes and chives… so so so good!!! Service– Incredibly inviting, friendly, attentive and down to earth. Way to go guys! Made a wonderful experience even better. This is how a good business should be run. Atmosphere– Adorable. Loved! Relaxed and comfortable. Great interior and great tables outdoors as well. I will miss this place! I am still dreaming about the delicious grits… until we return!
