Wingstop

The food is fine, but literally this is the SLOWEST «fastfood» restaurant I’ve experienced. every time I’ve come here, whether calling in orders, doing it on the app, or doing it in person at this store, it’s beyond the limits of extra time. it shouldn’t take more than 30min an order. Even with a wider berth, every time… STILL not ready. Today’s time, 45min.

I really like Wing Stop wings but customer service at this location is so terrible that I am now looking for a new stop for wings. I’ve been here a handful of times and service is always very slow and my order has been wrong more than once. Tonight I had a hankering for wings so I tried to order online to avoid a long wait but the online ordering was not working. So then I called to place my order and was promptly put on hold for over 5 minutes before I gave up and decided to look elsewhere for dinner. Unless you’ve got a lot of time and patience, and aren’t that hungry, I’d recommend going elsewhere for wings.

The previous manager, Thomas, worked very hard to keep a positive work environment and to make sure your order was exactly how you wanted it to be, and if a mistake was made (because we’re all human), he would take care of you and get it right. The new manager does not understand anything when he takes your order. After saying what you want, he’ll confirm something completely different e.g. «I’d like garlic parm» with the response being «Ok you want Honey BBQ». The vibe of the kitchen has gone in a state of disarray and I can count on my left hand the remaining number of GOOD employees that will make the wings, fries, and buns exactly as they should be (Joshua being another great employee). Bring Thomas back or you’re going to lose all your faithful customers. For anyone that has had a bad experience in the past month or so, it’s because of the new manager who does not understand the employees and the customers. My past few visits where the good employees are not there, I have received bland and cold wings, french fries that are not what they used to be, and a roll that looked like someone sat on it.
edit: Just learned Joshua is no longer at this location too. All the good employees are leaving. I will no longer go to this one.

I love Wingstop, but the service I received at this location last night was horrible. I tried calling in my order before I got there so it would be ready by the time I got there and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I attempted to call back and the line was busy. Once I got there I told the gentleman at the counter my order, and he read it back to me exactly as I said it. I even double checked the screen to make sure the order was correct. He told me it would take 15 – 20 minutes which is about the normal wait time for a wingstop order.
My order did not come out for 45 minutes and when it did it was completely wrong. I asked for all flats and was given all drumsticks. The same problem happened with my friend who ordered less than ten minutes after me. In total it took over an HOUR for all of us to get our food and leave the premises. We didn’t even have time to sit down and eat because it took so long.
I’ve been to this location before and never had any problems however what I experienced last night was so terrible that I had to say something. And it was not just me and my friends who waited forever for our food. Everyone in that establishment yesterday was complaining about how long the service was taking. And then to get the completely wrong order once the food was ready was even more disappointing. I hope this location can get things together for the sake of its other customers, because I will not be going back there.

I went here for wings a couple of times. They always try to charge you for little extra things to get the check higher. They push you to get extra sauces and don’t tell you it’s for a higher price. I can get the same exact wings at their falls grove location and the price will be $ 10 LESS per order. The customer service is always bad and ripping people off is always bad.

I chose to go to another restaurant for lunch, while the rest of the family picked the wings. It took me about 10 mins to walk down to my lunch spot, grab it, and return. I walked into the place and the décor has a casual sporty type feel; with the dark wooden table and chair sets. I didn’t see the entire rear area, but I «ass“ume it’s as nice as the face. The spot is clean, the staff is courteous and neat, but above all;

They were cooked perfectly with a nice flavorful juicy bite. We purchased the plain, Cajun, and original hot wings. Hot is that without numbing your taste buds. Cajun is spicefully warm and tasty, and the original brings the classic hot wing mmmh!
This will become a regular for my family. Hopefully everyone that tries this place has the same good experience and tasteful meal.

Sad that a business wouldn’t be more prepared for the Super Bowl. Also sad that right off the bat I get sassed at before saying anything. Come on now.

I enjoyed the food here. The staff are friendly and the service is great. The fries are amazing and the tenders are sized perfectly.

Wing are my fav food and wing stop is my favorite place to for them and they have such a variety of wings

Id love to write that the wings were fantastic, quickly prepared and large. I love good wings.
Unfortunately the wings were only pretty good, took over 18 minutes for my order to be ready and the largest wing was a medium at best.
Also, disappointed that there werent any carrots, celery, blue cheese or ranch included. I just spent over $ 50 on wings… are those customary side items too much to ask for?
Im giving 4 points. The cashier was very nice. She brought my rating to a 4 from a 2.

I come here from time to time, and the food is great! 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it takes too long for the food to come out even if it isn’t busy. The place is pretty clean and the staff is nice!

