Stay away from D3 Cadillac! My experience with D3 Cadillac turned out to be dreadful. In the end I was provided nothing. What I did get was the run-around about their performance dyno tuning and what they could offer me. The way they handled the problems that arose with the work they performed and their attitude toward a customer was appalling! Their work is under par and was capped off by delays and fabrications to put me off as long as they could. My encounters with the entire one-on-one poor customer service from the staff at D3 is a highly suspicious business practice and lack of integrity or ability to actually offer performance-oriented modifications they promise. My recommendation is to steer clear of D3 for any modifications you would like to consider for any Cadillac. READONFORDETAILS Found them while searching online for performance options for my 2014 Cadillac V-Sport. I spoke with Tim Pak who said I could expect a significant amount of increase in horsepower(approx. 50HP) and a much smoother gear shifting from the 8 speed auto transmission. He said he has previous experience tuning V-Sport models like mine. I was assured there was no problem having dealer warranty items worked on as a result of their performance tuning. The cost, I was told, would be $ 800.00, but actually turned out to be $ 895.00. The result after service was only a 25 – 28HP increase to the rear wheels and not the 50HP increase they originally told me I could expect, claiming each car tunes differently and mine was the exception. Days later I discovered my cruise control no longer worked. I took my car to my nearby Cadillac dealer to have them fix this issue. They discovered they were locked out of the ECM computer system and could not perform the repair. They told me I should go back to D3 to ask why my cruise control no longer worked and why they were locked out of the ECM. I called D3 and spoke with Tim explaining my experience at my dealer and brought my car back to them. He stated he wanted to load my original OEM tune to check if the cruise control worked to determine if it was their performance tune that was the cause. He also stated D3 locks the ECM when they implement their performance tuning. This is totally contrary to what I was first told. Tim informed me «sure enough» as soon as they loaded the OEM tune the cruise control worked again. He said they would need to have their software program rewritten to resolve the malfunction of the cruise control and it would take about two days to reprogram the software. He asked me if I would like them to reload their performance settings until they could fix their software and I elected to leave the OEM settings. I waited over a week and never heard from Tim after leaving him numerous messages. The next Monday, I drove to D3 Cadillac to find out why I was never contacted and to complain. I spoke with James Gill and asked him what they were going to do to resolve my problem. His excuse was that sometimes it takes longer than they expect for their engineers to rewrite software with no mention of why I was not kept informed. At this point I requested they return my $ 895.00. James reluctantly agreed to repay the $ 895.00 stating it would take 4 – 7 business days send a refund check to my home. I had him write this information on the credit memo he gave me and sign it. Weeks later I still had not received a check. After numerous calls, I was told Monique Gill, their bookkeeper, would be asked to issue the check on June 1 would contact me to confirm. I never heard from Monique. I called Tuesday, June 2. James told me he spoke with Monique on Monday, asked her to process my check, and promised me I would have it in 2 – 3 days. As of Friday, June 12, no check had arrived. By this time, I had been waiting for almost a month and still no check. I called Tuesday, June 16, and finally got to speak with Monique, personally. She said she knew nothing about the credit memo. Really! I finally got the email with her confirmation that the check would be mailed the following day. When I deposited the check I was told there were insufficient funds; however, it did FINALLY clear.
