I grew up here … Watched the shopping center grow, the turn over of stores. There use to be a theater here. Can you imagine the parking! The only stores that have remained are Giant, CVS and Chinese Restaurant. CVS is a mess when you need meds. Their pharmacy needs a complete over haul …, right down to the employees. Giant’s manager and his assistant are very rude. I’ve stopped in there twice within the past month and ALL the shopping carts are in the parking lot … Every time! The parking lot is a mess to say the least. Car’s won’t stop for pedestrian’s, people walking where ever, not in cross walks, parents walking with young children and not watching them, as they walk through the parking lot. And the cop… Yes the cop that just sits in his car. What’s he doing? I haven’t figured it out yet. What the hell is he doing? Cause he sits as car’s won’t stop for people trying to cross in a cross walk. Thought that was a law!

Lmao, the people talking about parking here is dangerous tend to be the drivers who ARE the ones that don’t know how to drive. It’s an amazing center with a large selection of stores and restaurants. It’s always clean and never any issue in finding a parking spot since it has a massive parking lot. During the weekends it does get busy(much shock, such wow) but if you don’t mind walking a few more steps you’ll be fine… If you’re not lazy and take your time you can leave from any of the 3+ exits in the parking lot. If you wanna be that a** that decides to cross 4 lanes to get on the other side then yes, you’ll have a hard time.

I’ve been around the Aspen Hill area for quite sometime now and I’ve watched it grow. There’s a large variety of stores but nothing major. Parking is a pain, not much to say since there’s not much to Aspen hill.

The parking lot is very dangerous especially in front of the GIANT. Sometimes GIANT permits tractor trailer drivers to off-load through the front door exacerbating the problem. I spoke with the manager about this and they acted as if it wasn’t their problem. If you have children make sure they stay with you and don’t stray. This area is a tragedy waiting to happen.

This place could be a hot mess sometimes in terms of parking and navigating through the parking lots, particularly on the weekends and right after work. This shopping center has almost forty stores. Ones I like to frequent are: Food/Drinks– Giant Food; Aspen Hill Beer, Wine, and Lottery Restaurants-Panera Bread; Five Guys; Chipotle; Silver Fountain Restaurant Pet supplies-Unleashed by Petco; Shopping: Game Stop; Five Below Other– BofA; USPS

Aspen Hill Shopping Center has a variety of banks, shops, and restaurants: Giant, CVS, Chipotle, Panera, Chevy Chase, Dress Barn, Hallmark, Five and below, Silver Fountain(Chinese Dim Sum) and Vietnamese Phở options. Plethora of parking spaces available but just be careful because the entrances and exits to the parking lot is a little confusing.

Nice contemporary shopping center with tons of variety in the stores there. The grounds were very clean and well kept & there was ample parking!