Wings were delicious but the Service was terrible… I waited 25 minutes for my food.
This branch needs to up their game… At least they were polite.

Best chicken wings around! Try the Mango Habenero for something fun and spicy! They have a great manager and he really keeps his staff in line and well trained! (if there’s ever an issue — make sure and let him know … he’ll deal with it!)
We’ve never had bad food there yet! It’s our new favorite chicken wings place to eat! We’ve tried several flavors but our favorites are definitely the classic and mango habenero. :)
Food is made fresh and on the spot. I love that I can order online and have my order ready when I get there too! :)
This is the perfect Monday night Football appetizers! Just make sure to invite me over too! ;)

Came here for lunch with a coworker. The chicken, their several flavor options and combinations are excellent however my compliant will always be because of the wait time. Bathrooms are cleaned. Décor and atmosphere is nice. And the customer service is stellar. The fries could be better but overall ok.

My husband and I have gotten Friday night take-​out from Wingstop several times, and we always enjoy the food. We have gotten 5 – 6 different varieties of the boneless chicken wings and as many different sauces and sides. While I am sure there are better wings in the world, these definitely taste good and satisfy you when you are craving bar food without being able to go out. Kids really cramp your style! :-D
I will add this: we have never eaten there, so I cannot speak to their ambiance or the service of their staff. My husband has used their online ordering system (
) to call ahead and order the food so it is ready for pick up and he says it is very easy and it has always been ready by the time he gets there.

Made a quick stop for lunch while running errands in Aspen Hill. Staff was polite. Shop was relatively clean. Once, you order there is about an 8 to 10 minute delay as they make each order fresh. There are pros and cons to that, but once I got my food, I felt a little rushed to finish and get out.
I had the Hawaiian and the Old Bay boneless. The Hawaiian is a wet sauce which was overly tangy and sweet. The Old Bay is a dry rub and is good, without being really spicy. The husband had the Teriyaki and the Old Bay. I tried the Teriyaki, but only got about half way through the wing before my stomach hurt from how sweet the sauce was. I understand not wanting all the sauces to be spicy, but this was cloyingly sweet.

The wings here are amazing! I love the garlic parmesan and BBQ wings. The combos are such a great deal — sign up for their e-​club and get an email instantly for their free fries :)
The part that knocked them down one star to only 4 stars is their customer service. The employees here always seem very… aggressive, not friendly, or welcoming. For our most recent order, they messed up our normal order and gave us the spiciest wings on their menu. We called to complain and the manager gave said our next same order will be on them, which was nice of him. He did say that he recently got a few new employees, which was nice of him, but left us hungry for the night. Just make sure you look at your order before leaving.
Overall, I do recommend the wings & fries at this place — much better that your normal wings joint.

There is zero chance of me returning for these wings… Started off with the mango habanero and garlic parmesan. The mango habanero wasn’t all that spicy nor did I enjoy the flavor. However, they were better than the garlic parmesan wings which had zero taste at all… Went back for some lemon pepper and some buffalo wings hoping to salvage my meal… The lemon pepper wings weren’t oily enough while the regular hot wings were no better than 7 – 11 wings. The fries weren’t even that good, and fries anywhere are usually always good, haha.

I would compare this restaurant to Buffalo Wild Wings; both have very similar menus; both seem to be sports-​oriented, with TV screens on the walls. BWW has one thing on this place: they have hard cider, which Wingstop does not. But at lunch I’m not looking for alcohol, so this hardly matters.
I’ve only been to one BWW: the one in Rockville Town Center. And I’ve only been to one Wingstop: this one in Aspen Hill. So some of the comparisons might not apply across the board to all branches of both chains. This one is considerably smaller than the BWW I’ve been to, and nowhere near as busy (I think they may do more take-​out than eat-​in business; I’ve never seen a reason to do take-​out, however). But then again, this is a new location, in a place that was until recently a Vietnamese place. I was sad to see the Vietnamese place go, but if I’m really in the mood for Vietnamese food, there’s always Mi La Cay, though it’s some distance away in Wheaton.
As is usual where there are a lot of degrees of spicy, I don’t generally order the absolute spiciest on their menu, but I ordered (for my two flavors) Louisiana Rub, which is near the top, and Garlic Parmesan, nearer to the bottom. I was happy with both.
I got the boneless wings, which are available (with two flavors, divided half and half, and a dip) in quantities of 6, 8, or 10. An order of 8 came with an immense order of French fries and a self-​serve drink for under $ 10, a good price. My only complaint might be I would have preferred more chicken and a smaller portion of fries. The total was quite filling, and good.
All in all, certainly not a five-​star place (see my negative comments above), but a worthwhile place to go.
